Kim Jae Won and Jeon So Young: Overview

What Has Been Confirmed?

A media outlet first reported that both actors had been cast. SHOWBOX then clarified the situation: it did offer the lead roles to Kim Jae Won and Jeon So Young, and the discussions are still at the talks stage. In other words, the pairing is promising but not official.

About Da Capo

The film is a youthful romance drama directed by Lee Eon Hee, who previously made Love in the Big City, Missing and The Accidental Detective 2: In Action. The title borrows from the musical term “da capo,” which means to return to the beginning, a fitting hint for a love story. Plot details haven’t been shared yet.

Meet the Potential Leads

Kim Jae Won has steadily built his profile through dramas such as Our Blues, King the Land, Hierarchy and The Tale of Lady Ok. He is also about to make his big-screen debut in the film Final Interview, so Da Capo could become another major step in his film career.

Jeon So Young drew attention this year through If Wishes Could Kill and The Legend of Kitchen Soldier. She is also awaiting the release of the film Day and Night (working title), which shows her momentum is carrying over to the big screen as well.
