Fortnite Crossover Skins Roundup: Cyberpunk Edgerunners’ Lucy and Pac-Man Ghosts Arrive

Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 4, subtitled Override, has kicked off with one of the busiest crossover slates the game has seen in months, headlined by the debut of Lucyna “Lucy” Kushinada from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners alongside a wave of Pac-Man themed cosmetics landing just days apart.

The Cyberpunk Edgerunners collaboration went live on September 20, bringing Lucy into the game as a full skin complete with her signature Monowire pickaxe, a Rebecca plushie back bling, and a matching wrap and emote set — all themed around the beloved anime’s cyberpunk aesthetic.

Players didn’t necessarily have to pay for the skin either. A dedicated Cyberpunk Edgerunners Cup held on September 19 let competitive players earn the Lucy skin for free based on regional leaderboard placement, with thresholds ranging from a Top 30 finish in OCE and Asia to a more forgiving Top 350 in the EU region, alongside bonus rewards like the Rebecca back bling.

Just days before that, Fortnite also welcomed a nostalgia-driven crossover with Pac-Man, bringing the franchise’s iconic ghosts into the game’s Mega Maze mode as part of the same Override season, giving retro gaming fans their own slice of themed content to chase down alongside the anime-focused drop.

With two major crossovers landing within the same week, Epic Games continues its strategy of stacking licensed content across wildly different franchises to keep engagement high throughout each season, a formula that has become central to Fortnite’s ongoing dominance in the live-service space.

The Cyberpunk Edgerunners partnership marks Fortnite’s latest attempt to court the anime fanbase, following similar successful tie-ins with other beloved series in recent seasons. Lucy’s inclusion, alongside a Rebecca-themed back bling, suggests Epic Games may be planning further additions from the show’s cast should the initial collaboration prove popular with players.

Both cosmetic sets are expected to rotate out of the Item Shop later in the month, following Fortnite’s typical limited-time availability model for licensed crossover content, so players interested in either set are advised not to wait too long before making a decision.

For competitive players who missed the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Cup, the paid bundle route remains the only way left to secure Lucy’s full set, making the free-to-earn window one worth watching closely for whichever franchise crosses over into Fortnite next.
