Barcelona give their first public statement after Messi requested to leave the club

The Lionel Messi transfer saga isn’t going to end very soon when Messi himself wants to leave the club where he has been playing ever since his teenage days.

He is on the verge of leaving the club and it has been confirmed that with a burofax the Argentine has communicated to the club that he wants to leave the club. The forward has a clause in his contract that allows him to walk away for free, after each season that expired on June 11.

This time the season has been stretched longer due to the Coronavirus pandemic, so technically Messi still has this month to ask to leave for free. But the Barcelona board wants to go through a legal scrap with Messi this time as they won’t let Messi leave for free.

Messi has been linked with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and this time the matter is serious when the 33-year-old himself wants to leave and go.

New Barcelona signing Francisco Trincao was presented at the club today. But club president Josep Mario Bartomeu wasn’t present at the news conference.

Ramon Planes, Barcelona’s technical secretary was present at the interview and he was asked the obvious question about Messi’s transfer.

Planes told reporters: “It was very important news, we have always said that we want to build the new Barca around Messi, the best player in history.”

“We do not contemplate any contractual exit, because we want Messi to stay. Internally we are working for long hours to find the best solution for the club and for Leo.”

“We cannot make this a public dispute because neither Messi nor Barça deserve it. We are working internally to convince Messi.”.

He further insisted that Messi has not informed the club about not joining the pre-season training from next week.

According to Planes, Messi is still a Barcelona player. But the big question is until when?

Jio gains subscribers despite the pandemic while other telecom operators struggle

According to TRAI’s latest subscription report for the month of May 2020, Reliance Jio has gained a whopping 36 lakh new subscribers in the lockdown period.

This has made Reliance Jio largest telecom operator in India as it was behind the Vodafone-Idea merger by a fraction. It was coming and we knew Jio would be the top subscriber and it has, now holding 34.33% market share.

Here are some new achievements Jio has created as per the latest TRAI reports:

  • Compared to Jio, BSNL, on the other hand, added just 2 lakh subscribers
  • Vodafone Idea and Airtel both lost around 47 Lakhs subscribers respectively
  • Jio added roughly around 18 times more subscribers than what BSNL did

Both Vodafone-Idea and Bharti Airtel have lost chunks of market share – about 47 lakhs of subscribers from each operator. A total of 56 lakh subscribers have been lost as per TRAI’s latest report.

Reliance Jio has added about 36 lakhs of new wireless subscribers while BSNL has added 2 lakhs of new subscribers. Overall, Mukesh Ambani is having his dream come true, gaining more and more subscribers because people trust Jio now for its wide range of reliable services.

These two phones have made their global debut in May. These feature phones have a normal design with a small screen and a physical keyboard. The good thing is these entry-level phones support dual-SIM facility. In the case of color variants, Nokia 125 has two color options and the Nokia 150 (2020) comes with three.

Nokia 125 Specifications

This dual sim supported Nokia 125 runs on a series of 30+ operating systems. It features a 2.4p-inch QVGA color display with a physical T9 keyboard and navigation buttons. This phone is powered by an MTK CPU. Nokia 125 features 4MB RAM with 4MB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no camera on this phone.

Battery capacity is also quite good. There is a 1,020mAH removable battery in this phone and most importantly, Nokia claims it offers p to 19.4 hours of talk time and up to 23.4 days of standby. Other highlights are this phone supports 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and supports GSM 900/1800 network bands. The dimension of this phone: 132×50.5x15mm and weighs 91.3 grams.

Most of the specifications of the Nokia 150 (2020) are the same as the Nokia 125. But it also has some additional features. The Nokia 150 (2020) has a VGA camera on the backside with a support flash. There is also a support of memory expansion with a microSD card ( up to 32 GB). This phone also supports an MP3 player and Bluetooth v3.0 for connectivity. It has a dimension of 132×50.5x15mm and it weighs 90.54 grams.

Price and Availability

Nokia 125 comes with 4MB RAM and 4MB internal storage with a price tag of Rs. 1,999. This phone supports storage expansion with a microSD card. It is available in two color options namely, Charcoal Black and Powder White.

Nokia 150 (2020) the same storage options as Nokia 125, but the price is a little higher which is Rs. 2,299. It has three color options, which are Black, Cyan, and Red.

Both these Nokia feature phone sales have already started from yesterday, August 25 through top mobile retailers and Nokia.com.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the most anticipated RPG game of this year and every hyped gamer all around the world is waiting for its release. It is set to release on 19th November 2020 for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.

In a game, especially in role-playing games what a gamer hates the most are the long and lengthy subtitles. There are also problems related to the small text size of the subtitles. If someone has a problem with the eyesight or some wants to play the game while maintaining a distance with the screen, they had to toggle around and come closer to the screen to read all the important instructions.

In the previous week, CD Projekt released a new screenshot on Friday; with small blue dialogue text anchored against a similarly tinted backdrop. It got criticized by gamers as it was hard-to-read the 2077’s subtitles.

But overall it’s good news for all the gamers irrespective of whether they have bad eyesight or deaf or the ones whoever misses the important dialogues due to some external distractions or noise. There is great news for mid-range smartphone lovers, as Oneplus maybe introduce their new mid-range smartphone. Previously OnePlus has launched its flagship models only, but OnePlus Nord was launched last month, with a price tag of Rs. 24,999, which was the first mid-range phone of OnePlus. Leak news reveals that OnePlus is working with a new smartphone that may be priced under Rs. 18,000. After the successful launching of OnePlus Nord, OnePlus had said that they look to introduce many more affordable smartphones, but a launch so quickly was not predicted.

According to the source, the new upcoming phone may be launched at the end of September. The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC or Snapdragon 665 SoC processor. This new phone is reported to be even cheaper than OnePlus Nord and be priced at around Rs. 16,000 to 18,000 in India. The other specifications of this upcoming phone are not known yet.

A reliable leakster named @Boby25846908 on Twitter, reveals that the phone may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 SoC or 662 SoC. Snapdragon 662 SoC was launched in January of this running year. This processor was first seen in the newly launched Moto G9.

The tipster, also reported that this new affordable handset of OnePlus will compete with an OPPO smartphone that is expected to launch early September. The phone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC should be priced under 20,000.

If the leak is true, OnePlus is truly focused to modify its smartphone portfolio. According to the rumor, this midrange device by OnePlus may be aimed to offer more competition to brands like Xiaomi, Realme, and OPPO.

Other specifications of this handset like storage, camera, battery life, screen size are still not known yet, but if the phone will launch in September then we will get to know all those specifications soon. Of course, all of this is speculation and we recommend you please take this news lightly till OnePlus announces officially. After getting Dream11 as the title sponsor, a couple of days ago, the renowned ed-tech company also signed as one of two official sponsors of IPL 2020. Now BCCI gets CRED as their second official sponsor of this year’s IPL. CRED is a very renowned Credit Card payment company has been signed as the official partner for the IPL 2020. Now this year’s IPL is all set and filled up with all three partnerships.

“We are extremely pleased that we have filled 2 official partnership slots. This clearly shows the inherent strength of brand IPL. Our only deficit this year will be on account of Title Sponsorship which we lost out due to unfortunate and unprecedented circumstances” declared by the BCCI official.

As per estimates, BCCI will earn Rs 120 crores from three partnership slots filled by Tata Motors, Unacademy, and CRED. When Dream11 is selected for the title sponsor of IPL 2020, there were two vacant slots for the official sponsors. Unacademy has signed for 3 years as IPL central sponsor and will shell out in the range of Rs 120-130 crores for the period. The official announcement will reveal soon by BCCI.

Though, some processing is still left to approve CRED as the official sponsor. According to the sources, the proposed deal is yet to get the approvals for the debate within the IPL GC that the line of the business company operates in conflicts with the existing sponsor which is PayTM.

The entry of Reliance Jio in the Indian telecom market brings a huge change. Its most affordable data offerings along with the unlimited calling facility forced other operators to reduce their charges so that a competitive market can be maintained. The ultimate result is currently in front of you. In India, the charges for 1GB data is the lowest in the world.

A UK-based firm cable.co.uk recently analyzes around 5,554 data plans across 228 countries, in between 3rd February to 25th February, to get the average cost of 1GB data. The firm concluded in the end, India is the one at the top where the data plans are the cheapest among 228 countries around the globe.

The analysis says the average cost of 1GB data in India is $0.09. As per TOI’s report, this rate is nearly 65% less than the $0.3/GB in 2018.

Dan Howdle, the consumer telecom analyst of cable.co.uk said to TOI, “As a country whose young population has a particularly high technological awareness, India offers a vibrant smartphone market, with strong adoption and many competitors. Data, therefore, is quite staggeringly cheap,“

As per the analysis of cable.co.uk, the most expensive countries for a GB of data are São Tomé and Príncipe, Bermuda, Nauru, Falkland Islands, and Saint Helena. The costs relay are between $28.26 to $52.50 for each GB data. One of the main reasons behind it is all these are island nations. Countries with the cheapest data cost offerings are India, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, and Ukraine.

Its very good that the data plans are the cheapest here, but the internet speed also matters. As per Speedtest Global Index, India ranked 127th with the average 12.08Mbps speed in mobile data. Whereas, our nation holds 75th position with average 40.45bps in the case of broadband (July 2020).

England boss Gareth Southgate has confirmed that Harry Maguire has been removed from the England squad.

England has confirmed their 24-men squad for the clash against Denmark and Iceland. Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was the part of this squad. But he was removed from the team after he was found guilty and was given suspended prison sentence following a brawl in Greece.

Maguire and his brother Joe with Christopher Sharman were arrested on Thursday after an altercation with Police in Greece. Yesterday he was found guilty in several issues in a court verdict. United captain has been handed a 21 month and 10 day suspended prison sentence.

Gareth Southgate told to TheFA: “In light of this evening’s developments, I can confirm I have withdrawn Harry Maguire from the England squad for the matches against Iceland and Denmark.”

“As I said earlier today, I reserved the right to review the situation. Having spoken to Manchester United and the player, I have made this decision in the best interests of all parties and with consideration of the impact on our preparations for next week.”

It’s a huge decision taken by the England boss. Maguire is one of the automatic choices of Garry Southgate’s team. His absence can be costly for England.

Southgate was reluctant to call any replacement. It was rumored that he might have called Lewis Dunk of Brighton. But surprisingly no replacement was made by the boss.
