Hyundai Bayon Price in India and Booking Details
The Hyundai Bayon starts at ₹9,99,900 (ex-showroom). It is offered in multiple variants, with buyers able to choose between a six-speed manual gearbox and an Intelligent Variable Transmission (iVT) automatic on selected trims.
The lineup includes HX2, HX3, HX3+, HX5, HX6, HX8 and HX10 variants, with automatic options available on selected higher trims. Variant-wise pricing and feature availability should be checked with Hyundai before booking.
Customers can book the SUV through the official Hyundai India website or visit an authorised dealership. Deliveries are scheduled to begin during the festive season.

Hyundai Bayon Engine and Performance
The new SUV is powered by a four-cylinder, 1.5-litre MPi naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115 PS of maximum power and 143.8 Nm of peak torque.
Hyundai offers a six-speed manual transmission for drivers who prefer conventional gear changes, while the iVT automatic is designed to deliver smoother driving in everyday traffic.
The automatic version also gets Dash Boost Mode for improved responsiveness during overtaking, along with Sporty Drive Tech and paddle shifters. Drivers can select Eco, Normal and Sport modes depending on their preferences and driving conditions.
The company has not provided an official fuel-efficiency figure in the launch information, so buyers should wait for confirmed mileage figures before comparing running costs.
Dual 12.3-Inch Displays and Generative AI Voice Assistant
Technology is one of the Hyundai Bayon’s biggest selling points. The cabin features two 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays, combining the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system into a modern cockpit.
The SUV also introduces Hyundai Motor India’s first built-in generative AI voice assistant, developed with intelligence from Perplexity and voice AI technology from SoundHound AI. It is designed to handle natural-language requests and provide information about topics such as navigation, weather, restaurants and travel.
Other features include more than 70 Hyundai Bluelink connected functions, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Bose premium sound system and over-the-air updates for supported vehicle controllers.
These features could make the Bayon appealing to buyers who value connected-car technology as much as conventional performance and comfort.
Safety Features Include Level 2 Pro ADAS
Hyundai says the Bayon is engineered around its Global K Enhanced Platform and designed to meet five-star Indian safety standards. Its safety package includes more than 80 safety features, with over 35 offered as standard across all variants.
The headline feature is Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 Pro ADAS, which offers 23 driver-assistance functions. Depending on the system and driving conditions, these include Highway Driving Assist, navigation-based Smart Cruise Control, Blind-spot View Monitor and Surround View Monitor.
The SUV also comes with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Hill-start Assist Control, a tyre pressure monitoring system and all-wheel disc brakes on applicable configurations.
These driver-assistance systems support the driver but do not replace attention, safe driving practices or the need to remain in control of the vehicle.
Hyundai Bayon Design, Comfort and Practicality
The Bayon measures 4,245 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width and 1,605 mm in height with roof rails. Its 2,600 mm wheelbase and 205 mm ground clearance are intended to balance cabin space with everyday usability.
Exterior highlights include H-Edge LED daytime running lights, LED projector headlamps, geometric wheel arches, roof rails and available 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside, buyers get features such as ventilated front seats, an eight-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, rear AC vents, a panoramic sunroof and wireless smartphone charging on applicable variants. The boot offers 505 litres of luggage capacity.
The Bayon will be available in 10 exterior colour options, including monotone, matte and dual-tone finishes.
Hyundai Bayon: Should You Consider It?
At an introductory starting price of ₹9.99 lakh, the Hyundai Bayon brings a strong technology package to buyers considering a new petrol SUV. Its AI assistant, dual panoramic displays and Level 2 Pro ADAS distinguish it from more basic offerings, while the manual and automatic options cater to different driving preferences.
However, buyers should compare the final on-road price, variant-specific equipment, fuel efficiency and ownership costs before making a decision.
