They are priced starting from ₹29,900 and go all the way up to ₹35,700 for certain models.

The smart glasses are available for pre-order from today through various online and offline partner sellers. They ship with regular lenses, which allows wearers the choice of adding a prescription lens for an extra cost. Introduced in 2023 in the US, these glasses are now available in India via leading retailers, and India is one of the first Asian countries to have access to Meta’s new wearable technology.

This action might also be an indication that Meta might be launching officially Quest VR headsets in India soon, which are currently available via third-party sellers on platforms like Amazon at slightly marked-up prices. The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses come with a 12 MP camera that can take high-quality photos and record videos at 1080p for up to 60 seconds. Hands-free livestreaming to Facebook and Instagram is available. For audio, the glasses have open-ear speakers that provide deeper bass and better quality, as well as five microphones to better capture a wearer’s voice.

They take phone calls and play music to boot. The glasses connect to smartphones using the Meta AI app, which has been newly introduced alongside the product. Available in several frame styles, including the iconic Wayfarer and the stylish new Skyler, the glasses come with sun, clear, or prescription lenses. They are bundled with a charging case that provides up to 36 hours of usage and doubles as a portable battery pack. One of the key highlights is the integration of Meta AI, which responds to the voice command “Hey Meta.” In India, the AI assistant will initially support only text-based interactions. Visual search capabilities, currently live in the US, are expected to arrive in India in the near future.
