What Is Oh My Guard About?
The drama tells the unpredictable love story of Uhm Tae Bong, an A-list actor with one fatal flaw, and Oh Hae Ra, a mysterious woman who believes she is Cha Hong Doo, the female lead of his drama. The twist behind her belief is an accident that leaves her mistakenly convinced she has stepped into the story.
Uhm Tae Bong’s “No Kiss” Poster
In his poster, Jung Yong Hwa’s character radiates the relaxed confidence of an international superstar. But a “no kissing” sign above his head gives away his big problem: although he’s famous for romance dramas, he flatly refuses to film kiss scenes. The poster raises an obvious question about the reason behind this rule, along with the mystery of the skull-embroidered hoodie at the top.
Oh Hae Ra, the Die-Hard Fan
The second poster flips the perspective. It shows Hong Seung Hee’s character surrounded by Uhm Tae Bong merchandise, making it clear she’s a devoted fan. Her obsession becomes much more complicated once her accident makes her believe she belongs inside his drama.
Clues Hidden in Both Posters
Both posters feature a pig plushie and the script for The Crown Prince’s Bodyguard, Oh Hae Ra’s favourite Uhm Tae Bong drama. These items are key story elements. The production team teased that the posters are packed with symbolic objects hinting at the pair’s personalities and relationship, so viewers can enjoy discovering what each one means as the series unfolds.
