Unlike the previous seasons, this year the top two teams from the league stage automatically qualify for the semi-finals whereas the remaining two semi-final spots will be decided through single-headed knockout matches between teams who finish between third and sixth places on the ISL 2022-23 points table after the league stage.

A total of six teams have progressed to the playoff stage this year,

The teams have made it to the ISL playoffs :

  1. Mumbai City FC : With 46 points from their quota of 20 matches in the league stage, Mumbai City FC has already sealed the top spot and will move on directly to the semi-finals.
  2. Hyderabad FC : The other semi-final spot has been claimed by reigning champions Hyderabad FC, who are on 39 points from 19 matches. The Nizams will hold on to their second spot in the league table irrespective of the result in their final league phase encounter against Kerala Blasters.
  3. ATK Mohun Bagan : ATK Mohun Bagan has confirmed a finish between the third and sixth spots on the ISL 2022-23 standings.
  4. Bengaluru FC : Bengaluru FC has confirmed a finish between the third and sixth spots on the ISL 2022-23 standings.

Although Chennaiyin FC, coached by Thomas Brdaric, missed out on qualifying for the playoffs, Brdaric reckons his side competed well with every team they faced in ISL 2022-23. Chennaiyin suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat at League Shield winners Mumbai City FC and held last season’s champions Hyderabad FC to a 1-1 draw in Gachibowli.

The ISL playoffs 2022-23 promise to be exciting with Mumbai City FC and Hyderabad FC already sealing their semi-final spots. The fight for the remaining two semi-final spots is still on, and we can expect some exciting and competitive football from the six teams vying for those spots.

When attempting to download Chrome while using the default Microsoft Edge browser, users are greeted with two ad banners.

The first banner is small, like a small reminder that Edge uses the same technology as Chrome, and then it says you get “added trust from Microsoft”. Google does some of the same thing by displaying banners that recommend using Google Chrome, but they’re a little more passive-aggressive about it, attempting to make you feel empowered by using Google.

When you first installed Google Chrome, you simply selected Chrome as your default browser, and that was it; you could go about your business. Microsoft, on the other hand, has added steps that force you to select the instances that Chrome will handle individually.

According to a recent report, the upcoming iPhone 15 series will receive a RAM upgrade across the board. According to TrendForce via MacRumors, Apple intends to increase the capacity and specifications of DRAM, which could potentially improve performance for Apple’s next flagship.

While its not mentioned in detail, but the Pro models will be upgraded to 8GB of RAM, a modest increase from the current 6GB. This could result in improved performance for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. It’s also possible that the capacity of the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models will not be increased.

In addition to capacity increases, its reported that Apple may be considering introducing LPDDR5 RAM, a faster specification than the iPhone 14’s LPDDR4X. Because the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max currently use LPDDR5, this change could bring non-Pro models’ performance closer to that of the Pro models.

The combination of more RAM and the upcoming A17 Bionic chipset could cement Apple’s lead in compute performance. This would be the first RAM upgrade since the iPhone 12 Pro debuted with a 6GB capacity.

The MARQ collection includes Garmin’s suite of 24/7 health and wellness features like wrist-based heart rate, respiration and stress tracking, advanced sleep insights, Body-Battery™ energy monitoring and a new Jet Lag Adviser. Whether a global traveller or an athlete participating in events across the country or overseas, the Jet Lag Adviser helps users feel their best mentally and physically.

The adviser uses sleep history and other metrics to recommend users about light exposure, sleep schedule and exercise to minimize the effects of jet lag for their next long-distance. The feature will also suggest what to do and at what time to quickly adjust to the new time zone (while travelling) to provide reminders like nutrition and caffeine intake. Garmin connect app™  will enable users to enter their travel details in the app for it to track how their body’s internal clock is adjusting to the new destination.

New to all MARQ watches, the collection includes support for multi-band GNSS, multi-frequency GPS (L1 + L5) and Garmin SatIQ™ technology, which secures superior positioning accuracy in any environment while optimizing battery life. MARQ Athlete           

Suited for any competition, MARQ Athlete is built with a titanium case, brushed DLC-coated bezel and fashioned with a lightweight vented silicone rubber strap selected for secure fit and accurate sensor readings. With MARQ athelete, users will be able to track all aspects of their performance, training and recovery with advanced metrics like training readiness, which gives a score based on sleep quality, recovery, training load and more, so they can determine whether it’s a good day to push the limits or take it easy. 

For runners, MARQ Athlete includes a wide range of advanced training features like PacePro™, which keeps a runner’s pacing strategy on track with grade-adjusted guidance as they run a course, and real-time stamina to track and manage exertion through activity to avoid burnout. In addition to daily activity tracking, the MARQ Athlete comes preloaded with sports apps for all athletic pursuits like running, cycling, swimming, skiing, golf, pickleball & tennis, gym workouts, and surfing, just to name a few, along with easy-to-follow animated cardio, strength, yoga and Pilates workouts.

MARQ Adventurer

MARQ Adventurer features an innovative edge to edge leather design and durable FKM rubber hybrid strap to work in a casual setting as well as during activity. It combines the elegance of a leather strap with increased sweat and stain resistance. The compass bezel uses cardinal directions and 360-degree markings to help keep users on track as they use the Orienteering feature to navigate to their destination.

MARQ Golfer

With a golf course-inspired color scheme, green ceramic inlay, custom etched bezel, and tritone green jacquard-weave nylon strap, the love for the game won’t go unnoticed. Preloaded with over 42,000 worldwide golf courses, MARQ Golfer will autodetect which course is being played to give precise distances to the front, middle and back of the green, plus slope direction with Green Contours (Active Garmin Golf™ app membership required). MARQ Golfer includes Garmin’s most advanced set of golf features, including Virtual Caddie, Hazard View, Wind Data, PinPointer and includes three Approach CT10 golf club sensors for automatic club tracking.

MARQ Captain 

Crafted with nautical details like a navy ceramic bezel with regatta timer and race-inspired striped jacquard weave nylon strap, MARQ Captain makes the perfect first mate. The built-in Regatta Timer helps racers cross the starting point at precisely the right time, utilizing the GPS time to burn to calculate the ideal position and a countdown timer that shows time to the gun. For better situational awareness on the water, Alerts and Alarms will signal to imminent tide changes and anchor drag. Access the autopilot right from the wrist with MARQ Captain to change heading, engage pattern steering and follow a route. MARQ Captain also includes profiles for other on-the-water activities like kayaking, standup paddleboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing and kiteboarding.

MARQ Aviator

Whether a pilot or an aviation enthusiast, MARQ Aviator builds on a passion for all things flight. It is designed with a brushed titanium bracelet, swept-wing links and locking clasp, plus ceramic 24-hour GMT bezel. MARQ Aviator can be used to navigate to a location or waypoint in the worldwide aeronautical database or to choose the nearest function to activate a path to a nearby airport.

Samsung R&D Institute Noida (SRI-N) is a global R&D Center developing advanced solutions to suit global and local market needs with expertise in the commercialization of products. SRI-N significantly contributes towards the development of smartphones and other innovations. Galaxy S23 Series – Improved User Experience

User experience is critical in today’s digital world, where users anticipate a highly intuitive experience. The Galaxy to Share app has been developed to allow users to share all customizations and own personalization settings across Galaxy devices in India. Similarly, the multi-timer feature enables the user to simultaneously have multiple timers, all at the same time, for different activities and tasks.

The Bedtime Alarm feature is also more robust, allowing users to customize alarm timings day-wise. To enhance communication, the Direct Dial 4X1 widget has been added to the S23 Home Screen for easy accessibility of priority contacts and dialling them with a single touch. SRI-N developed these apps and features to provide the most seamless and intuitive experience to customers while providing a wide scope for customization.

Galaxy S23 Series – Health feature development & Performance Improvement

With domain expertise in health and wearables, SRI-N engineers have been focused on enhancing health features in the Flagship devices. The Galaxy S23 series is equipped with a new Sleep tracker widget on the home screen, which enables users to track their sleeping patterns and sleep score very easily.

Similarly, the Water tracker feature allows users to set their own day-wise water intake targets and sends reminders at custom scheduled timings. SRI-N engineers also contributed towards the improvements in the Samsung Health trackers like Water, Body composition, Cycle tracking, and Heart rate. Such features have been developed, keeping in mind the preference of Gen Z and millennials who like to balance their physical health, fitness, and mindfulness; all together and seamlessly.

Galaxy S23 Series – User Safety

As technology advances, more personal information is required to offer a better user experience and keep users safe. In order to provide the best experience, engineers at SRI-N have developed the Emergency SOS and Emergency Sharing feature to enable users to send help messages with their own location information and video recording during an emergency, all through a simple action of pressing the power button 3 times. The action initiates the emergency call, which is then followed by the emergency message.
