Lock Upp 2: Ram Kapoor’s Heated Outburst At Farah Khan Sparks Massive Online Backlash

Reality TV drama just hit a new high — and not the good kind. As Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa barrels toward its finale, actor Ram Kapoor is trending for all the wrong reasons after losing his cool at host Farah Khan on national television.

What Went Down on Lock Upp 2?

The chaos unfolded during a high-stakes elimination task, where contestants’ supporters stepped in to help save them. Ram repeatedly urged his wife, Gautami Kapoor, to go easy on co-contestant Akanksha Choudhary. Farah, noticing the favoritism, called him out — asking why the same courtesy wasn’t extended to Shilpa Shinde earlier in the season.

Instead of taking the feedback calmly, Ram snapped back loudly, defending his stance by calling Shilpa his “enemy.” The moment he raised his voice directly at Farah, the internet lit up.

Netizens Not Having It

Fans didn’t hold back — many pointed out double standards, saying a junior contestant would’ve faced disqualification for the same behavior. Others criticized the show’s hosts for consistently letting Ram’s outbursts slide. This isn’t Ram’s first controversial moment either; earlier in the season, he’d bluntly told Farah, “Problem hai toh nikal do, I am not going to change.”

This kind of unfiltered drama is exactly why reality shows dominate conversations far beyond entertainment — a pattern seen across reality television formats worldwide, where raw, unscripted conflict often becomes the biggest draw for audiences.

Why It Matters

With the finale approaching, tensions are clearly peaking inside the house — and outside it too. Whether this controversy affects Ram’s standing in the competition remains to be seen, but one thing’s certain: audiences are watching closely, and they’re not shying away from calling out bad behavior.
