The trailer for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has officially been released following an earlier leak, revealing plenty of new content for players to explore. Following a break from the regular seasonal pattern with the Chapter 2 Remix, a month where players return to a limited-time OG Battle Royale map, Chapter 6 is about to begin.

Many chapter transitions give us the most exciting map of the year — while still being familiar — and Chapter 6 is one of them, bringing it home so well, with such an abundance of things to do.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Trailer Reveals Samurai Theme, Giant Bosses, and New Mechanics

OG Fortnite seasons are shorter-lived, lasting about a month on average. The end of the Chapter 2 Remix season has left players drooling and ready for Chapter 6, and with good reason, since Fortnite Japan X recently posted fanart that teased what launch Battle Pass information, as well as new points of interest (POIs), and weapons.

Such leaks are common right before a new season, so although Chapter 6 Season 1 will officially go live on December 1, two days prior, the trailer released, showcasing new mechanics including wall jumping and rolling and new POIs along with characters from the Battle Pass.

Chapter 6 Season 1 Battle Pass will have samurai-themed cosmetics, you can expect samurai masks and big boss battles against Godzilla and other giant foes. There could also be slurp creatures or pets to mix into things. This could be where we get a Battle Pass skin for Godzilla, potentially through themed quests like the Dynamo TNTina Quests from the recent Chapter 2 Remix season. Fans may unlock Godzilla by completing certain quests, possibly as early as mid-February.

Beyond the gameplay trailer, it’s customary for Fortnite to release a cinematic trailer whenever a new season begins. Spoilers are out, so for players who want to have some surprises in store, don’t check the internet until Chapter 6 Season 1 officially ends on Sunday, December 1, so they can experience it first-hand.
