AMD’s monstrous Ryzen 9 3950X is already announced and will be available from November 25th. The 16 core CPU has a lot of PC enthusiasts gone crazy for it already and its leaked performance says it all, this CPU is capable to take on Intel’s flagship CPUs including the HEDT ones well.
The leaked benchmarks say that the first pre-built system to feature this monstrous CPU will be Dell’s gaming brand Alienware. It seems surprising to me that Alienware, who has been focussed to make gaming PCs clinging on to Intel CPUs shifting to AMD and be the first one to do so. Even its latest gaming PC offering is powered by Intel’s 9th Gen Coffee Lake chips.
If that so, so be it, one thing is clear that OEMs are more likely changing their path or rather considering AMD CPU for gaming as well. Now according to the leaked Geekbench scores, it seems that Dell’s latest Alienware Aurora lineup will feature the Matisse flagship.
As the benchmark suggests that this will be a special Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition and not just any Ryzen but the flagship one. We can also expect the series to be featuring all the 3rd gen Ryzen chips, making an exclusive Ryzen lineup of gaming PCs, giving the choice to the consumers to choose accordingly.
The Ryzen 9 3950X features 16 cores and 32 threads, comes with a base clock speed of 3.5GHz and boost up to 4.7GHz. Also, it features a huge cache memory of 72 MB and a TDP envelope of 105W. And as we see in the benchmarks, the flagship desktop CPU beats the HEDT processor – the 165W Cascade lake Core i9-10980XE in few of the benchmarks and equals it in some of them.
The chip has been paired with an X570 motherboard and is coupled with 32GB of DDR4 memory. Clearly we see how the Ryzen system outperforms the Intel Cascade Lake flagship, the Core i9-10980XE based PC.
Even though costing $749, this CPU is a bang on budget, either in pre-built systems or to be used in custom PCs the Matisse flagship just nails its age-old competition with Intel. The availability of Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition is still unclear, maybe it can be announced after the market availability of the CPU starts i.e. on November 25 or in CES 2020.
The Red team recently announced their consumer-oriented flagship CPU – the Ryzen 9 3950X that features 16 cores and 32 threads. This $749 CPU which will be available in few days sets a new benchmark against Intel.
Intel’s latest HEDT processor Core i9-10980XE is here and how well does it compare to the new Threadripper CPUs? Well even though we do not know what exactly but what it suggests now is that the lower-priced consumer end Ryzen 9 3950X is able to beat Intel’s flagship 18 core HEDT processor.
A few days ago, AMD launched their 3rd Gen Ryzen Threadripper CPUs with 24 cores and 32 cores along with Athlon 3000G APU. Not even close to the new Threadripper CPUs, the Intel Cascade Lake X CPU has failed to beat the consumer flagship 16 core Ryzen 9.
According to early benchmarks, the Ryzen 9 3950X offers a comparable performance against Intel’s HEDT flagship, the Core i9-10980XE. Though the comparison between the two doesn’t seem fair enough as the i9-10980XE is priced at around $1000 and the Ryzen counterpart is cheaper.
After a decade now, AMD’s superiority is being reflected and truly the 7nm architecture has boosted its performance. In Geekbench 4, the Ryzen 9 3950X manages to edge past the Core i9-10980XE, the Ryzen scores 5570 in the single score while Intel barely manages to score 5453.
In spite of featuring 36 threads, the i9-10980XE CPU scored 51180 only while the Ryzen CPU did score a healthy 52098 with its 32 threads. This is truly amazing since a desktop-level CPU is beating a flagship HEDT CPU even though being priced less.
Even in Geekbench 5, AMD’s superiority has been noticed against the Core i9-9980XE, the Ryzen 9 scoring 1363 and 16722 in single- and multi-core tests, respectively. These scores easily beat the Core i9-9980XE’s scores of 1205 and 15823 in the same tests.
Even though being focussed to satisfy desktop users who need more cores for content creation and heavy workloads, the Ryzen 9 3950X performs better or is on par with the Cascade Lake flagship. Being a HEDT CPU the Core i9-10980XE will enjoy its own benefits that the Ryzen 9 3950X cannot provide you with.
Losing out in the memory benchmarks doesn’t matter for a consumer-level CPU but what excites me most is the performance that this new $749 CPU will give you. If this CPU can be beastly, imagine how well the 3rd Gen Ryzen Threadrippers will be.
Launched a few weeks back, the new Navi based Radeon GPU is exclusively available for OEMs i.e. for pre-built PCs and laptops. Already being featured in MSI’s Alpha 15 the new Navi GPU is on a trend already.
Recently, a leaked sales guide by AMD has been flooding online which gives a good idea of this card’s real-world gaming performance and some benchmarks against its competitor GTX 1650. AMD’s marketing team is lining up this budget GPU against NVIDIA’s current budget GPU i.e. the GeForce GTX 1650.
Not comparing the GPU with the likes of GTX 1660 or 1660 Ti, AMD wants to show how it totally dominates NVIDIA’s counterpart. The leaked sales guide compares the RX 5500 with the GTX 1650 in numerous modern gaming titles including eSports and triple-A ones.
Being powered by RDNA architecture, the Radeon RX 5500 provides up to 1.6X higher gaming performance-per-watt than current Radeon graphics cards based on the Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture.
The RX 5500 and RX 5500M cards will ship with 22 CUs, 14 fewer CUs (-39%) than the next card in AMD’s stack, the Radeon RX 5700. The new GPUs have higher clock speeds carrying a maximum game clock of 1717MHz, 92MHz (6%) higher than the RX 5700, also the maximum boost clock is higher as well, of 1845MHz.
The RX 5500 series will have a peak compute/shader throughput of 5.2 TFLOPs and will come with a 128-bit memory bus. AMD will be using the faster GDDR6 memory and a 224GB/sec memory bandwidth.
The desktop GPUs will have both 4GB and 8GB of VRAM options. AMD’s product pages list the Radeon 5500 series with a 110W TDP and AMD has recommended a single 8-pin power connector for them to boot.
Talking about the RX 5500M, it has similar specs like the desktop variants, it will have a base clock speed of 1.4GHz and 1.64GHz boost. It will feature 4GB of VRAM and a lower 4.6TFLOPs, rest all specs remains the same.
As per the sales guide, the RX 5500 provides up to 75% more frames per second (fps) in Battlefield 5 and up to 85% more in World War Z against GTX 1650. In other titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Grand Theft Auto V, the AMD GPU provides up to 49% better performance than Nvidia’s SKU.
Overall in modern triple-A games, this GPU attains 60+ FPS in each of the titles. Also, it attains even 100+ FPS in some titles depending upon the preset (high, medium or ultra and other settings).
Coming to the eSports titles, the AMD GPU just blows the NVIDIA counterpart by huge margins. The Radeon RX 5500 can churn out 90 fps in titles like Fortnite (high), Apex Legends (ultra-high), and PUBG (high).
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 struggles to keep up and loses in all eSports games including Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege. On an average, AMD card scores up to 37% better than NVIDIA’s budget card.
Also, with support for features like FidelityFX, AMD FreeSync, Anti-Lag, and Image Sharpening, this GPU is a modern and capable one for 1080p gaming. The GDDR6 memory really pushes the GPU’s performance, it will be interesting to see how it competes against the likes of the upcoming GTX 1650 Super.
Overall as per the sales guide the new RX 5500 seems great honestly in that budget segment. Even though the price has not been leaked, still we can hope it to be priced similar to GTX 1650.
Messi scored a hat-trick against Celta Vigo to take his tally to 34 equalling Cristiano Ronaldo’s record.
To date, Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo had the record for the most no of LaLiga hat-tricks scored. He scored an astonishing 34 hat-tricks in his 9 seasons at Madrid.
Lionel Messi scored a penalty and two free-kicks in Barcelona’s 4-1 win over Celta Vigo, to match Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 34 LaLiga hat-tricks. The win helped Barcelona to ease back to the top of the table after a tough week in which they lost to Levante in LaLiga and then drew with Sparta Prague in the Champions League.
✅ Penalty kick goal ✅ Free kick goal ✅ Free kick goal#Messi has a set piece hat trick! 🤯🤯🤯
Barcelona head coach Valverde commented about the Argentina international’s importance, telling reporters: “It’s impossible not to depend on Messi. That’s how it works. He lights up everything. Today we were fluent and he scored three times. It is an advantage that we have, that our opponents fear and that is fine. When we win, we all win. Those who play are many, besides Leo. Everyone does their job.”
Valverde also admitted the defeat at Levante created an unsettled atmosphere at Camp Nou, saying: “When you do not win, there is uncertainty surrounding your environment. It’s good that it happens because you have to react. Because when you are used to a regular feeling, it forces you to improve.”
Valverde said about the coming international break: “We will take the opportunity to rest. Some players leave, others stay, but after this break come very strong matches in which we play a lot.”
Barcelona are on top of LaLiga on goal difference after 12 games. They will travel to Leganes on 23rd November before meeting Borussia Dortmund at home in the Champions League.
Cristiano Ronaldo, now a Juventus player spent nine seasons at Madrid and became the club’s record LaLiga hat-trick scorer (34) ahead of Alfredo Di Stefano (22) and Ferenc Puskas (12).
While Messi is in his 16th season as a first-team player at Barcelona. He has scored eight goals in seven LaLiga games so far. Considering his red hot form, it appears likely that Messi will surpass Ronaldo’s record in this season only.

Liverpool will host Manchester City in one of the biggest matches of this season’s title race. Who will win and take a step closer to the Premier League title?
Liverpool and Manchester City have now become the two powerhouses in Premier League football after the arrival of Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola, respectively.
After Guardiola took over at Manchester City, there has been a shift of power in Manchester. Manchester City have won the last two consecutive Premier League titles, a feat which hasn’t been achieved by any team over a decade. The class of Aguero, Sterling, David Silva, De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva along with others is what took them above others.
Liverpool have also been transformed into serious title contenders by Jurgen Klopp. Klopp’s intelligent transfer market business saw them sign Van Dijk, Salah and Mane who have made them European Champions.
The fixture between Liverpool and Manchester City has now become the title showdown fixture of the Premier League in recent years. This year too isn’t any different. Liverpool are now 6 points clear of Manchester City. But this match can change the whole scenario of the Premier League title race.
Liverpool’s star defender Van Dijk told reporters: “That’s something we are not going to think about or discuss now whether a draw is good enough. We want to win every game that we play and so it is Sunday of course, and they want to win as well. So we will see.
“I have no fear. You should not have fear when you go out on the pitch. That’s not something that we feel. We know we have the quality to win games, but we have to be more than at our best at times, and hopefully for the full 90 minutes, and try to grind out games as well. I think we have been doing it in some games this season.”
He further added: “A lot of experience we had last year, winning the Champions League, getting so close to the Premier League, it’s always going to benefit us in a good way. Winning the Champions League can get you up in the clouds but the manager, the staff, the players have the right mentality at the moment that we want to do it again, like other teams.”
“Everyone knows how difficult it is but we are just going to go for it and see where it brings us at the end of the season. If it doesn’t bring us what we want it to be, we will just try again next year. That’s the mentality we have.”

Lampard does some pre-match superstitions to ensure Chelsea keeps winning.
Frank Lampard has revealed his awkward pre-match superstitions which he does as he fears Chelsea will lose if he doesn’t do these things.
Lampard recently received the Premier League Manager of the Month award for October but he confessed that he fears the perceived curse that sees recipients of the award lose their next match, which he put down to being “relatively superstitious”. But Lampard has been proved wrong and he would be happy to be proven wrong as Chelsea has beaten Crystal Palace by 2-0 today.
Lampard elaborated his superstitions: “I have my routines, like walking the dog, certain times I leave, the boots I’m wearing – little bits and bobs. It’s more routine than structure, which can be quite awkward.
“I walk the dog at certain times and on certain days. The day before training, I will walk her at a certain time, for a certain route. Nothing that exciting. I take her out in the morning. I go out early before I leave, I take her down to the local coffee shop, get my takeaway coffee, walk around, pick up her poo, put it in the bin, walk her home then go to training.”
“I find walking the dog quite good for clearing the head. I like to go to the gym as well – that’s another one of my superstitions. I have to spend the same amount of time on the bike – 50 minutes – or the amount that I run. Things like that. I’m still sweating now. I’ve just been doing it.”
He further added: “If I don’t do them, then I can feel like, ridiculously, as if it might have an effect on the result. Sometimes I do miss the dog walk for whatever reason. I’m also a relatively new dad, my daughter is a year and a bit, so sometimes I have to do other things. So it does not absolutely hold me down. I like going to the gym, I like walking the dog, I like eating pasta as a pre-match meal, so I stick with certain things. And then if we don’t win…”
Frank Lampard’s rituals go back to his playing days at Chelsea, where he shared a dressing room with John Terry. He said: “It was very commonplace in my playing days. John used to do it a lot. John was very structured in his build-up.”
“For me, I think we are all different, and I don’t completely rely on it. I joke a little bit, but I think it shows how much you want to do well and win sometimes, whether it has an effect or not. And I think if that’s in your mindset, that’s not the worst thing, albeit it might become a bit annoying sometimes if you stick to it.”
Lampard is pleased with the Premier League Manager of the Month award, but he insisted that the club as a whole deserved to be credited. He said: “It doesn’t confirm to me that I am doing a good job, albeit it is a nice award to get on an individual basis. It certainly is an award that relates to much more than that for what the club is doing and the people working behind the scenes. I appreciate it and I receive it for not just myself.”

AMD finally announces 3rd Gen Threadripper HEDT Processors with 24 and 32 Cores, AMD Threadripper 3970X up to 90% Faster Than Intel’s Core i9-9980XE
The Red Team’s most anticipated 3rd instalment of its very successful Threadripper CPUs have been announced by AMD. The new Threadripper CPUs are very special because they are based on AMD’s most advanced Zen 2 architecture that has been built on TSMC’s 7nm node.
As for now, AMD has launched only two HEDT CPUs namely – the 24 core Ryzen Threadripper 3960X and the 32 core Ryzen Threadripper 3970X. Being built on modern architecture, it enjoys the same benefits as its brother Ryzen 3000 CPUs, featuring 88 PCIe 4.0 lanes.
With this launch, AMD will directly challenge Intel’s Cascade Lake-X chips in the HEDT market, which is now shifting to Threadrippers slowly and will more likely will with this launch. AMD even claims that these CPUs are up to 90% better in performance, while also being 66% more power-efficient than the last-gen Threadripper CPUs.
The Ryzen Threadripper 3960X will feature 24 cores and 48 threads, and it will be clocked at 3.8 GHz base and will have boost frequency up to 4.5 GHz. Also, it will feature a huge 140MB of cache memory.
On the other hand, the 32 core and 64 threaded Ryzen Threadripper 3970X CPU will have 3.8 GHz base frequency and will have boost clock speed up to 4.5 GHz. Like its brother, the CPU will have a huge 144MB cache memory.
Performance
As per AMD’s official statement, the Threadripper 3970X will be as much as 90% faster than the Core i9-9980XE in Cinebench R20. The flagship 32 core CPU has 47% better performance in Adobe Premiere Pro, 49% better performance in V-Ray and 36% better performance in Unreal Engine than the Intel Cascade Lake-X flagship.
On the other hand, the 24 core Ryzen Threadripper 3960X sits just top of the Ryzen 9 3950X which also features 24 cores and 48 threads. On an average, the 3960X is 20-25% faster than the Skylake Lake-X flagship, with a delta as large as 54% in Cinebench R20.
TRX40 Platform Socket
These CPUs will be based on AMD’s new TRX40 chipset which will bring new features for enthusiasts, boasting a mighty 72 lane PCIe 4.0 setup that gives a bandwidth boost of 4x over the 2nd Gen Threadripper CPUs.
The socket gives support to 12 USB 10Gbps ports, quad-channel memory support at 3200MHz, up to four NVMe & PCIe SSD drives and a total of 12 USB 3.2 Gen2 ports.
With our 3rd-generation AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors, AMD is once again raising the performance bar significantly for creators, developers, and PC enthusiasts. 3rd Gen Ryzen Threadripper processors combine leadership performance and energy efficiency to create the ultimate high-end desktop solution. We are extremely excited to expand our leadership high-end desktop processor family and deliver the world’s fastest processors.
Saied Moshkelani, AMD Client Compute SVP
With these two monstrous desktop CPUs, AMD is looking to totally dominate over Intel in the HEDT market. Being versatile, modern, powerful and efficient these Threadripper CPUs will surely make a mark for those who need powerful CPUs over Intel’s costly X-series CPUs.
Even though cutting the cost of CPUs by 50%, Intel is trying to revive its HEDT market but being based on aged 14nm architecture it will have some hard time further. Being priced at $1,399, the Threadripper 3960X performs 25% over the Intel Core i9-9980XE and can perform 15-20% better than Intel’s latest i9-10980XE.
While the flagship 32 core Threadripper 3970X is priced at $1,999 and will provide you with a 50% advantage over the Core i9-9980XE for twice the price. Now from November 25th, the HEDT market will get much more interesting.
Roberto Moreno may include Ansu Fati in the Spain squad for Euro 2020.
Ansu Fati was born in Guinea-Bissau but has spent most of his life living in Spain. He first lived in Seville and since 2012 he has lived in Barcelona when he joined the famous La Masia academy of Barcelona.
The Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati had taken the football world by storm at just 16 years of age. He made his Barcelona debut at just 16 years and 298 days against Real Betis. He scored his first Barcelona goal against Osasuna to become the youngest Barcelona goal scorer in LaLiga.
Ansu Fati, aged 16 years and 318 days, became the youngest player to score as a starter in LaLiga history, and the youngest player to both score and assist in a LaLiga game in the 21st century. He achieved that feat against Valencia.
Fati has been sensational at Barcelona. Despite having world-class players like Dembele, Griezmann, Suarez and Messi in the attacking ranks, Barcelona head coach Valverde has often relied on Ansu Fati this season. He has continued to impress in the Blaugrana colours.
According to Catalan daily Sport, Fati has declared his intention to play for his adopted country and national team head coach Robert Moreno said efforts from the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to bring him into La Roja’s fold are well underway.
Fati has now been cleared to play for his adopted country in October and was named in the Under-21 squad for this month’s qualifying matches for the Euro Under-21 finals in 2021. He maybe even included in the Spain squad for Euro 2020.
Roberto Moreno told reporters in Madrid: “Ansu Fati is in the preliminary list and so there is no reason why he can’t be with us at Euro 2020. He ticks all the boxes.”
Roberto Moreno also commented on Dinamo Zagreb winger Dani Olmo and Valencia centre-back Gabriel Paulista. He said: “Dani Olmo enjoyed a great tournament with the Under-21s [at this year’s European Championship] and he’s doing well for his club in the Champions League. We’re very happy to be able to give him this opportunity. Gabriel Paulista is processing his passport but right now he cannot be called up. When he gets his Spanish passport, we’ll see. There are a lot of very good players but only 23 are able to make the squad. Out of a list of 45 players, we end up selecting the 23 who we think will do the best.”
The Spain head coach also talked about his future: “I haven’t been offered the chance to renew and nor am I expecting it to happen in the near future. If you were to ask me how long do I expect to be in the job – I would like to still be here for the Euros and the World Cup – so at least for one whole period. But that will depend on the results, that’s how it is for all coaches.”

Rodrygo Goes had an offer from Liverpool before Real Madrid approached him.
Rodrygo Goes has started his career at Real Madrid way better than he dreamed of. He has scored 5 goals in 6 games for Real Madrid since his arrival at the Spanish capital. His performances have led to plenty of praise.
Real Madrid paid out a reported €45million to seal Rodrygo’s signature in June 2018, by which time he had only made 13 appearances in the Campeonato Brasileiro, though he remained at Santos for another year.
Rodrygo scored a perfect hat-trick converting with his left foot, right foot and head. At 18 years and 301 days old, the Brazilian became the second-youngest player to score a Champions League hat-trick. He is only behind Real Madrid legend Raul, who was 188 days younger than Rodrygo when he scored three times against Ferencvaros in 1995.
The goals against Galatasaray also made Rodrygo the youngest Brazilian to score in Europe’s premier club competition.
Rodrygo’s former Santos coach Elano told ESPN: “There was a time when there was very strong interest from Liverpool for him to leave when he was still in the youth team. The values were very low, but they wanted to go. Real’s offer afterward was around €30 million more.”
“I had a conversation with the staff and said the boy was worth the risk and we should promote him because I wanted to work with him. Thank God everything worked out. He already had good decision-making at the professional level at your age. Different players have it early on. When they can control it, they get better and better.”
“Despite his young age, he has already formed a maturity and game personality. He has technical ability and very precise control of his movements. It did not take long for him to adapt to the senior level. It was very fast. I believe so much in his personality and his football. He still has room to grow.”
