Lock Upp 2’s Akanksha Choudhary Opens Up About an Alleged Casting Couch Experience

Before her exit from Lock Upp 2, contestant Akanksha Choudhary shared a difficult personal story from her early modeling career — an alleged casting couch experience that has since sparked widespread conversation online.

What She Shared

Choudhary explained that early in her modeling career, she needed roughly Rs 1-2 lakh to cover pageant expenses like garments and training fees, money her family couldn’t afford. She said she approached a well-known figure in the beauty pageant industry — someone she had known for years through prior judging roles — hoping for financial support, which she offered to repay through work given her engineering background.

According to her account, the meeting took an unexpected and disturbing turn, with the individual allegedly making inappropriate demands in exchange for financial help. She did not name the individual publicly, citing his prominence in the industry, and said she chose not to compromise her self-respect despite the financial pressure she was under at the time.
