FIFA 21: Full analysis of the new gameplay features EA Sports are bringing in to the game

0

EA Sports has released the official gameplay trailer of FIFA 21 on Tuesday. It has brought a whole new range of changes in gameplay. Check out the trailer first, then we will give you a full analysis of the new gameplay features available in FIFA 21.

So here’s the gameplay features which EA Sports are bringing in FIFA 21:

Agile Dribbling

Agile dribbling lets you have close control of the ball so that you can dazzle your opponent with some extraordinary skill moves. You can also use the muscle of your defender to stop an attack. Pressing the R1 or RB button on your controller will help you in agile dribbling.

Creative Runs

Now, you don’t have to rely on AI for making creative runs with your players. You can control the creative runs by pressing L1 or LB and then giving the direction with R stick. Or you can also lock the control to one player and take matters into your own hands.

Positioning Awareness

The world-class players are always in the best positions at any moment of the game. So, EA Sports has now improved the positioning awareness of the players. In real life, Aguero holds his run to stay onside, De Bruyne slides into free space, Fabinho cut off passing lanes and Van Dijk puts his body in the path of the ball. So from now on, we will see more real-life things like these in FIFA.

Natural Collision System

Unlike FIFA 20, the players will not fall over when coming in contact with other players. It will have a more natural outcome based on who gets to the ball first.

Fundamentals of Football

EA Sports has also improved the fundamentals of football. You can now turn on manual headers and head the ball into the net just as you wish to. You will also have more effective long through balls, feeding your teammates into free space.

Competitor Mode

You can play against the best players around the world and take it beyond Legendary and Ultimate difficulty.

Gameplay Rewind

This is one of the main new features which EA has introduced into the game. This feature will be available in Kick-off mode. If you miss a shot first time, you can just rewind the game and have a go for the second time to hit a perfect shot.

FIFA 21 is going to release on 9th October worldwide but you can pre-order the game to get early access.

VIVO backs out as the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League (IPL)

BCCI had officially announced that IPL 2020 will start from 19th September in UAE. The final will be held on 10th November. BCCI also confirmed that VIVO will remain the title sponsor of IPL 2020.

But surprisingly, a report has come out that VIVO is pulling out as the title sponsor of Indian Premier League (IPL). VIVO had a five-year contract of Rs 2,199 crore since 2018. But now VIVO has decided to back out from IPL due to the social media backlash it received for being a Chinese company. The Indian government has already banned many Chinese apps in India.

vivo ipl

According to a report by TOI, well-placed sources confirmed the development on Tuesday saying: “Vivo is going to have to exit the league this year and that looks certain now. How that happens is going to depend on how BCCI and Vivo negotiate the matter. The company (Vivo) has had its own share of issues and the BCCI has optics to deal with, given the political climate. They have to come to some understanding here because legal options can’t be considered in this case”.

One of the IPL franchises informed the other seven franchises about this pull out by VIVO. BCCI is unhappy with the way the said IPL franchise handled the issue. They think the franchise should have come to them first. But now the more pressing issue on hand for BCCI is to validate the claim and to see if VIVO is pulling out temporarily or permanently.

In this time of financial crisis due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it would be hard to find a new sponsor who will agree to such a massive deal. It seems BCCI would have to settle for less which will result in a loss of revenue.

The IPL 2020 has been already finalised, so it will be a real headache for BCCI to quickly find another sponsor and carry out the tournament as planned.

The upcoming Intel Tiger Lake CPUs beat AMD Ryzen 4000U in single-core performance

0

In the coming days, Intel will be launching their 11th Gen Tiger Lake CPUs officially based out of 10nm++ architecture. We have seen few leaks of these CPUs previously, but a new leak from @TUM_APISAK again has shown Intel’s disadvantage when it comes to multi-thread performance.

However, like the previous 3DMark leak, the upcoming Core i7-1165G7 processor has an edge over AMD’s best Ryzen 7 4800U APU in terms of single-core performance. The Intel CPU features four Willow Cove cores with 2.8 GHz clock speed, while the AMD one features eight Zen 2 cores with just 1.8 GHz base clock.

Screenshot 53 The upcoming Intel Tiger Lake CPUs beat AMD Ryzen 4000U in single-core performance

Undoubtedly AMD should win in multi-thread scores because of its double cores and threads. According to PassMark, the Intel Core i7-1165G7’s had a better single-core score of 3,273 points, because of better base clock frequencies.

Whereas, the Ryzen 7 4800U in the single-core test scored only 2,631 points which is almost 24.4% lower than the Core i7-1165G7. However these results based on just one entry on PassMark, so take this with a pinch of salt.

Screenshot 54 The upcoming Intel Tiger Lake CPUs beat AMD Ryzen 4000U in single-core performance

PassMark has even rated the AMD Ryzen 7 4800U with an overall score of 17,552 points whereas the Core i7-1165G7 with 13,372 points. The scores for Intel are quite respectable but the octa-core processor, which cannot be seen in the market that much, performs up to 31.3% better than the Core i7-1165G7.

A lot of Ice Lake specs and laptops bearing it has been leaked already, so soon Intel brings something to restrict AMD’s dominance, and hopefully, it’s going to be announced next month itself.

Still, AMD holds the lead when it comes to price-to-performance ratio, but there are two things that AMD has to concern – improve 7nm stocks along with making the Ryzen 7 4800U more available and be wary of Intel’s upcoming inbuilt Xe graphics.

As per the company Apple’s voice assistant, Siri is the main reason for the step. Xiao-i applied for the patent in 2004 and was granted in 2009. Apple didn’t react to it yet.
