Zlatan Ibrahimovic extends his contract with AC Milan until June 2021

Ibrahimovic is like wine. The older, the better! The 38-year-old striker joined AC Milan last season and has taken to Serie A just like a duck to water.

AC Milan has been trying to extend Ibrahimovic’s contract for one more year. The experience he brings to the team is unparalleled. Now, transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Ibrahimovic has extended his contract until June 2021 with AC Milan.

Romano wrote on Twitter: “Endless Zlatan… confirmed! Ibrahimovic has reached an agreement with AC Milan. He’ll extend his contract until June 2021. Done deal, he’s gonna stay and play one year more in Serie A. Here we go!”

Ibrahimovic’s salary will be €7million net for a new one-year deal, but without the inclusion of any kind of bonuses. Previously it was reported that Milan’s offer was a €6m fixed salary plus €1m in bonuses.

Last season, the Swedish forward made 18 Serie A appearances scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists. Although he will turn 39 years within 2 months, he will surely add value to the AC Milan attack.

IPL 2020: Two CSK players Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaekwad test positive for COVID-19

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, BCCI has moved the IPL outside India to the UAE. The 13th edition of IPL is scheduled to start from 19th September. All the 8 IPL teams have already arrived in UAE.

13 members of Chennai Super Kings have tested positive for COVID-19. Among the 13 people, 1 Indian fast bowler and 12 members from support staff and social media team were reported positive. InsideSport claims they tried reaching out to CSK CEO Vishwanathan but he was unavailable to answer.

A report has come out on InsideSport on Saturday, claiming that the 1 Indian fast bowler who tested positive is Deepak Chahar.

The CSK member who revealed the information exclusively to InsideSport has strictly requested to remain unnamed.

The unnamed CSK team member said: “We don’t have much knowledge on who exactly has tested positive. I am hearing 2-3 squad members, few support staff members and our CEO’s family member has tested positive.”

InsideSport again asked him, is Deepak Chahar one of the player? The CSK member confirmed: “I think Chahar is one of the players.”.

Along with Chahar, Ruturaj Gaekwad has become the second Chennai Super Kings player to test positive for Coronavirus.

Both the players can return to training only after a 14-day quarantine period, following which they will have to test negative twice, 24 hours apart, before being permitted to re-enter the bio-secure zone.

The CSK member said that they are in a ‘complete state of shock‘ with the development.

He said: “We are in a complete state of shock and very scared. We took every possible precaution and followed the BCCI guidelines to the hilt, still, the virus has stuck the team”.

InsideSport asked him, how many members of the squad have tested positive? He replied: “Honestly, we are not very clear about it. No one from the team management has officially informed us anything. But what we are hearing is 13-14 members of our entire squad have tested positive and some results are still awaited”.

CSK has faced a major setback in the very beiginning of IPL 2020. They have also confirmed on Saturday that their vice-captain Suresh Raina has returned to India citing personal reasons and he will miss the entire IPL 2020.

After around 13 members of the Chennai Super Kings team was found positive for COVID-19, there’s another bad news for the CSK fans.

Suresh Raina, who is referred to as the ‘Chinna Thala’ by the CSK fans has returned to India citing personal reasons. The CSK team arrived in Dubai, UAE on 21st August and have been in quarantine since then.

Surprisingly, CSK had earlier announced that they have extended their quarantine period till 1st September, though they have completed their six-day mandatory quarantine period.

The CSK squad was expected to start training at the ICC Academy but the sudden postponement of the quarantine period has raised doubts in the minds of all the people. Now, it has been reported that around 13 members of CSK have tested positive, so this is the probable reason for extending their quarantine period.

KS Viswanathan, CEO, Chennai Super Kings offered support to Suresh Raina and his family. He said: “Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time.”

This is a major setback for CSK in IPL 2020. Suresh Raina has been one of their mainstays. ‘Chinna Thala’ will surely be missed by ‘Thala’ (MS Dhoni).

As the 5G era has already begun, from 2020 onwards it is getting more attention than ever. 5G is implemented in a few key countries across the globe, however, it’s still not as standardized as the 4G LTE and will take some years to grow the 5G spectrum totally.

The 5G carrier aggregation is a critical feature in 5G specifications to lift performance, capacity, and coverage in the rapidly expanding 5G networks. Although implementing mmwave 5G is easier and gives better speed, however, their range is very poor.

Mostly the sub-6GHz will be the standardized form of 5G in the coming days and implementing widely is still a challenge for many telecom giants. However, the 5G carrier aggregation allows operators to use multiple sub-6GHz spectrum channels simultaneously to transfer data between base stations and a 5G mobile device.

This ultimately helps to create a much more stable 5G network that can be much more accessible. This delivers improved 5G speeds and reliability in challenging wireless conditions.

A successful 5G carrier aggregation can lead to allow consumers to experience smoother video streaming and enjoy faster downloads. In their blog, Qualcomm has said that along with Ericsson, both have completed a 5G SA carrier aggregation test at Ericsson’s labs in Beijing, China.

Also, they cited the speed of the 5G connection to be 2.5 Gbps by aggregating 100 MHz + 60 MHz within the 2.5 GHz (n41) TDD band in a 70% downlink configuration and using 4×4 MIMO.

They’ve also tested in Sweden, where the companies established a successful 5G SA carrier aggregation data call by combining 20 MHz in the 600 MHz (n71) FDD band with 100 MHz of spectrum in the 2.5 GHz (n41) TDD band.

As Qualcomm states, the tests were carried out using 5G infrastructure equipment from the Ericsson Radio System portfolio and a 5G smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G Modem-RF System

This 5G carrier aggregation milestone is important because this is the world’s first featuring both FDD/TDD and TDD/TDD aggregation. So, as Qualcomm states, “this technology significantly enhances the performance of 5G networks worldwide, unlocking even higher average speeds and better 5G coverage for consumers.”

If you wonder when this 5G Carrier Aggregation will be coming to market, worry not, as Ericsson will offer a commercial release of 5G NR carrier aggregation in Q4 this year. On the other hand, Qualcomm is already shipping samples of Snapdragon X60 modem, and we will see them in action with upcoming flagship smartphones using the new Modem-RF System in early 2021.

As the launch of the new RTX 30 series GPUs comes nearer more and more news gets coming. Recently Palit, the GPU maker, has registered 171 products with Eurasian Economic Commission.  

Not all of the products will be made to the market, however, some of those codenames could relate to some of the specific regions. There are all the variants of the upcoming GPUs including the RTX 3090, RTX 3080, RTX 3070, and RTX 3060.

Now, this raises the availability concerns as previously it was speculated that NVIDIA would launch the budget RTX GPU in November. However, with this EEC filing, we could still hope NVIDIA will be launching the RTX 3060 GPU as well to take on AMD anytime in the last quarter of 2020.

The strange part is there are unusually high numbers of RTX 3070 that have been certified. Also, there are more RTX 3060 models than the RTX 3080 and 3090 cards. In the filing, we see there are three main groups of SKUs on top of the regular 30xx denominations including T, S, and H suffixes.

The T suffix could stand for Ti and S for Super, although the meaning of the H suffix is still not known and the mixes in suffixes raise even more confusion. However, we may not have to wait long as NVIDIA’s launch is just a few days apart now.

Unknown 9: Awakening- A brand new paranormal mystery game gets announced

Gamescom 2020 brought us a brand new AAA Next Gen game called Unknown: Awakening, which is likely seen to be a 3rd-person, narrative-driven action-adventure game, set in the new transmedia Unknown 9 universe. The game is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. 

The official synopsis of the game states that-“Unknown 9 is a paranormal mystery unfolding across a wide variety of platforms. Audiences will delve into the secrets of the Leap Year Society and uncover stories about the 9 unknown immortals that hold the keys to humanity’s greatest mysteries,”.

The game will be set around 100 years before most of the other Unknown 9 stories

The trailer features a girl named Haroona who is raised on the streets of Kolkata, India struggling everyday to stay alive for most of her childhood. She is haunted by visions of her own death and struggles to understand her mysterious ability to manipulate the unseen until she meets a person who who helps her to hone her abilities. Her mentor teaches her to master the gifts and to access the completely mysterious hidden dimension known as the Fold. He then propels Haroona on a journey to unlock the mysteries of this new realm.

Till now Reflector Entertainment, the developer of this game haven’t spoke much about the gameplay but only details they provided that it’s “a 3rd-person, narrative-driven, action-adventure game”. Though Ottier and Street gave a clue of the story content, stating that it contains “themes of self-discovery, redemption and the exploration of an unknown world, hidden in plain sight. It’s a journey into ancient secret societies, hidden dimensions and humanity’s forgotten legacy.”

We haven’t got any release date for this game but it’s a hunch that the game might be releasing in 2021. We will let you know when we will get more information about this game.

Redmi 9A India is ready to launch on September 2

Now Redmi is going to launch its “Indian” smartphone on September 2. The Redmi 9A is often called as “Desh ka smartphone”. Xiaomi has recently announced through its social media channels, that the Redmi 9A is set to launch in India on September 2 and will go on sale in India as early as September 4.

The Redmi 9A will be the third model in the Redmi 9 series. This is the successor of Redmi 9 and Redmi 9 Prime. Although the specifications regarding this smartphone are yet to be revealed by the officials. Malaysia is the first country in which, this smartphone made its debut back in June. In the case of the Indian market, the Redmi 9A is the successor of the Redmi 8A.

Coming to the specifications part of the phone. The Redmi 9A comes with a waterdrop notch type of a display and has only one rear camera. It has a 6.53-inch HD+ (720x,1,600 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The Redmi 9A supports dual-SIM (Nano) and runs on Android 10 based on MIUI 11. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25b Soc with up to 3GB of RAM. The Indian variant can also have a 4GB RAM version.

Coming to its camera, it is a 13MP rear camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. the Front Selfie camera comes with a sensor of 5MP (f/2.2). The Redmi 9A has a pretty powerful 5,000mAH battery with 10W fast charging support which comes with a micro-USB port. In general, this phone has 32GB internal storage, but its Indian variant is expected to have 128GB internal storage.

Xiaomi will host the launch event of the Redmi 9A (India) that will begin at 12 PM (noon) on September 2. From September 4, this phone is expected to go for sale in the markets. It is also rumored, that Xiaomi may change the branding of this phone as an Indian variant. But, there is no official news regarding this matter.

Regarding the specifications, this phone will be definitely a lower-budget phone. Its 2GB + 32GB variant carried the price tag of roughly 6,400 Rs. in the other countries. But in India, Xiaomi is willing to launch the Redmi 9A in 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB options. In the case of colors, this smartphone is expected to have three different color variants: Nature Green, Sea Blue, and Midnight Black. But there is no news revealed by the company, regarding the price of the phone in India.

Shenzhen-based smartphone maker Infinix has already announced the newest member of Infinix smartphones, which is Infinix Zero 8 in Indonesia. This phone has a 90Hz refresh rate smooth display with a unique rhombus-shaped quad camera with a 64MP primary shooter, powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T processor.

This phone has quite a huge 6.85-inch IPS LCD display. Regarding the expected pricing range of that phone, Infinix could have used an AMOLED display. That could be more fascinating for a 6.85-inch huge screen. It has a pill-shaped cutout for the dual 48MP and 8MP selfie cameras. Moreover, the 90Hz refresh rate is accompanied by a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Regarding the rear camera of this phone, it has a 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor with 4K video recording, 8MP ultrawide sensor, and two 2MP cameras for low light photography and depth. This phone boots on Infinix OS 7 based on Android 10. It has a decent battery of 4,500mAH and supports 33W SuperCharge. So, there should be no issues regarding charging. This phone also includes a headphone jack, FM radio receiver, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Infinix Zero 8 will go on sale on August 31, with a retail of IDR 3,799,000 ($258) as per the officials. Moreover, we can expect that the phone will go global on September 1 with a $250 / INR 18,500 price tag.

Sony’s 17th September announcement event will be on Xperia 5 II

Sony is expected to launch a new smartphone on 17th September. The poster of this upcoming announcement has a hashtag with “SonyXperia”. Maybe the upcoming handset will be Sony Xperia 5 II, but Sony did not say anything about the model name.

The renders of Xperia 5 II has leaked, which reveal that the phone is designed with classic top and bottom bezel on the front side and triple rear camera on the backside with ZEISS T* lenses.

The screen size of this upcoming handset is still not known. But it is assumed that the phone would be very close to Sony Xperia 1 II which stuck with 6.5″ screen size. If the 5 series model does the same, that means the phone will be launched with a 6.1″ screen size with the protection of Gorilla Glass 6 on both sides. The phone may have a 90Hz refresh rate.

If the upcoming phone will be Sony Xperia 5 II, then the leaked news reveals that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s SM8250 Snapdragon 865 Octa-Core processor, with Android 10.

According to the leaked news, the Sony Xperia 5 II will be launched with a triple rear back camera with 12 MP primary sensors, 12 MP telephoto, and 12 MP ultrawide sensor. Xperia 5 II may have 8GB RAM with a support of 265 GB of internal storage. It is assumed that the phone comes with Li-Ion 3,300 mAh, non-removable battery with fast charging support.

Bases on the source news, the phone will be launched with 5G network support. The other connectivity options are Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C. The phone may have Stereo speakers with 3.5mm jack.

As Sony posted an official poster of an upcoming announcement for an Xperia model, it is assumed that the phone will be Xperia 5 II. Sony will live stream the announcement on its YouTube channel starting at 7:00 AM UTC.
