The Chinese smartphone giant has been expanding its portfolio through huge investments on its R&D in China and eventually launching a wide range of smart products. Xiaomi has also been to computing with its laptops and monitors in China, now it seems they want to expand their routes to Europe as well.
Originally launched last year as Mi Surface Display, the new Mi Curved Gaming Monitor has been announced in Europe for a decent price of €399. This is a massive 34-inch monitor that too is a curved one and at its price, it really gives some cool specs, and as curved gaming monitor market in Northern America and Europe is on the rise, Xiaomi made a good move to actually showcase their product globally.
The Mi Curved Gaming Monitor is a gigantic 34-inch curved gaming monitor with 21:9 aspect ratio. This huge display has 3440 x 1440 pixel screen resolution with 144Hz refresh rate and 1500R curvature. As it has 300 nits of peak brightness and lacks HDR support, most probably this is a VA panel.
It supports AMD FreeSync, also features a low Blu-ray mode and the monitor has a colour gamut of 121% sRGB. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the screen can be lifted and rotated around the stand which can magnetically be mounted to the display.
So, this a curved 2K display packed all the modern features and has a high refresh rate for gamers to enjoy upon. Though Xiaomi did not officially reveal the reports indicate that the display has been provided by Samsung.
Hope you all are aware of the Amazon Go. If not, it’s basically a store where you can avoid the checkout lines on your busy day as hundreds of cameras on the ceiling automatically does the same when you pick any item up. The Dash Cart by Amazon is the mobile version of it.
Amazon revealed the Dash Cart a day before today that is a modern form of the usual shopping cart. It can scan the items you put inside it and make easier the billing procedure than before. As I mentioned earlier, it is a mobile version of the Amazon Go, or you can also say an on the wheel version.
“Our primary motivation for building this was to be able to save customers time. The alternative solutions are standing in the express checkout lanes or fumbling through self-checkout stations.”– as pr Dilip Kumar, the Vice President of Physical Retail and Technology, Amazon.
This technology was firstly introduced at Amazon’s Woodland Hill, California, grocery store. In the stores, Amazon will keep both the Dash Carts along with the older normal version of it. Though there is a very high chance that the technology-enabled Dash Carts will take the place of normal old version shopping carts.
At present we are moving forward to setting up the 5G technology, here, in India. Today, in the Reliance AGM we already get so many discussions on it. But, just a day before, yesterday, Samsung released a white paper with the heading “The Next Hyper-Connected Experience for All” and it contains the companies vision for the 6G connectivity, the next generation communication system.
The Head of the Advanced Communication Research Center, Sunghyun Choi explained, “While 5G commercialization is still in its initial stage, it’s never too early to start preparing for 6G because it typically takes around 10 years from the start of research to commercialization of a new generation of communication technology,” He also added, “We’ve already launched the research and development of 6G technologies by building upon the experience and ability we have accumulated from working on multiple generations of communications technology, including 5G. Going forward, we are committed to leading the standardization of 6G in collaboration with various stakeholders across industry, academia and government fields.”
The Korean giant is expecting to complete the research and commercialize 6G within 2028, and commercialize it in a mass scale within around 2030. As per them, the 6G technology can bring to us a peak data rate of 1,000 Gbps, 50 times of 5G and less than 100 microseconds of air latency, that’s one-tenth of 5G.
In the published white paper, Samsung also mentioned some technologies that could be needed to reach the 6G scale. Those are terahertz frequency band, novel antenna technology, advanced duplex technologies, network topology evolution, spectrum sharing, and lastly the use of AI in this field.

Keeping this in mind, Sony is boosting its PS5 production by 50%, at least the Japanese presses say that.
We all are very much aware of the arrival of Sony’s PlayStation 5. The company was planned to produce around 6 million PS5 consoles in 2020. But, after analyzing the current situation and upcoming demand it decided to excel the limit by 50%, which means to produce 9 million units. Some of the presses also said this could reach 10 million too.
The predecessor if it, PlayStation 4 was sold more than 4.2 million units within a month of its launch, back in 2013. No need to say, Sony is aiming more demand than before. On the other hand, Facebook also is doing the same for the production of Oculus VR headsets. It extended the production by 2 million units in total, which is nearly 50 percent increase.
Due to the pandemic issues, there are problems in the supply section, that can affect the sale of both these mentioned products. We have to wait to see what happens next.
A few days ago a tweet from Max Weinbach, a famous tipster, gave an information that Samsung will not launch the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in its UNPACKED event on August 5. But a recent report claims that the previous information is false.
According to Ross Young, the Founder, and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be a part of the UNPACKED event of Samsung on August 5. But the phone will start shipping as late as early October. He has also revealed the specification of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. This time Max Weinbach has also retweeted correcting his previous statement.

Samsung is expected to have a loaded Unpacked event, featuring the Galaxy Note 20 series with three phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, the Galaxy Buds Live, and a pair of Galaxy Tab S7 models. Though all the launch details are not official, we think these are the list of devices Samsung will launch in the event.
The news I got is that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is still released on August 5th and will be sold on September 20th (China)
Here is another piece of information from Ice universe claiming that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will launch on August 5 but instead of early October shipment it will be sold on September 20 in China. According to Ross Young, the phone will be shipped in early October so this can be the dates for the global shipment but the case for the Chinese market seems to be different.
Technically we have already seen the renders of the Google Pixel 4a and now there is also another small mistake done by Google’s Canadian store page where an image of the Nest WiFi should have been shown and the focus was meant to be on the WiFi technology. The banner image accidentally showed the Pixel 4a and that too in the black colour variant.
We have seen renders from various places that suggested that the Pixel 4a will have a single rear camera in a square glass design. The renders also suggested that there will be a punch hole selfie camera cut at the left top corner of the device. But we wanted some official confirmation all this time and now we got that confirmation but indirectly.
The date on the screen of the smartphone mentioned is “Thursday, May 12”. This means that Google was planning to launch this device in the Google annual I/O 2020 but now the launch has been pushed back due to the cancellation of the event.

Nubia is going to unveil the next flagship addition in the flagship Red Magic 5G smartphone series. This time the company’s president has shared an image which hints the upcoming launch of the Red Magic 5S. The image shared by company president does not reveal any other details of the smartphone. The launch date has not been revealed yet. There has been a lot of rumours about Messi’s contract extension and even his stay at the Catalan club in the past few weeks. Obviously, the club’s disagreement and the conflict between the captain and the board has been ruomoured for quite some time now and to be clear about that his best friend on and off the pitch Luis Saurez has opened up.
In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Saurez was asked about Lionel Messi and does he see him in some other team, so he said:
“I don’t see him in any team other than Barça. The decision Leo makes is going to be made always thinking about his and his family’s good. Sometimes we are all bad because we lose and we are letting a League escape and there are times when you think about anything, but being your friend, I will always recommend you to be where you feel comfortable and happy, and if you are happy in Barcelona, keep him in Barcelona. The announcement was made a few days back. To implement the new anti-cheat measures, the company is using the existing “Spectate Mode” and adds a “pee-review mechanism” on top of that. Now, during any gameplay, the game server can “determine in real-time if a given player is visible in the view of the game host”. Then it will decide whether it needs to transmit the location data to the game spectator.
There are two aspects the authority is focusing on. The first one is obviously to discourage the players to perform cheating, and the second one is to “identify and eliminate suspicious behaviors elsewhere in the game.”
As you can see, three main parts or roles over there in this entire process. These three are the host, the game server, and lastly the spectator. Earlier, some cheaters had used the spectate mode wrongly. They use two devices, in the second one they generally located other player locations taking advantage of the spectate mode.
There is another thing, the company fixed is “an ongoing cheat” through which the cheaters can kill opponents with a single shot. The PUBG authority said, “Through player feedback, we have recently discovered a new cheat that one-shot kills players then invert’s their screen momentarily. The official team immediately went into action and tracked players who have used this cheat. Over 10,000 players have been issued a 10-year ban from the Operations team for harming the gaming environment.”
