Gameloft’s new racing game, Asphalt 9 Legends crosses over 4 million downloads in a week

The Asphalt racing series had set a gaming standard, Gameloft has always shown their class with every new version of the game. With no doubts, this time too with the 9th installation of the game, Asphalt has brought something that’s awfully freaky.

When, PUBG has captured every gamer’s attention, introducing a new eye-catching game isn’t that easy. But, it seems Gameloft knows what its gamers need…

Having launched on Android and iOS just last week, Asphalt 9: Legends has already crossed 4 Million downloads globally… India solely has downloaded it 400K+ times.

According to a press release from Gameloft, the game reached the top 5 most downloaded games on iPhone in 150 countries. This includes USA (#4), United Kingdom (#5), France (#2), Germany (#2), Italy (#2) and Japan (#1).

The average rating of the game on the Google Play Store is 4.6 stars and is number one on the list of top-grossing racing game. Asphalt 9 Legends, according to Gameloft, has been selected as the Editors’ Choice by Apple and has made quite a few times in the ‘Game of the Day’ category on app stores in India and outside.

The game is about 1.75GB on Android and 1.5GB on iOS. This is a followup to the Asphalt 8: Airborne.

Features & Improvements:

Asphalt 9: Legends comes with improved visuals, upgraded controls, more customization options… Players will also get an improved multiplayer interface and upgraded rewards for competing in multiplayer races.

The game comes with more than 50 of the “world’s best speed machines”, and you can upgrade them with in-game currency that you earn by winning races. Some of the car manufacturers to feature in the game include Ferrari, Lamborghini, W Motors, and Porsche.

Additionally, players will also be able to form or join clubs and race with up to six other players. There are also some upgrades including automatic acceleration and even automatic turning. There will be dedicated buttons for nitro and drift with gestures to assist players while driving…

As expected, there are more visual and game improvements that you can experience while playing the game. The Asphalt 9 Legends has got an average rating of 4.7 on the App Store, 4.6 on the Play Store and 4.5 on the Microsoft Store.

Vidal also helped Juve win Italy’s Serie A four times in four seasons after moving to Italy from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011. He is a veteran of 100 caps for Chile. And helped his country win the Copa America in 2015.

But now, the 31-year-old is set to complete his move following a medical over the coming days, in a deal understood to be worth in the region of €20 million (£18m/$23m). While Inter and Milan were also offered his services, Barcelona have now closed the deal for Chilean star.

Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci has rejoined Serie A champions Juventus from AC Milan.

Bonucci, 31, spent just one season at the San Siro having joined from Juve for £35.1m last summer. But he has decided to return back to Juventus.

In the upcoming update there will be a slight change in the design of the buildings and also new buildings will be added . The larger maps, Erangel and Miramar will also have dynamic weather system.

Besides this, there will be an important change in the gameplay which includes in the form of bullet penetration system.It is a system the bullet will penetrate through your limbs without getting stopped by them. Like if anyone hits a bullet at your chest and the arm takes the damage, the bullet will travel through the arm and hit the chest thus the damage will be more.

The new update will have few changes in the places of loot and the amount of loot will be increased.

The game will surely be more optimized and the bugs will be fixed.

On August 1st there was a friendly match between Manchester United and Real Madrid. Just before the .atch was going to start Marco Asensio taunted David de Gea, his teammate in the national team by calling him ” Karius”.

Well, Liverpool’s goalkeeper faced his worst nightmare in the Champions League Final against Real Madrid where he gifted his opponents two precious goals. As a result of his mistake, Liverpool lost the final.

On another hand, de Gea was not at his best in this World Cup. His mistakes were clearly noticeable in the group stage match against Portugal which ended in a Draw (3-3). Spain having a much better side than Portugal was not able to win the match.

The taunt of Asensio was just to unnerve De Gea before the game.De Gea was unmoved by the taunts and won the match (2-1) making some fine saves.

Real Madrid have signed Getafe youngster Ayoub Abou on a free transfer.

Los Blancos came to an agreement with Getafe to cancel Abou’s contract. He joined the La Liga minnows only last month. The 20-year-old’s agency confirmed the deal on twitter, stating: “Ayoub Abou, new player of Real Madrid Castilla. The midfielder has rescinded his current contract with Getafe CF and has reached an agreement with the white club for the next four seasons. Luck and success!” Abou will head straight to Real Madrid’s revere side Castilla.

Ayoub Abou played 31 games for Rayo Majadahonda in the Spanish second tier last season. He moved back to Spain from Porto after coming up the youth ranks at Real Madrid’s rivals Barcelona.

Whether or not he ever makes the grade at the Bernabeu it remains to be seen.

They are to face Venezuela U-20 in the COTIF Cup in Valencia, Spain on August 03, 2018. According to reports from the AIFF, the Indian coach Floyd Pinto said: “It is a very big challenge for us to face the likes of Venezuela in a competitive environment and it provides us with an opportunity to grow and develop while experiencing competition of the highest order. Facing teams like Venezuela is the way ahead for us as it speeds up the player development process.”
After facing Venezuela, India would square off against Argentina U20 on August 05, 2018.

On their previous match against Mauritania, the Indians suffered a 3-0 defeat, as they missed five regular starters against them due to injury and suspension.

The head coach quoted:

“We played without Jitender & Anwar who was suspended and missed regular starters due to injuries. It is never easy to play a game without two regular central defenders but Narender and Sahil played well and gained valuable experience”.

After the first half lead, they eventually netted twice in the 71st and 78th minute which sealed India’s fate.
“The boys started off very well but Mauritania were very physical and direct. They took the lead in the first half but we kept pressing for the equalizer and we could have ended the match on level terms had we not conceded late,” Floyd explained.
