Luka Jovic burst onto the scene last season with Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. He scored 27 goals in 2018-19. He was one of the sought after forwards in Europe. Real Madrid brought him to the Bernabeu at the beginning of this season. They see him as the long-term replacement for the ageing Benzema.
Jovic has failed to find his feet at the Bernabeu since his reported €60 million move. He has only scored 2 goals in 24 appearances before this season was halted due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
He has been linked to Borussia Dortmund as a possible makeweight in a deal to bring Erling Haaland to the Spanish capital. He has also emerged as a reported transfer target for Premier League club Arsenal.
Luka Jovic’s personal trainer Bojan Custic told Diario AS: “He [Jovic] has told me that he only wants to triumph at Real Madrid, have a great career and for the Bernabeu to chant his name. And he is sure that he is going to achieve all of that.”
“A lot of his team-mates are talking with him and trying to help him and he is absolutely fine. He is going to demonstrate his true potential, he just needs to be patient. He is in top shape and he feels healthy and well in every sense.”
“Luka trains at home for three hours every day. Every morning we have a one-hour session and in the afternoon, two hours of high-intensity training, a physically more demanding workout.”
“He has a treadmill at home, an exercise bike as well as other training equipment so we use all of that for our training sessions. We have been doing workouts that are specifically designed for footballers – thinking about the movements they make and what kind of exercise is required.
“Every 14 days we revise how his training sessions have gone and analyse his level of fitness.”

T20 was still in its infancy in 2008 when Kolkata Knight Riders opener McCullum came to the crease, and there was little indication of what was to come when the New Zealander failed to score off his first six balls faced.
He soon got his eye in. McCullum would go on to smash 158 off 73 balls, including 13 sixes and 10 fours, as the Knight Riders cruised to a 140-run win against Royal Challengers Bangalore. It was a better start than even the IPL architects could have hoped for.
Brendon McCullum gave an interview to recollect his famous innings on the 18th April 2008. He is now the head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders. The following is the conversation between the reporter and McCullum.
That mind-blowing first night of the Indian Premier League 2008 – The story never gets old. Can you take us through the memories?
McCullum: “Well, I never really got too nervous throughout my cricket career, but on that occasion, I’ll admit I was very nervous. I think none of us really knew what this tournament (the IPL) was going to be like. We all loved the idea of it, we loved the fanfare, but all the eyeballs of the cricketing world got turned towards Bangalore that night. I feel so lucky and privileged to have had the opportunity (to be a part of that spectacle) You talk about sliding doors, and moments in your careers and in lives. That night, my life changed completely in the space of those three hours or actually, even an hour-hour and a half.”
“Why was I the one who got that opportunity to be able to go and face (the) first (delivery) with Sourav Ganguly? How did I get a chance to play in the first game, have the first opportunity to bat in such a huge tournament for world cricket? How was I even able to grab that opportunity? How much luck did I have along the way? Honestly, I don’t know the answers to any of these, but what I do know is that it changed my life forever.”
“It changed my family’s life forever, and I feel very blessed and very humble and very lucky. What I did that night was something I didn’t think I was capable of achieving. I couldn’t have done it without my teammates, that’s 100% sure. It was just a surreal moment in time where you just look back and say, ‘How lucky was I?’”
Do you recollect any specific reactions from your teammates or the owners on that night, which got embedded in your mind forever?
McCullum: “I was just a young kid back then, so I was so in awe of Shah Rukh Khan who was such a megastar. I was so out of my depth even just around the superstars in my cricket team, let alone the megastar who owned our cricket team! I don’t remember many reactions in detail, but what I do remember is what Sourav Ganguly said to me that night.”
“Dada said, ‘Your life is changed forever’, and I didn’t quite know what he meant at the time, but (in hindsight), I 100% agree with him. Shah Rukh, in the months which followed or the days and the weeks and the months which followed, he said. ‘you’ll always be with the Knight Riders.’“
“There were times when I was with KKR, and then I got released, but we always finished on really good terms. I was always very grateful, and thankful for the opportunity that the franchise had provided for me. So when an opportunity arose again (for the role of the head coach), I thought: ‘Well, Shah Rukh did say to me ‘You’ll always be very involved with KKR’ and this, I guess, is another opportunity.’”
“I find them (the entire KKR management) to be such great people, hopefully, we can have success for them on the field in the years to follow. We’re trying to play a style of cricket which is a great representation of the people of Bengal and also Shah Rukh, Jay (Mehta) and all those involved in the franchise. Hopefully, we will be successful, because I think we’ve got the right team for it as well.”
Currently, how are you dealing with Social Distancing and the Lockdown?
McCullum: “Well I guess we are all dealing with it in different ways, and every country has its own issues at the moment. It has definitely passed things slowly. I’m trying to enjoy the time that I’m getting at home with the family because in a funny way, we are all forced to really spend a lot of time with our loved ones which is fantastic. We probably don’t stop and take as much time to appreciate that. When we are on the other side of this pandemic and hopefully, we haven’t lost too many lives, and things are returning to normal in the schedule of all of us cricket coaches, commentators and people all around involved in the game, it’s going to get pretty intense. So I’m trying to just enjoy the break for now.”
Sachin Tendulkar recently spoke about approaching these difficult times with a session-by-session approach. What’s your take on that?
McCullum: “I agree with Sachin. I think you know we need to just try and break this down, and try and look at it in isolation every time – just small steps like in a session by session (scenario). Deal with every day, make sure your days are well planned, well structured. I think that’s the best thing from what we’ve tried to do in our family as well. Every day, write a bit of a plan of what we’re going to trying to tick off and what we’re going to try and achieve. Funnily enough, we’ve done it around meal times – breakfast together, lunch together and then dinner together. Additionally, just sort of tick off some jobs outside, whether it’s cleaning out your wardrobes or whether it’s cleaning the roof or doing all the gutters or whatever, there’s always something to be done. Just as Sachin said, play it like a Test match and break it down into sessions.”
We noticed you’ve been following KKR’s new strength and condition trainer Chris Donaldson’s workout regimes quite diligently…
McCullum: “If you’re going to do a little bit of crime, you’ve got to do some time too! That’s exactly why Chris Donaldson, our trainer, who is also the New Zealand team’s trainer and a former Olympics sprinter, has been setting up sessions for all the (KKR) players.”
“I’ve sort of figured that as a coach, I can’t ask others to do what you’re not prepared to do yourself. So whilst I can’t do them as well as the players can, I can still put in a little bit of effort. I’ve also heard that the shirts this year – all our practice shirts and coaches shirts – are going to be very, very tight, so I need to make sure I’m not too fat as we head into the season!”
Only five men have recorded higher scores than McCullum’s knock since 12 years, but none have been as important as the display which showed the IPL was a force rather than a farce.

During this pandemic situation, the only way we can meet our lovable ones is trough video or audio calls. So, the platforms providing these services become busier than before. As we all know, Facebook messenger, WhatsApp, Google Duo are some of the popular lists.
In comparison with other platforms, WhatsApp allows a very less number of members in a group video or audio calls. Which disappoints the users some time. As per reports, WhatsApp is preparing to rectify it.
By analyzing the latest beta version of WhatsApp, it is expected that developers are preparing the platform to allow more heads both in grouped video and audio calls. In case you don’t know the present limit, it is four max.

To prevent the spread of coronavirus, Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi announced 21 days lockdown last month. As a result, e-commerce companies need to stop their supplies rather than the essentials.
Since the spread of the virus is not slow down yet, our honorable prime minister extends the lockdown again till the 3rd of May. Along with the announcement, the Indian government also issued a modified guideline just to the next day.
As per the updated guideline, commercial and private foundations can resume their activity from 20th April. But all the employees need to strictly follow social distancing and other safety measures during their service.
Obeying the declaration, e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, etc will resuming their businesses from this Monday. All the items including electronics, clothing, household appliances and more as well as the essential products will be available.
All the delivery vans need to take permission from the authorities to come out on road. Whereas trucks and all goods carrier vehicles are allowed to go with utmost two valid license holder drivers and one helper. An empty carrier on the road will only allow while returning from any delivery or going for pickup. The government is also allowing shops for truck repair and dhabas on highways to remain open. This is to support the on-duty truck drivers.
These steps will definitely help to all the people directly or indirectly involved with this industry to survive economically. Besides, the industrial and commercial activities may revive.

1st Update -> 19th April
As per the latest update by the Indian government, the supply of non-essentials which was decided to go to start from tomorrow, can’t be resume for now. Afterall safety is the first priority.
According to some reports Apple was going to unveil the next flagship iPhone lineup in September but recently we saw someone got a hold of the CAD renders for the supposedly called iPhone 12 Pro Max. These renders show both the schematic designs and mockups of the so-called iPhone 12 Pro Max.
But we have to keep in mind that this is not the final design at all. Reports say that it can be 70% of the final design and some mode improvements can be made at the final designs. The camera and notch alignments can be altered in the final decision, but as of now, it seems pretty decent with minimized bezels and thinner designs.
In this video we can see we get to see all the necessary details about the device including the design of the smartphone. Interestingly the mockup model that surfaced shows that the device will be much thinner than the previous models. This design also reminds us of the iPhone 5s due to the sharp edge designs.
The display would have significantly thinner bezels i.e. around 0.9cm thinner than the current ones and the notch, if finalized, will be a tad wider than the one on the OnePlus 6, for reference, but still smaller than the one in iPhone 11 series today. This would allow for a bigger display and the body will be slightly taller and wider too.
Now forming a square shape for its quad-camera setup, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will include a LiDAR sensor as well, but it might be positioned differently as we already pointed out. The camera arrangement still isn’t final. And finally, the speaker grille will adopt a different look while the loudspeakers themselves will get 10 to 15% bump in loudness.
It’s a pretty massive leak this one and given that the source of the CADs claim that the design isn’t finalized, so we suggest you don’t hold your breath as some details may change before launch.
Previously we came across a piece of news claiming that the Meizu 17 5G will launch on 17th April, the poster which claimed that also seemed official. But now we go another poster straight from the Meizu Technologies Weibo account claiming that the Meizu 17 will launch on April 22.
From the poster itself, we get to see the front of the device, which will come with a punch hole cut design and in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone has an even margin all around the display and looks symmetric with rounded edges. From all the reports surfacing online, we know that the device will come with 5G connectivity.
From leaks, we know Meizu 17 smartphone runs on the Android v10 operating system. The phone is powered by Octa-core (2.84 GHz, Single core, Kryo 585 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 585 + 1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 585) processor. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Chipset. It has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
The leaks also say that the smartphone has an IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2206 pixels and 396 PPI pixel density. The phone is said to support 30W charging and the Pro version may support up to 65W wired charging.
Qualcomm announced to establish a “strategic collaboration” with BOE Technology, one of the largest LCD, OLED, and flexible display manufacturing companies in the World. The primary reason is to develop innovative displays with the Qualcomm 3D Sonic fingerprint sensor. They will also work together to extend their technologies from mobile and 5G equipment to XR and IoT.
They already started working to merge Qualcomm’s 3D Sonic fingerprint sensor with BOE’s flexible OLED displays. For this partnership, they are expected to deliver thinnest and high-security fingerprint sensor-enabled display panels. This will be an opportunity for smartphone OEMs to build unique products.
Rather than increasing the product quality, the collaboration will make an impact on the expenses of R&D and BoM, as well as on the streamlined supply chain. Wenbao Gao, executive vice president, and chief executive officer of display and sensor, BOE said, “BOE will start shipping flexible OLED panels with integrated Qualcomm 3D Sonic sensor during the second half of 2020.”
The senior vice president and chief operations officer of Qualcomm Technologies, Roawen Chen said, “Qualcomm Technologies continuously strives to improve our collaboration in China, and collaboration with BOE will be another example of the dedication and our long-term commitment to driving innovations in this vibrant ecosystem,” He also added, “Through this collaboration, we expect that OEMs will have more opportunities to design cutting-edge products that feature OLED displays made with the Qualcomm 3D Sonic fingerprint sensor technology. We look forward to further strengthening our innovative collaboration with BOE in key areas like 5G, XR and IoT.”
Apple releases a Mobility Data trend tool a few days back. The stats will help the Government and health authorities so that they can take proper steps to prevent COVID-19 infection spread.
The source of raw data is Apple Maps. This report shows the changes in the density of people driving, walking or availing public transports at their localities.
Apple assured they didn’t keep anyone’s location history and Apple Maps is not associated with the user’s Apple ID. The company only counts the number of requests for a destination in major cities and 63 countries or regions. And that is utilized to build the report.
The Mobility Data report will update daily and anyone can download the complete data-set in CSV file format.
Rather than publishing the Mobility report, Apple also provided additional efforts. They donated over 20 million face mast to the front line warriors i.e. doctors, healthcare staff, etc. They supplied 1 million masks per week to the neediest areas around the globe.
For the policemen, cleaning staff and other people, Apple helped Stanford Medicine to build an app for self-screening, and schedule testing appointments if needed. They also update Siri and Apple Maps to provide useful links and information from authenticated sources.
