Lock Upp 2: Apoorva Mukhija’s Emotional Thank You to Sufi Motiwala

Reality TV rarely delivers moments this raw. On the latest episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa Season 2, content creator Apoorva Mukhija, who entered the house as the show’s informer, opened up about one of the toughest periods of her life — and credited fellow creator Sufi Motiwala for helping her through it.

What Happened on the Show

Apoorva broke down while revisiting the intense public backlash she faced during the India’s Got Latent controversy, a period she described as deeply overwhelming. She shared that the sheer scale of online hate during that time pushed her mental health to a breaking point, and that Sufi was the one constant presence who stood by her when it felt like everyone else had pulled away. Visibly emotional, she told him she genuinely didn’t know how she would have gotten through that phase without him, and that she has always credited him for it in her personal life, regardless of how their friendship has evolved since.

Sufi, equally moved, responded warmly, calling that period one of the best years of his life in Mumbai and admitting he had missed their friendship too. The exchange struck a chord with viewers online, many of whom praised the show for capturing a genuine, unscripted moment amid the usual reality TV drama.
