Bollywood’s most anticipated film of 2026 just gave us the most unexpectedly heartwarming moment from its sets. While Shah Rukh Khan and a pregnant Deepika Padukone were busy filming a romantic song sequence on the sun-drenched beaches of Cape Town for King, it was a little girl named Dua and a very doting Ranveer Singh who completely stole the spotlight.

The Moment That Broke the Internet
According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika were filming a dreamy romantic song sequence when a man, believed to be Ranveer Singh, was spotted in the background holding a baby — seen gently grooving to the music while watching the shoot.
Social media connected the dots instantly. The adorable father-daughter duo watching Deepika work her magic on screen with SRK is the kind of real-life wholesome moment that no PR team could ever manufacture. Singh made sure little Dua got a front-row seat to watch her mum do what she does best.

Deepika’s Dedication — Pregnant and Still Delivering
What makes this moment even more remarkable is the context. Despite being pregnant with her second child, Deepika jetted off to Cape Town to fulfil her professional commitments, with her family by her side. Ranveer, fresh off celebrating the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, stepped in to manage daddy duties while she worked.
It’s a quietly powerful statement about professionalism, partnership, and what it looks like when a family chooses to keep showing up for each other — even on a film set 8,000 kilometres from home.
Bollywood has always loved its iconic on-screen pairings, and the SRK-Deepika chemistry from films like Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, and Jawan remains one of the most beloved in Indian cinema history. King marks their sixth collaboration together — and given the buzz already building around it, expectations couldn’t be higher.

What to Expect from King
Directed by Siddharth Anand, King also marks Suhana Khan’s theatrical debut and features a stacked ensemble including Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, and Arshad Warsi. The film is expected to hit cinemas on December 24, 2026.
A Christmas release, SRK back in full action mode, and a reunion with Deepika — King is shaping up to be one of the biggest events in Bollywood in years.
