Inter have finally signed Lukaku from Manchester United

Inter Milan have finally got their long-term target Romelu Lukaku in the transfer deadline day.

Romelu Lukaku was finally granted his wish of quitting Manchester United and joining Inter, on Thursday. He joined Inter in a club-record deal reported to be €80million before the Premier League’s transfer window was closed. Lukaku has signed a contract with Inter until June 2024.

Lukaku

Lukaku joined Manchester United from Everton for £75m in 2017. He has spent two seasons at the Old Trafford. He scored 12 Premier League goals in 2018-19 and 15 across all competitions as United finished sixth and lost to Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals last season. He scored a total of 42 goals in 96 appearances for United in his two seasons. But, Solskjaer prefers Rashford more than Lukaku up-front.

Lukaku said: “Inter were the only club I wanted because Inter is Not For Everyone. I’m here to bring the Nerazzurri back to the top. I’m really happy to be here! Thank you for the support. Forza Inter.”

Lukaku also wrote on social media: “To everyone involved with Manchester United – from the board to the manager and his staff, the players, and the fans. Thank you and good luck for the future @manchesterunited.”

Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku has been handed the number nine shirt by Inter in a move that further suggests Mauro Icardi is on his way out of San Siro. Icardi, linked with Juventus and Napoli, had played with the number nine on his back since arriving at the Serie A side in 2013.
Diego Forlan, Samuel Eto’o, Julio Cruz, Hernan Crespo, Ronaldo and Ivan Zamorano have also had the same shirt number over the past two decades.

Inter finished at fourth last season and have last won the Serie A in the 2009-10 season. They now hope to compete again for the Serie A. Lukaku will most probably make his debut for Inter when they face Valencia in a friendly on Saturday before opening their Serie A campaign at home to Lecce on 26th August.

Navdeep Saini is set to make his ODI debut in the series opener.

India’s middle order weakness was exposed in the World Cup 2019. As India play their first 50-overs game after the World Cup 2019. it would be interesting to see whether they play KL Rahul or Rishabh Pant at the No. 4 spot.

India will face West Indies in a 3-match ODI series that starts from August 8.

India won the T20 series 3-0,without giving any chance to the opposition.

Virat Kohli-led Team India will now look to continue their winning streak in three-match ODI series that starts from Thursday at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.

With the return of shikhar Dhawan, he along with Rohit Sharma will open the innings for India. There are more than four contenders for the number four spot. Manish Pandey has got his call as he averages above 70 while playing for India A. Shreyas Iyer is also rewarded of his performance with an average of 50.

Kl Rahul has got more experience and gets a better chance for this spot.

On the other hand in the bowling department, the lanky pacer Navdeep Saini will make his debut in ODI series opener. The Karnal born pacer was starred in India’s four-wicket win over West Indies in the first T20 in Florida by picking up three wickets for 17 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav who will look to fix his spot in Indian team, will also contest to become fastest Indian to take 100 ODI wickets. He’s just seven wickets away from achieving this feat. But 2019 has not been his year as he has bowled 166 overs and taken only 26 wickets with an average of 34.

Virat Kohli is on the verge of another record of scoring most runs against West Indies. He has scored 556 runs and is second in the list. Kohli is jus short of 144 runs to create another record.

Realme is launching a 64MP phone with 4 cameras. Here are the details.

The CEO of Realme India changed his Twitter name yesterday, revealing the new name of the incoming four-camera smartphone – it will be Realme 5. Today the company announced on Weibo more details about the 64 MP main shooter.

Screenshots from the camera presentation

The Realme 5 will have the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor and it appears it will be the first phone to do so, even before the Redmi flagship. The size of it is 1/1.72”, with a pixel size of 0.8µm, making it even bigger than the 48 MP ISOCELL Bright GM1 platform, used in other phones from the same price range.

According to the images, the new camera will provide clearer images and better details when the photo is cropped/zoomed. The sensor is actually of the Tetracell variety so it’s intended to shoot in binned 16MP mode.

The secondary shooter will be super-wide-angle cam with 119-degree FoV and f/2.2 aperture, while the third one will have a dedicated macro lens that will allow you to take photos from up to 4 cm with impressive details.

Design-wise, it is obvious the camera will keep the design introduced in the Realme 3 Pro – two yellow circles around the main shooter, so people will know where to look when you’re taking their portrait shot.

Four live focus modes — Blur, Big Circle, Colour Point, and Glitch —let you apply effects to the background in your photos as well as videos and, as the name suggests, you can see them live even as you take the picture or record the video.

Arguably the most interesting camera-related feature is a new Zoom-in Mic that will let you tap any person in a recording and have their sound enhanced in the resulting video. This should — in theory, at least — let you focus on the sound of the lead singer, for example, if you are recording a musical performance at a crowded venue with a lot of background noise.

The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ also ship with a brand new video editor app, which lets you edit videos on-the-go. As you would expect, the app includes S Pen support, letting you doodle text on videos apart from using the stylus to make certain operations faster and more intuitive.

The new S Pen features

Talking about S Pen, the new headline feature here is Air Actions, that take shortcuts introduced in the Galaxy Note 9 at ₹ 61,999 to the next level. By pressing and holding the button the S Pen and moving around the stylus, you can trigger certain actions within apps.

For example, you can swipe up or down in the Camera app to switch the cameras; left or right to go to the next/ previous mode, or move the stylus clockwise/ counter-clockwise in a circle to zoom in/ out. All these actions can be customised on a per-app basis from Settings.

What’s more, Samsung will open the SDK to third-party developers, which means developers will be able to integrate this functionality into their own apps.

Samsung says it has also made it easier to select handwritten notes and convert them to text, as well as export them to a variety of formats like Microsoft Word, PDF, plain text, or image. You can also select handwritten text and change parts of its to a different colour or change the width of the pen stroke.

The unibody S Pen has a standby time of 10 hours.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ both feature Dynamic AMOLED displays with a 19:9 aspect ratio

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ other features and specifications

Samsung DeX, which offers you the big screen experience with your phone, now words with just the Type-C cable that comes in the box, letting you connect your Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ to a Windows machine or a Mac and use the phone apps alongside the computer’s native apps. How this actually functions remains to be seen.

Windows users will be offered a deeper level of integration than ever before thanks to Quick Panel which gives the ability to share messages, see notifications, make phone calls, and view recent photos on the computer, as well as mirror the phone’s screen wirelessly. The phone calling feature will be enabled via a software update in Q4 this year.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ come with support for up to 45W fast charging, though they ship with a 25W charger in the box. There’s an “AI-based Game Booster” feature as well that claims to enhance the performance of compatible games, similar to what we’ve seen other OEMs ship on their devices.

Other staples of the Samsung’s flagship line like Wireless PowerShare, AKG-tuned sound, Samsung Pay, Knox security features, and IP68 support are included as well.

David Luiz is forcing a shock move to Arsenal

The Chelsea defender did not train on Wednesday in an attempt to force a transfer.

Arsenal sold their centre-back Laurent Koscielny to Bordeaux on Tuesday. They now want a defender before the Premier League’s transfer deadline on Thursday.
According to a report by L’Equipe, David Luiz is reportedly demanding a shock move to Arsenal. He trained away from the rest of Frank Lampard’s squad on Wednesday.

Luiz

Luiz is one of a number of central defenders on Unai Emery’s shortlist ahead of the transfer deadline. But it is understood that there has been no formal bid for the Brazilian yet from the Gunners.
David Luiz’s agent, Kia Jorrabchian, also represents Arsenal technical director Edu.

Chelsea are determined to not let the defender leave in this summer. They are facing a transfer ban, so they would have no opportunity to replace him. But David Luiz is determined to leave this summer. The report claims tensions have grown between Luiz and Chelsea.

Luiz

Luiz is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2021 after signing an extension in May of this year. The 32-year-old made 36 Premier League appearances and scored three goals last season, his most ever during an English top-flight campaign.

Arsenal are looking to strengthen their defensive options and are expected to make a final push to sign Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney before the deadline.

Intel’s 56 Core Cooper Lake Xeon Platinum 9282 CPU launched

0

To counter AMD’s monstrous 64 core EPYC Rome CPUs, Intel has just announced the 56-core Cooper Lake-processor

AMD already announced its 64 core 7nm server CPUs earlier and to finally reply to it Intel has launched the Cooper Lake family based on the same 14nm architecture ranging from 32 to 56 cores.

Yes, Intel has managed to stuff 56 cores to a single server end CPU to at least compete with its rival. These CPUs will be using the LGA 4189 socket which is said to be supporting 10nm Ice Lake-based SP processors which will be available in Q2 or Q3 of 2020.

Intel's 56 Core Cooper Lake Xeon Platinum 9282 CPU launched

Until now we had up to 28 core Xeon processors based on Cascade Lake architecture but these new Cooper Lake CPUs will be carrying the same two dies of 28 core Xeon Gold chips. But unlike the older gen, CPX will be limited to 2S configurations with 8 memory channels per chip and 16 per machine.

“We are excited about the early customer deployments of the Intel Xeon Platinum 9200 series that we introduced as part of our 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor family. Bringing a 56-core processor into our mainline Intel Xeon Scalable processor family in the next generation will further expand our ability to address customer needs for the highest levels of performance in artificial intelligence, high performance computing and high density infrastructure.”

–Lisa Spelman, vice president and general manager of Data Center Marketing, Intel Corporation

Leaks have already suggested that the AMD Rome chips have crushed the previous-gen Intel Xeon chips within the same price range.

Intel's 56 Core Cooper Lake Xeon Platinum 9282 CPU launched

The Intel Xeon Platinum 9221 has a base clock of 2.1GHz and a boost of 3.7GHz with the flagship Xeon Platinum 9282 having a base clock speed of 2.6GHz and a boost of 3.8GHz. Also, these CPUs have up to 77MB cache memory.

Now when you look into the TDP ratings, you’ll see these CPUs consuming lot more power, from 250W all the way up to 400W. These TDP ratings are a lot more than the 64 core Rome CPU consuming as low as 225W along with a huge 256MB cache memory, thanks to the 7nm architecture.

These Xeon Platinum 9000-series chips will offer up to 56 cores and 112 threads in a dual-die Multi-Chip Module design. The Cooper Lake CPUs support 12 channels of DDR4-2933 memory, providing up to 24 memory channels and 3TB of DDR4 memory in a two-socket server.

Intel's 56 Core Cooper Lake Xeon Platinum 9282 CPU launched

The dual-socket combo provides up to 407 GB/s of memory throughput for the 56-core models. The 9200-series chips also expose up to 40 PCIe 3.0 lanes per chip, for a total of 80 lanes in a dual-socket server.

Though the Cooper Lake CPUs will be notably faster yet they will cost around 3-4 times more than the last-gen. On the other hand, AMD is supposed to charge around $10K for the 64 core flagship which will make them much more affordable and usable.

Wayne Rooney is back in English football

The Manchester United and England legend will join Derby County in January after accepting a job as player-coach.

Wayne Rooney left the Premier League last summer to join the MLS club, DC United. He has scored 23 times in 42 MLS appearances and will play for DC United until the end of the current season before moving to Derby in 2020. He has accepted an 18 months contract as a player-coach role in support of Rams boss Phillip Cocu.

Wayne Rooney said about DC United: “They’ve been fantastic to me. We’re in a good position in the league – there’s nine games left of the season.
I think it’d be disrespectful to them if I didn’t finish the season and try to help get us into a playoff spot and try to win a trophy. That was always the plan, then to come here in January.
I remain fully focused on giving my all for the team for the rest of this season and repaying the support shown by the Black-and-Red faithful by hopefully delivering an MLS Cup to Audi Field.”

Derby owner Mel Morris told Sky Sports: “He wants to finish the season there and of course it’s pivotal to them that they’re in [contention for] the play-offs at the moment. He was wanting to make sure he saw the season out. He’ll join us in January.
It stemmed from a conversation between Phillip Cocu and Wayne which was pivotal to this thing. I think for Wayne [it was important] to come and work with a manager he holds in high esteem and obviously for Phillip the opportunity to get a world-class player and somebody he can have on the field to help bring on the youngsters.”

“Wayne is coming here to play for the club but he’s also wanting to accelerate his coaching badges. A key thing for him in terms of his long-term career ambitions is to become a manager. I think the time we had with Frank [Lampard] was great in terms of demonstrating that willingness to give people time, to work with them, to help them develop. I think Wayne sees us as a good place to come and do that.”

Rooney

Rooney said in the press conference: “I’m delighted to be back here and I’m looking forward to coming back in January and trying to help the team to push forward and hopefully push for promotion.
Firstly, I’m a player. I feel I’ve a lot of qualities I can bring to the squad. I want to come in and play and help the team. Secondly, I want to try and learn off Phillip and his staff to gain experience for when I do stop playing and take that next step.”

“Of course we all want to be like the great managers but that’s for the future. It’s what I want to do and I don’t want to keep talking about it but my main focus is playing and learning.
With any new role, the first thing you want to do is learn that role and learn the best things to do and the things not to do.”

“So I think that’ll be what I’m doing for the next 18 months and trying to learn good habits which coaches do. Of course I’ve played under some great managers – certainly towards the last five years you try to look at things in different ways with one eye on going into that role. I’ll keep trying to learn and give my best on the pitch.
I was lucky enough to have some very good, experienced players who helped me when I was a young player, so that’s a natural progression in football and now I’m at the end where I can hopefully help them and guide them.”

Rooney Gerrard Lampard

Rooney’s long-term objective is to follow his former England colleagues Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard by becoming a manager. He said: “It’s great to see them going into management. I’ve always had the ambition to do so – it’s great these young English managers are getting the opportunities.
I feel over the last 15-20 years we haven’t seen so many great ex-England players going into management. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and when the time is right hopefully I can move into it. But my first aim is to play.”

“Derby is a club with great ambitions. In the last few years they’ve put a lot of money into the club to try to take the next step to get into the Premier League.
I feel it was a place where I could come in, use my experience and try to help them to achieve their goals. The squad of players is a good squad – you have to believe your squad is good enough to take that next step and we’ll work hard to make sure we can do that.”

Rooney

Derby appointed Phillip Cocu as the manager after Lampard left to become Chelsea head coach in the close season. Cocu said: “Rooney can bring a great deal of influence… on the pitch and off the pitch. The way we work – with a lot of youngsters coming up – he can help the team to develop. We can help him in a future role, being a coach, being a manager. I think it’s a perfect moment to join together and work together.”

Juventus have accepted Tottenham’s bid for Paulo Dybala

Juventus are apparently willing to let Tottenham Hotspur discuss personal terms with Paulo Dybala.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Tottenham Hotspur have made a €70m offer for Paulo Dybala and now it is up to Dybala to accept the transfer or not. Dybala has previously rejected an offer from Manchester United which included a swap deal between him and Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku because he does not want to join the Old Trafford club.

Dybala might think differently this time about Tottenham because their manager Mauricio Pochettino is from Argentina and it was already reported over the weekend that he had called Dybala personally. Tottenham are also in the Champions League and indeed reached the final last season. So this can prove to be a decisive factor for Dybala to finally accept an offer.

Dybala

Dybala has seen his future called into question after he took on a diminished role with Juventus last season following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo last season. The Argentina international scored 10 goals in all competitions for Juve in 2018-19, down from 26 the previous season.

For Tottenham, Dybala’s arrival would be a major statement following the cash infusion they gained from reaching last season’s Champions League final. They have already made two signings this summer: Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon and Jack Clarke from Leeds, though Clarke has been loaned back to the Championship side for 2019-20.

Dybala2 Juventus have accepted Tottenham's bid for Paulo Dybala

Dybala isn’t the only big name who could potentially arrive in North London this summer. They have emerged as one of the only options for Philippe Coutinho, whom Barcelona are looking to offload ahead of the new season. The Times report that Tottenham have submitted a loan offer to Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho.

Tottenham Hotspur appear willing to add extra attacking firepower to their side before the transfer window closes on Thursday evening.

Lionel Messi excepts to be out for a little while after a calf injury but promises Barcelona would “fight again for everything”

Lionel Messi will not travel to the United States with the Barcelona squad this week after sustaining a calf injury in the training.

The Argentina star suffered a grade one strain during training on Monday and will stay in Catalonia to recover. It was Messi’s first training session since his return from holiday following the Copa America in Brazil.

Barcelona confirmed in a statement: “Messi withdrew from the session due to discomfort in his right leg. Tests carried out have diagnosed a Grade 1 calf strain for the Argentine.”
There is no time frame for his recovery but it is unlikely he will be definitively ruled out of Barca’s LaLiga opener against Athletic Bilbao on 16th August.

Messi injury

Messi wrote on Instagram: “I was looking forward to starting and unfortunately I had an accident in the first training session that will leave me out for a little while.
I’m grateful for all your messages and displays of affection, I wanted to be with the team and with the people who follow us in the USA. It wasn’t to be this time, but we’ll see each other again soon. A hug to everyone.”

Ahead of Barcelona’s match against Arsenal in the Joan Gamper Trophy, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi addressed the home crowd on Sunday. He said: “It’s hard to say something after last season, but I don’t regret anything. But I have no doubt that together we are going to fight again for everything.
We won eight league titles in 11 years. We do not give it the value it deserves but over the years we will see how difficult it was. This club fights for everything and this year will be no different.
We have renewed dreams. Visca Barca and Visca Catalunya!”

Messi

Ainsley Maitland-Niles had a night to forget as his own goal and a Luis Suarez volley helped Barcelona to a 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the Joan Gamper Trophy on Monday.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looked to have teed himself and the Gunners up for the new Premier League season in style with a fine first-half goal.

Lionel Messi has been handed a 3-month Argentina ban by CONMEBOL

Messi was sent off, along with aggressor Gary Medel, after an altercation as Argentina beat Chile 2-1 in the competition’s third-place play-off last month.
After the match, Messi did not appear with his team-mates to collect a medal, sparking questioning from reporters. Messi explained his snub of the ceremony as not wanting to “be part of this corruption, this lack of respect towards the whole Copa”.

Messi red card

He also suggested that the referees and the VAR would favour Tite’s men against Peru in the final, which the Selecao eventually won 3-1.

As punishment for his outbursts, Messi is to serve a three-month suspension from Friday’s announcement, ruling him out of Argentina matches until November. That means he will miss friendlies against Chile, Mexico and Germany, while Messi has also been fined $50,000.

Barcelona will face Napoli in Miami and Ann Arbor this week in the final stretch of their pre-season duties. And they will begin their LaLiga title defence away to Athletic Bilbao on 16th August.

Bayern Munich are on the verge of signing Manchester City winger Leroy Sane

According to widespread reports, Bayern Munich are finally going to sign Germany international Leroy Sane from Manchester City.

According to a report by France Football on Monday afternoon, Sane will join Bayern Munich in a deal worth around €110m in the coming days. If this transfer really happens then this will be the biggest transfer of Bundesliga. The current transfer record of Bundesliga is held by Bayern Munich when they signed Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid for €80m just three months ago.

It is also reported that Sane has already agreed a five-year deal at the Allianz Arena and the 23-year-old will earn €18m-a-year, which will see him surpass Robert Lewandowski as Bayern’s highest-paid player. As it seems, he will inherit the No. 10 shirt left vacant by club legend Arjen Robben.

Sane

Manchester City paid £46.5m to sign him from Schalke in 2016 and he burst on to the scene in the 2017-18 campaign with 10 Premier League goals and another 15 assists as he won the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
Sane, now 23, was restricted to just 21 league stars last season but still returned an impressive 10 goals and 10 assists.

However, he fell out of favour towards the end of the season and was left out of the starting XI for a number of big games as Pep Guardiola’s side went on to win the domestic treble. Guardiola has always maintained he would like to keep him at the Etihad but softened his stance slightly when asked about the situation on Friday.

Sane and Guardiola

Guardiola said: “I know the rumours exist. I want players who want to stay. The player didn’t tell me anything, that’s the reality. He is our player and we want him to stay.”
Sane had been in talks to sign a new contract as his current deal expires at the end of next season. “We tried to extend the contract for more than a year, we were quite close a month ago but now it’s a bit different. I cannot say anymore.” Guardiola added.
This thing may hint that a transfer to Bayern Munich is on the cards.

According to Kicker, Niko Kovac’s men are also eager to sign Sane’s brother Sidi from Schalke, where is part of their Under-17 side. Sidi is 16-year-old and plays as a centre forward at youth level for the Gelsenkirchen outfit.
This could be a clever ploy from the Bundesliga holders to tempt the elder brother to the Allianz Arena by offering him the chance to link up with his brother. But whether or not that will be enough to tempt Sane into moving or City into selling remains to be seen.

Sane

Even before considering the pull of Bayern Munich for any German player, it makes the appeal obvious. Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery riding off into the sunset mean the Bundesliga kings need a main man now to lead them into attacks. That would be Sane who, for all his gifts, will never enjoy similar status under Guardiola. So this status could prove to be a tempting factor for Sane to move into the Allianz Arena.

Former Bayern manager Ottmar Hitzfeld has urged his former club to do all they can to get a deal over the line. He said: “With this transfer, Bayern would send a clear signal to the competition – especially internationally. If you want to strengthen yourself, you have to take a lot of money in the hand. And after the Bayern end of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, the club simply needs a player in the category Sane.”

Sane

A prospective move for the 23-year-old was cast into some doubt on Sunday when he hobbled out early from City’s Community Shield win over Liverpool with an injury. But now the transfer is expected to go through in the coming days and, as things stand, City are unlikely to sign a replacement before the Premier League transfer window closes on Thursday.
