OnePlus TV: Price, Screen sizes, OLED option, smart software and everything we know so far.

OnePlus announced its plans to enter into the TV market. Earlier this week, the company revealed its upcoming TV which will be called OnePlus TV and unveiled the OnePlus TV logo.

The TV which has been in the works may launch soon. Here’s all that speculations suggest about the screen sizes, specifications India launch and availability of the OnePlus TV.

70719543 OnePlus TV: Price, Screen sizes, OLED option, smart software and everything we know so far.

OnePlus TV design and manufacture

OnePlus has said that they want to bring “OnePlus’ premium flagship design” to the TV category.

There’s only so much you can do with a 16:9 panel, but it looks like the design is going to be a target for the company – but as yet, we’ve no idea what it will look like. They will cover 43, 55, 65 and 75-inches, which are broadly the main sizes that TVs are selling. These bluetooth certification codes also contain IN, CN and US – which look like country codes, suggesting variants for each market.

OLED screens for high-end models

Many believe that OnePlus will offer both LCD and OLED panels on the OnePlus TV. The LCD panels will be available on the lower-priced models whereas the OLED panel could be an option for the bigger sizes in select markets. Maybe the 75-inch variant or even a premium 55-inch variant would come with an OLED panel.

Smart Experience

Voice control, Integrated camera, Likely to be 4K HDR, Android-based. It’s a little early in the cycle to be talking about specs, but for a TV to be competitive, it really needs to be a 4K HDR panel.

OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau, has said that it will “develop its own image processing chipsets” and sets the benchmark at Sony’s image quality. “We believe your TV has the potential to be so much more than where you watch your favorite shows,” says Lau in the original forum post, but the specifics fall into other interviews.

It’s all about seamless integration between phone and TV so that there’s no complication getting content from your phone to your TV.

TV as a smart home controller

Likely to have Google Assistant or Alexa integration, Smart home hub. OnePlus have confirmed that it won’t be starting from scratch with its platform, it’s going to use a “mainstream provider” so that the TV fits into existing ecosystems. Just like Oxygen OS for its phones, there will be unique Android-based software powering the OnePlus TV.

OnePlus seems keen to towards smart home system, seeing the TV as not only a TV but also as a smart home hub.

OnePlus TV may launch in late September

It is possible that the OnePlus TV and the OnePlus 7T may launch at the same time. It all depends on when the products are ready. The OnePlus 7T leaks too have surfaced, but so far the indication is that the OnePlus TV is definitely ready for the launch while the OnePlus 7T is still in the works.

With its new products, and particularly with the OnePlus TV, the company may want to capitalize on the festive season in India that is going to be in October. Hence, there is the talk of OnePlus TV launching in late September or early October. Initially, the launch for the OnePlus TV in India was around May, when the cricket season starts.

71f37fc14d2fe1f380c49f4f3e4e376a OnePlus TV: Price, Screen sizes, OLED option, smart software and everything we know so far.

Finally how much will a OnePlus TV Cost?

OnePlus is saying that the TV will be premium. The company has aggressively priced before against established rivals like LG, Sony and Samsung. In an interview, Pete Lau described the TV as a “flagship killer” – hinting that the price will be designed to challenge the established rivals.

The truth is we really don’t know what the price yet, but we know that in India it will be available from Amazon and offline stores run by OnePlus. The model codes suggest India, China, and the US as launch locations – so it might be that.

OnePlus to launch another 5G smartphone in 2019, could be OnePlus 7T

OnePlus is reportedly working on its next 5G smartphone, which will be launched by the end of this year. This is around the same time that the next OnePlus flagship, most likely the OnePlus 7T series of smartphones, is expected to make an appearance.

OnePlus just confirmed the name of its TV which will be simply called ‘OnePlus TV’. The company also announced it will launch a 5G smartphone by the end of this year.

OnePlus 7T Pro Launch date

According to a recent leak, OnePlus 7T will launch on October 15. Although this isn’t official, the timeline for the launch is close to past OnePlus phones. Last year’s OnePlus 6T was launched in October, while OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 3T launched in the month of October.

OnePlus 7T Pro design

The smartphone has a bezel-less display with no notch or selfie camera cutout. A triple-camera setup was also spotted on the leaked OnePlus 7T Pro. The ‘T’ versions of OnePlus phone don’t bring much design changes. The improvements and upgrades usually happen under the hood. OnePlus 7T Pro could come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset.

OnePlus 5G smartphone

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau told that a new 5G smartphone will launch in Q4 (October-December) this year. This new OnePlus 5G phone will also be widely available, unlike the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.

Being the next flagship, the upcoming OnePlus devices will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855, but there is not much clarity on how they will differ from the existing OnePlus 7 line-up. The new OnePlus flagships are likely to carry pop-up selfie camera and under-screen fingerprint sensor from the OnePlus 7 Pro.

After the success in India and China, OnePlus has been trying to expand to other markets, like the US, facing stiff competition from players like Apple, Samsung and Huawei.

Real Madrid are ahead of Barcelona in LaLiga for the 1st time in 27 months

Barcelona suffered an opening day defeat to Athletic Club while 10-man Real Madrid won their LaLiga opener.

Zinedine Zidane’s side are ahead of the reigning champions for the first time since the final day of the 2016-17 season when Real lifted the title by a three-point margin.
Since that day, 21 May 2017, Barcelona have always had their greatest rivals in the rear-view mirror or at least been on a par, as they were in the first seven weeks of that season and again, very briefly, on the opening day of the 2017-18 campaign.
In total, 76 LaLiga fixtures have gone since Real Madrid last led Barcelona in the table.

Barcelona

Barcelona’s misery

Messi missed the LaLiga opener for Barcelona and it proved to be too costly as they lost 0-1 to Athletic Club. Messi is too important for Barcelona, rather any club in the world would miss a player of Messi’s almost unparalleled quality.
But for this Barcelona team, the Argentine’s presence is the difference between a top-class team and an average one.

Luis Suarez suffered an injury in the first half and new signing Antoine Griezmann was virtually anonymous. Ousmane Dembele looked lost and substitute Rafinha was unable to pick the Athletic lock.
Meanwhile, 38-year-old Aritz Aduriz scored a sensational bicycle kick to win the game for Athletic just 30 seconds after coming on as a substitute.

Real Madrid back on track

It seemed almost certain that Real Madrid would offload Gareth Bale this summer. But Hazard got injured and Bale was given a place in the starting line-up in the LaLiga opener. And it seems to be a blessing in disguise as Bale showed Real Madrid how good a player he is when he is fit. Zidane put the team before his pride and it paid off as the Welshman provided the crucial assist for the opening goal.

Casemiro praised Bale: “He [Bale] has given us titles, he’s scored in finals and he has a lot of respect from us all. He has to play. He’s a great player and is very important for us.”
Goalkeeper Courtois was also on Bale’s side: “He is an important player and played a great match. Everyone loves him and it is important that he plays for us. We are so happy with Bale.
Preseason was not easy for us, there were games in which we did not play well, but we knew we doing things right. We feel good, today we showed that. We played a good game and we went ahead with 10 players. That is key.
We knew that in the second half they were going to press us. In the one-on-one with Aspas I did well, made a good save. I have good reflexes and I got a hand to it. That helped give the team real confidence. We did well today but it is a shame not keep a clean sheet. We need to keep it up and work hard. Now we focus on Valladolid.”

Bale Real Madrid are ahead of Barcelona in LaLiga for the 1st time in 27 months

Club captain Sergio Ramos now has the fourth most wins as a Madridista in the competition. The captain is level with Gento, who won 283 games with the Whites in the competition. Ramos spoke about the Real Madrid’s league debut against Celta: “Getting a win away from home is a great start to the competition. We have to concentrate on what went right, on the good physical preparation we made in preseason. We came into the game in the best way possible. This result was fair and we saw a typical Real Madrid side today.
You have to move on. We cannot dwell on last season or celebrate the last good season we had. Today we start from scratch, we have great energy and enthusiasm. We are aiming to win all three competitions.”

Ramos

Ramos took 420 games to get to 283 wins in LaLiga, while Gento played 427 to get the same number. Ahead of those players sits Sanchis (312), Raul (327) and Casillas (334). This is the 15th edition of LaLiga for Ramos at Real Madrid. As a madridista, he has the seventh-best record of games in the competition, which he has won four times. His goal scoring record in LaLiga is 59 goals in total, with 2016/17 his best campaign (7 goals).

Toni Kroos also got his 100th win in LaLiga as a Madridista and scoring a great goal at Balaidos was an added pleasure. He made his debut in 2014 and reached this milestone in his sixth season with the club. So far, he has played 153 games in LaLiga and scored 12 goals (five against Celta). His best season in terms of league wins was 2014-15, as he won 28 games.

Zidane said after the match: “We talked about it before the match, I think we talked about it two or three times to say that he is going to stay. And all the players that are here now are only thinking about this season.
I think this is true considering the way Gareth performed, but not only Gareth. I think that everyone played a good game. All we have to do is to think about this season and I am sure that he and all the other players only think about staying here and play.”

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Gen processors spotted with 32 Cores & 20% Faster than 2990WX

0

After the launch of the successful Ryzen 3000 CPUs and the EPYC CPUs, it seems another CPU series is coming from the Red Team. Last year the 12nm 2nd gen Threadripper series made a huge difference in the high-performance desktop PC market.

Now as AMD is shifting rapidly to the 7nm process, so why should the Threadripper series be left out? From the latest leaks, it seems that AMD is gearing up for the launch of 3rd Gen Threadripper series.

AMD might possibly be testing the Geekbench scores of the CPU, in the meantime, TechPowerUp caught the specs of the CPU from the leaked database. The entry lists of an “AMD Sharkstooth” processor with 32 cores and 64 threads, and with a nominal clock speed of 3.60 GHz which we expect to increase for the retail unit.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Gen processors spotted with 32 Cores & 20% Faster than 2990WX

Being titled as “AMD 100-000000011-11”, it was tested on a prototype board developed by AMD codenamed as “WhiteHavenOC-CP”. The test was conducted using 128GB of DDR4 memory and on an x86 64-bit Linux kernel.

Though nothing is sure about this product being Threadripper based on Zen 2 architecture with the name and specs we are sure it’s not one of the products announced in the EPYC Rome lineup. So, expectedly this benchmark represents one of the Threadripper 3000 series CPU.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Gen processors spotted with 32 Cores & 20% Faster than 2990WX

As we see in the benchmarks, the unknown Threadripper CPU has 32 cores 64 threads along with 128MB of L3 cache scores 5677 points in single-core and 94772 points in multi-core. It is also within 5% of what the Xeon W-3175X manages (around 99,000 points).

This proves that this upcoming CPU is 18.5% faster than last year’s 2990WX under similar test conditions. Often termed to be “Castle Peak”, the 3rd generation of Threadrippers is expected to launch on the 7th of September 2019.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Gen processors spotted with 32 Cores & 20% Faster than 2990WX

The results from the benchmarks suggest that the improved 7nm process along with Zen 2 architectural improvements, the upcoming Threadripper series is going to give an impressive performance like its recently launched brothers.

AMD may use this opportunity to launch a new motherboard based on TR4 socket while maintaining backwards-compatibility with the AMD X399 chipset motherboards. This new chipset will enable PCI-E gen 4.0 and can come with stiffer CPU VRM and memory/PCIe wiring specifications to enable higher memory clocks and PCIe link stability.

Also these new Threadripper 3000 CPUs will have a TDP range of 250W and will be priced similarly to the last-gen Threadripper 2990WX at around $1,699.

Barcelona midfielder Coutinho has joined Bayern Munich on a season-long loan

Bayern Munich have signed Philippe Coutinho on a season-long loan from Barcelona with an option to buy the playmaker.

Philippe Coutinho moved to Camp Nou in a reported €160million deal from Liverpool in January 2018 but has since struggled to break through into the Barcelona starting XI and recreate the form he showed at Anfield.

Coutinho was linked with a move to PSG which would have also seen Neymar return to the Camp Nou. But Coutinho has instead joined Bayern Munich on loan with an option to buy.

Coutinho was not involved as LaLiga champions Barcelona suffered a surprise opening-day defeat to Athletic Bilbao on Friday, with the club’s official spokesman Guillermo Amor announcing prior to kick-off an agreement had been reached to send the former Liverpool man to Bayern.
Bayern Munich also got off to a similarly sluggish start to their Spanish counterparts, drawing 2-2 at home to Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga curtain-raiser.

Coutinho

Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic announced after the Bundesliga opener: “I can confirm that [Bayern chairman] Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and I have been in Barcelona this week and we have reached an agreement with Barcelona, with the player and his agent. We have had very good discussions, I would like to thank Barcelona.
Of course, there are still missing a few details, including the medical check and the signature. It is a transfer on loan for one year followed by a purchase option for Bayern.”

Salihamidzic continued: “Nowadays it is not easy in the transfer market. We tried very hard, it is clear that we want to offer our fans something spectacular. But to reinforce this team is not easy.
With Perisic, some will see that he is a really good player. Coutinho will offer us options; he can play in the middle or can come from the left. The fans can be happy.”

Coutinho

Niko Kovac told at a news conference after the draw with Hertha: “I am of the opinion that we – and I do not only refer to Bayern Munich but also to the whole Bundesliga, whole Germany – can be happy to welcome such a top player here in this league. He is a player that not only proved this in the clubs but also at the national team. If you look at the last Copa America, then you know what I am talking about. We are very delighted and I think he will fit well. He will show us what he is capable of – namely playing football very well.”

Valverde told Movistar about Coutinho following Barca’s disappointing LaLiga opener: “It is a situation that last season when the league ended the player had it in his head. This has come up, he has accepted and hopefully he is lucky.”

Robert Lewandowski also told reporters about Coutinho: “I don’t think he’ll need that much time to adapt to our system and ideas. I think he’s the sort of player that can settle in without many problems.”

Coutinho

Coutinho will help Bayern to replace James Rodriguez after his two-year loan from Real Madrid ended. The arrival of Coutinho will further help Bayern offset the departures of club legends Arjen Robben and Franck Riber.
Manchester City winger Leroy Sane had been a target, but Bayern’s attempt to pull off a deal was hindered by a serious knee injury sustained by the Germany international.

Coutinho will follow Ivan Perisic through the door, who has also joined Bayern on loan from Inter this week.
Mickael Cuisance has also passed his Bayern Munich medical and left Borussia Monchengladbach after the Bundesliga clubs reached a transfer agreement.

Dutee Chand clinched 100meter gold at the Fifth Indian Grand Prix.

0

The women’s 100m was a three-way race, the 200m had just two competitors and shot put had Paramjot Kaur as the lone competitor.

Indian sprinter Dutee Chand clocked 11.42 seconds to clinch the 100 metre gold at the Indian Grand Prix V. At the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NIS) on Friday.

Untitled design 46 Dutee Chand clinched 100meter gold at the Fifth Indian Grand Prix.

Dutee Chand was the only high-profile name in the field and expectedly won the 100m. In the fifh Indian Grand Prix at Patiala on Friday but for the rest of the events, it was a largely forgettable affair.

Tamil Nadu’s Archana Suseentran gave a stiff competition to Dutee, before taking the silver with a time of 11.53 while Punjab sprinter Manvir Kaur settled for the bronze with a timing of 12.28 seconds.

The event had been advanced by the Athletics Federation of India (earlier scheduled for September 1 in Chennai) to give participants a chance to improve their performances ahead of the Inter-state championships. It will also provide an additional chance to qualify for World Championships. But with the entry standards set low and top names missing, there was little hope of doing either.

Archana gave the 200m sprint her best and won the two-woman race in a career best time of 23.18 seconds but could not meet the World Championship qualification standard (23.02 seconds). Having finished second behind Dutee in the 100m, she returned to the track determined to make the half-lapper one to remember.

AFI secretary CK Valson said while the turnout of athletes was not surprising, as rescheduling the meet (from Chennai on September 1) was done keeping in mind that it was just after the inter-state, giving athletes virtually no time for IGP 5. He added the event wasn’t a failure as it was a preparatory event for the Inter-states ahead.

Zidane is ready to use James and Bale to take Real Madrid back to the top

Zidane seems happy to have James and Bale in his squad and is ready to take Real Madrid back to the winning ways.

Gareth Bale saw a move to Chinese club Jiangsu Suning collapse in July and looks set to stay at the Bernabeu, despite tenuous links to Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain refusing to go away.
Meanwhile, James Rodriguez is another player facing an uncertain future in the Spanish capital, having yet to feature for Madrid since returning from a two-year loan spell with Bayern Munich. Rodriguez has been linked with Napoli and Atletico Madrid but it seems he will also stay in the Bernabeu.

Zidane said at his pre-match news conference on Friday about Bale: “It seemed that he was going, but now he is with us. Things change and now I will be using him as much as the other players in the squad. I’m going to use all the players I’ve got.
He is registered with us and he is a good player. I hope all the players here want to make things difficult for me.”

James and Bale

Zidane also commented on James Rodriguez: “James is fit and we are happy to have him in the squad. I’ll repeat what I said before – I have a big squad and I’ll use all the players. They’re all happy to be here.”

Zidane was reappointed as the head coach of Real Madrid at the end of last season. He left Real Madrid after winning the 3rd Champions League of his reign at Kiev in 2018. After Real Madrid’s disastrous last season he has brought in a number of new players. The arrivals of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, Takefuso Kubo and Rodrygo Goes have strengthened the Real Madrid squad.

The transfer window remains open for Spanish clubs until 2nd September and there are continued links with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar. But Zidane was in no mood to entertain speculation regarding further incoming players.

Zidane

Zidane said: “Neymar is not a Real Madrid player. The important thing is the players that are here.
Paul is a player who plays for Manchester United, you must respect that.
I’m happy with the players I’ve got. I’m just focused on the game tomorrow, nothing else. We are ready and want to play a good game. I’ve got the best players, I’ve always said that. All I’m worried about is what we are going to do tomorrow. We want this to start now. We think about starting La Liga. We’re happy.”

Real Madrid starts their LaLiga campaign against Celta Vigo on Saturday. Zidane said: “There will always be pessimists. Real Madrid will always have these things. Whether there are good results or not, people will always argue about things. We need our fans to be with us, as they always are. We will try to make things exciting for the fans by playing good football. That’s all we can do.
We want to start and here we are. We’ve had our final training session and we want to get this league started. We are very happy to begin and we’re ready. I want to play well and get results. That’s what I’m most worried about. The most important thing for me is what we do on the pitch.
We try to do things well as a team together. If we do that, we will win as a team. I prefer it if we play well because it’s important to do that at Real Madrid.”

Real Madrid

Zidane further added: “We can’t talk about other things we can’t affect. You can talk about other players if you like but I’m going to focus on tomorrow. I am what I am. Sometimes we all have changes of mood when things don’t go right, but I’m not going to waste time. I’m smiling, I’m happy because we love football. We are very lucky to do this. I don’t think about the past, what we have won because football is about what is coming up in the future.
If I had to think coming back was a risk, it would not be an easy thing to do. I don’t think about the criticism, it’s all part of the job. It’s part of life of a coach.
I know where I’m going and what I want from my players, I know what I want on the pitch. We have to be competitive, win matches and win titles. We have to do that throughout the season.”
