Nokia TV with ‘Sound by JBL’ launched via Flipkart at Rs 41,999

The much speculated Nokia TV is here, Flipkart on Thursday announced the launch of ‘Nokia TV’ in India. Being powered by ‘Sound by JBL’, the TV is an Android TV that has been priced at Rs 41,999 and will available from December 10 onwards at Flipkart.

This new Nokia TV features a 55-inch Ultra HD 4K display with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution with 400 nits of brightness and also has both Dolby Vision and Dolby Sound. The display has a 60 Hz refresh rate, 16:9 aspect ratio and 178-degree standard viewing angles.

The TV’s display has a wide colour gamut of over a billion lifelike colours and 100% more colour gamut than other Smart TVs, this TV from Nokia lets you enjoy a truly cinematic experience. The Intelligent Dimming feature gives you an accurate emphasis of darker shades and highlights.

The sound experience has been kept in mind by Nokia as it comes with 24 Watt built-in speakers, DTS TruSurround, and Dolby Audio. The main attraction of the TV is the deep bass tones, clear vocal tones and minimal harmonic distortion provided by this revolutionary audio technology by JBL.

As this an Android TV, the performance is handled by 1 GHz CA53 Quad-Core coupled with 2.25GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It is powered by the Android 9.0 and supports apps via Google’s Android TV Play Store. The graphics of the TV is handled by the Mali 450 Quad-Core GPU.

The Nokia TV has extremely thin bezels and Geometry Inspired Design & Stylish Art Deco Stand takes the style quotient of your living room to a whole new level. It packs some essential features including 10 Bit Color Depth, 4K Upscaler and MEMC technologies.

Speaking of ports & connectivity, the TV packs both built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 support. Like Motorola TVs, which was launched a few months back this TV is a stock Android TV with Google Assistant and Screen Mirroring support.
