Acer Nitro 5 is one of the most popular gaming laptop series and we all know how much value the Nitro 5 laptops provide at cheap price point. Acer has always updated its Nitro 5 series with latest AMD and Intel hardware, paired with NVIDIA GPUs.
So, when new laptop gaming processors are out from both Team Red and Blue, the company will be updating its laptop with these new CPUs. Acer Nitro 5 will be upgrading to Intel Comet Lake H CPUs like Core i7-10750H and the new AMD Ryzen 4000H Renoir APUs like Ryzen 7 4800H.
As NotebookCheck points out the Intel model will be provided with the best GPU option i.e. the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, however, the GPU will not be available in combination with the AMD APUs. With the AMD processors, Acer will only offer Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU.
The AMD model will only be available with 15.6 inch display and the 17 inch display stays exclusive with the Intel model. Obviously, AMD models will be cheaper in comparison to the Intel ones, the Acer Nitro 5 2020 will be available in Europe in June, both the Intel and the AMD laptops will have a starting price of €899.
Real Madrid has been a long admirer of Kylian Mbappe and they have made their wish public of bringing the Frenchman to the Bernabeu. Mbappe has also given some hints of joining Madrid after he refused to sign a contract extension with PSG. The current contract keeps him at Parc des Princes till 2021.
PSG initially signed Mbappe on loan from Monaco. They made the deal permanent for €180m a year later, making him the second most expensive signing in history behind €222m team-mate Neymar.
Yvan Le Mee, who has brokered deals for Madrid signings such as Ferland Mendy and Julien Faubert, thinks a move to the Spanish capital was on the cards before the Coronavirus pandemic brought the football season to a halt.
Le Mee told Marca: “Mbappe, in a normal context, without this horrible virus or the economic problem that’s coming, we could think he was going to sign for Madrid this summer.”
“It doesn’t seem as though he’s going to renew and he has two years left on his contract. But with all this, it seems impossible that a club is going to spend now what Mbappe costs. Because if Neymar is worth 222million, Kylian is worth 300million, because he is younger and just as good, incredible.”
“He’s going to be the best striker in the world and I think he’s going to want to play for the best club in the world, which is Madrid, and for one of his idols to coach him, which is [Zinedine] Zidane.”
“Plus, today, there is no great competition in Madrid’s attack. That’s where they have a greater demand. They have a great like [Karim] Benzema, but he is going into the last years of his career. Today, there is more competition in PSG’s attack than in Madrid’s and I’m sure he’d find his place without any problem.”
“This year, there won’t be any big transfers because they are not going to do crazy things, and I think it will come after the Euros.”

The Tainwanese giant is known for its mid-range VivoBook 14 series which gives decent specs at reasonable price point. So it seems Asus will be updating its VivoBook 14 series with the latest processors.
Pointed by the tipster @_rogame, the Asus VivoBook 14 is said to be offering the new AMD Ryzen 5 4500U and Ryzen 7 4700U APUs. Also, these laptops will be featuring 8GB or 16GB LPDDR4 RAM running at 3200Mhz, along with 256GB or 512GB SSD storage from Western Digital and Samsung, respectively.
Asus VivoBook 14
AMD version : > R7 4700U or R5 4500U > 8GB or 16GB LPDDR4 3200MHz > 256GB WD PC SN520 or 512GB Samsung PM991 NVMe SSD
Intel version (for now): > 2.7GHz TigerLake-U ES (likely i7-1165G7) > Nvidia MX350
The RX Vega integrated graphics is quite powerful, not wasting on any dedicated GPU seems wise by Asus. So, the new VivoBook 14 series powered by the Ryzen 4000 mobile processors should both be efficient and powerful, coming at much lower costs than Intel.
While @_rogame claims that Asus has also manufactured a Tiger Lake-U model too namely the Core i7-1165G7 which interestingly will pair with NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics. This will make the device costly and it seems strange for Asus to opt for a dedicated GPU as Intel promises that the Gen12 graphics will be powerful from last-gen.
HP has refreshed its 13.3-inch Envy 13 clamshell and Envy x360 13 with new designs and CPUs this summer. The company has used the latest Ice Lake CPUs and AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile processors.
Talking about the HP Envy 13 2020 clamshell, HP has trimmed the thicker bezels for a higher screen-to-body ratio and a smaller footprint. The 2020 model measures just 194.6 mm in length compared to 211.5 mm on the 2019 model.
As for now, we see the new model running on Intel Core i7-1065G7 with 8 GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 256 GB NVMe M.2 SSD. The display is a 13.3-inch FHD IPS panel with multi-touch support, Wi-Fi 6 and battery backup of 15 hours. Soon other cheaper models will also be available with lower configs, with a starting price of $1000 from this May.
On the other hand, the Envy x360 13 convertible have a similar deign like previous gen but now like the clamshell design, dropped the upward-firing speakers with much more sleek bezels and the laptop ports have been rearranged.
The Ryzen 7 3700U processor gets upgraded to the new 8 core Ryzen 7 4700U gives better CPU and GPU performance overall which makes this portable 2-in-1 faster than the Intel Ice Lake part at just 15 W TDP. It is paired with 8 GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD.
Xiaomi is reportedly working on a clamshell design smartphone just like Samsung Galaxy Z Flip the new Motorola Razr. Last year Xiaomi showcased a tri-fold smartphone prototype with its design that never came out officially. Now, according to a new report from ZDNet Korea, citing electronic component industry insiders, Xiaomi is seeking the help of Samsung and LG for OLED displays to help them to build a foldable smartphone-like Samsung and Motorola.
The report mentions that Xiaomi has approached Samsung Display for a clamshell flexible OLED display, the one that is used on the Galaxy Z Flip with an ultra-thin glass OLED panel underneath a layer of plastic. However, Xiaomi has also knocked the doors of LG for the OLED displays for the same reason.

The reports also claim that foldable panels from BOE and CSOT are inferior in quality compared to those from Samsung Display and it could be why Xiaomi hasn’t approached them. Though it is totally insider news and we have no proper evidence for this particular information.
Unfortunately, details regarding the hardware specifications are scarce at the moment. But we do know that the mass production of the foldable smartphone will start in late 2020. We still do not know Xiaomi is getting the OLED panel from which company, but once this is fixed the company will start the production and we can see the device by the end of 2021.
From the beginning of this pandemic, very few industries are getting positive impacts. Gaming is one of those. Maximum people, especially young stars, find their entertainment in mobile or PC games, besides spending time on online video streaming platforms. By merging these two, Facebook already releases its Gaming Mobile App.
Interface
First coming to the interface part. As it is a product of Facebook, a trace of the Facebook App is there. At first, you need to log in with your Facebook account after installation. At the bottom, you will find four options i.e feed, instant games, explore, and message section. No matter which option you select, a fixed bar with the “facebook gaming” tag, a search option, notification, and my profile options will be there at the top.
👀 Feed
At the feed, the posts and live streams will be displays of whom you are following. You can react to them, lave comments or share with your friends, as usual. A dedicated button is added at the bottom right to let you start live stream easily. Before that, you need to add your games to the stream list. Lastly, a sliding bar with five options Go Live, Following, Follow Games, Clips, and Groups is there just down to the sticky tab.
👀 Explore
You will find plenty of sections and options here. In a gist, you can find all streamers, games, groups and live streams from here.
👀 Instant Games
In this section, a game banner with Tap to Play option will there at the top. Following lists named Recently Played, Games Your Friends Are Playing, and Categories.
👀 Message Section
You can chat with your Facebook friends from here and can suggest or invite for a game.
Virtual Currency: Stars
To encourage the streamers, Facebook introduced Stars. Viewers can donate these stars or redeem to purchases virtual gifts. These gifts also for donation.
You need to purchase the Stars. The price list starts with ₹170 for 95 Stars and ends ₹8,400 for 6,400 Stars. Payment methods available are Net Banking, UPI, Credit Card, and Debit Card. You can also use your Google Play Balance. The Starts doesn’t have any expiry date. So, you can stay headache-free about it.
Facebook pays 1 cent for one Star. That means to get $1, you need to get 100 Stars. This can be a small income for the streamers. It will also boost the next generation to choose gaming as a profession.
Streaming
You will get a total of three options to start your streaming. At the feed page, a button to the downright, “Go Live” option to the top slidable bar. The last one is at the “My Profile” section. As I mentioned earlier, before the first stream you need to add the game to the stream list.
During the live stream, a small icon of Facebook Live stays on the screen. This confirms you are on live stream.
Conclusion
Facebook Gaming is the handiest one for game streaming. Especially, who tried a lot for it before, but failed. Besides, it will pretty much easy to arrange viewers than YouTube or other platforms. The virtual currency, Star is also a good addition to attract more players for streaming. Overall this is a very good start and expecting more improvements in Facebook Gaming.
Real Madrid signed Gareth Bale for a then-record transfer fee of €100m from Tottenham Hotspur. It has been a roller coaster ride for Bale since joining Madrid.
His stay at the Bernabeu has been marred by various injuries, although his trophy cabinet is on the verge of overflowing with four Champions Leagues, one LaLiga and one Copa del Rey trophies.
He had an important role in winning all the trophies like for example, Bale missed out much of the 2017-18 Champions League season due to injury and being second fiddle to Isco. But when he was brought on in the second half in the final, he completely turned the game around with a brilliant bicycle kick and a long-range shot, eventually beating Liverpool 3-1 to lift their third successive Champions League trophy.
Bale was earmarked to be the successor of Cristiano Ronaldo. But he has failed to win the hearts of the Madridistas and now Madrid have brought in Hazard to fill the void of Ronaldo. Bale’s relation with Zidane is also a matter of concern and in each transfer window, it is rumoured that Bale is going to leave the Spanish capital. Bale’s preference for golf has also created huge controversies in the past.
Amid all these controversies, Bale has revealed that he is still a Tottenham fan and follows them. This has created whole new transfer speculations of him returning to Tottenham where he played between 2007 and 2013.
Bale told BT Sport: “Everybody loves tuning in to watch the Champions League final, and obviously Tottenham were there so I had a very keen interest, I was hoping they’d get to the final like they did. They had some great matches on the way, obviously in the semi-final [against Ajax].”
“For us Tottenham fans it was a bit disappointing in the final, but you have to look at the bigger picture. They did great to get there and gave a good account of themselves.”
Bale chose scoring and beating Atletico Madrid to clinch La Decima six years ago as his favourite moment. He said: “They all have their own special moments. The first one is always so special because I’d never won a trophy before and you don’t know the experience, excitement and euphoria you get from lifting the trophy. Winning in my home city was an incredible moment for me personally because not many people get to do that.”
“Then the last final [against Liverpool] I played in I scored that goal and for it to be the winning goal was also special. It’s difficult to pick one but in terms of the overall experience, I’d go for the first one because it was the first final and I didn’t expect what was coming, the nerves of it and how we won it in the last minute.”
“The celebrations were something I’d never experienced before. Everything was just new, so it was really exciting and it made it so special.”

Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of the largest social media platform Facebook, has revealed that they are going to invest in Reliance Jio which is an Indian telecommunications company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries. The investment amount sums to $5.7 Billion or Rs.43,574 crore for a 9.99% stake.
Both companies in separate statements mentioned that they will work together on some major projects that will open up commerce opportunities for people across India. Zuckerberg said India is the home to the largest communities on Facebook and WhatsApp and where Jio has played a big part in the digital revolution which is going in India.
Mark Zuckerberg mentioned in his Facebook post why they are partnering with the Reliance Jio group and investing in that particular telecom business. The post is here.
“Reliance Industries Limited, Jio Platforms Limited and Facebook, Inc. today announced the signing of binding agreements for an investment of Rs43,574 crore by Facebook into Jio Platforms,” RIL said in a statement today.
“This investment by Facebook values Jio Platforms at Rs4.62 lakh crore pre-money enterprise value ($65.95 billion, assuming a conversion rate of Rs70 to a US Dollar). Facebook’s investment will translate into a 9.99% equity stake in Jio Platforms on a fully diluted basis,” they also added.
Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, said in a video “Our goal is to enable new opportunities for businesses of all sizes, but especially for the more than 60 million small businesses across India. They account for the majority of jobs in the country and form the heart and soul of rural and urban communities alike.”
He also added, “In the face of the coronavirus, it is important that we both combat this global pandemic now, and lay the groundwork to help people and businesses in the years to come,”
Mr. Ambani’s Reliance Industries is also set to sell a fifth of its oil and chemical refining business to Saudi Aramco for roughly $15 billion (roughly Rs. 1.15 lakh crores), and a stake in its telecom tower assets to Canadian private equity firm Brookfield Asset Management for over $3 Billion (roughly Rs. 23,000 crores).
For Reliance, whose debt pile swelled to more than $40 billion as of September, the partnership will bring in much-needed funds to make good on its promise to cut net debt to zero by March 2021.
