OFFICIAL: Arsenal has triggered Thomas Partey’s release clause and signed him on a five-year deal

Thomas Partey played a starring role in Diego Simeone’s team last season. He made 35 league appearances for Atletico Madrid as they finished third last season. He also scored three goals.

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone rates Partey highly and was reluctant to let him leave for any cost this summer. The only way for Arsenal to sign Partey was to pay his €50m release clause.

Mikel Arteta is rebuilding his Arsenal team. He targeted Lyon’s Aouar and Atletico’s Partey. After the French midfielder publicly said he wants to stay at Lyon, Arteta has turned his full focus on the 27-year-old Ghana international.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, LaLiga has confirmed that Arsenal has triggered the release clause of Thomas Partey.

Arsenal will be paying €50m as Thomas Partey’s release clause. The 27-year-old midfielder will sign a five-year deal at the Emirates.

He has already flown to London for his medicals and to sign the contract which runs till 2025.

Arsenal has already loaned out Guendouzi to Hertha Berlin, to make room for a new midfielder. Lucas Torreira is also set to join Atletico Madrid on a loan deal as he is not in Arteta’s plans.

The signing of Thomas Partey would definitely add more solidity to the Arsenal midfield along with Ceballos and Xhaka. This would give more opportunity to Aubameyang, Lacazatte and Pepe to cause more trouble to the opposition.

Chelsea loan out Ruben Loftus Cheek to Fulham on transfer deadline day

Chelsea had been busy in this transfer market from the very start. They have signed seven players this summer which includes big names like Werner, Thiago Silva, Ziyech, Chilwell, Havertz and Mendy.

So it is now time for some players to be loaned out or sold. Chelsea had already loaned out Ross Barkley to Aston Villa, who played a starring role as Villa humiliated Premier League champions, Liverpool, by a 7-2 scoreline. Then it was time for Bakayoko to be sent on loan to Napoli.

Now, on the transfer deadline day, Chelsea has sent another midfielder on loan, this time Ruben Loftus Cheek to Fulham.

The 24-year-old English midfielder wanted to move out in search of regular game time. After the big-money signings this summer, Ruben felt below the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard agreed to send him out on loan but the clubs weren’t willing to pay the larger portion of his £150,000-a-week salary.

Now on the transfer deadline day, Fulham made a last minute move for the England international and has accepted Chelsea’s salary divison. Ruben will definitely add a lot of quality to the Fulham midfield and would help the club in their fight to stay in the Premier League.

WhatsApp starts rolling ‘Mute Forever’ option for its beta users

Facebook-owned WhatsApp is used by over billions of users across the globe. Most of its customers are on android platforms, and it offers various privacy and chats features to attract more customers to its global platform.

Its messages are end-to-end encrypted to ensure that no one except the parties in the conversation can read the data shared while chatting.

Though its privacy has been compromised time and again, with recent being the leaked chats of Actor Sushant Singh Rajput (may he rest in peace).

But let’s not talk about WhatsApp’s privacy here. We are discussing a new feature in which the chat app is testing on its beta version.

Ever had an annoying pest troubling you on WhatsApp whose number you will occasionally need but don’t want to receive their text on WhatsApp. Ever wondered how to lifetime shut the annoying good morning and goodnight messages in your family groups which no one cares about. And most importantly are you irritated by the annoying forwards that come your way by the graduates of WhatsApp university?

Well my friend you are not alone.

WhatsApp has finally heard our prayers and has started testing its Mute Forever feature in WhatsApp beta.

Initially, we could mute someone or a group for 8 hours, one day or one year at max, which is not enough to stop so many pests online. But now WhatsApp users can finally mute groups or personal chats forever! That’s right. Forward messages from WhatsApp uncles be mute forever.

The feature is being tested and is currently available for beta testers only. But we expect the feature to roll out for everyone in the coming weeks and with bug fixes and improvements, of course.

The feature will be available through the same settings.

To enable this option, head over to any chat or any group. Click on the three dots at the top right and open the ‘Mute Notifications’ option. There, you will be asked the duration of the mute to be enabled. Set it to always and voila.

This feature will be useful for many who are a part of various groups and don’t want to be bothered by notifications from them—especially notifications of the WhatsApp university syllabus.

Intel Tiger Lake-H, Alder Lake-P, and Alder Lake-S detailed specs revealed

0

Tiger lake-based laptops have started hitting the stores and are a must for anybody looking to upgrade from an older generation notebook. Intel has moved to its 10nm chip process with its Tiger Lake, meaning more performance is delivered with a small size. The new processor also sports the latest Iris Xe iGPU by Intel, which delivers decent graphics processing than its predecessors.

Intel revealed its Alder Lake, a high performing hybrid architecture but did not reveal much of the details. But we have got our hands on exclusive information regarding several Tiger Lake-H, Alder Lake-P, and Alder Lake-S specifications from OEM, courtesy of Notebookcheck.

The actual information might still differ once the final specs are revealed by the Semiconductor giant, but this information is still like a pearl found in the deep ocean. NBC states that the actual clock speeds of and TDPs are still elusive.

Tiger Lake – H

The report claims that the TGL-H is likely to arrive in 35 W and 45 W variants with 35 W topping out four cores and 45 W up to eight cores but will come with 32 execution units (EUs) Xe GPU. NBC also reports that the new Tiger Lake – H will be based on the 10nm Willow Cove core with up to 8C/16T configuration.

The Tiger Lake – H will support DDR4-3200 RAM up to 128 GB. The CPU has 20 PCIe Gen 4 lanes and 24 Gen 3 lanes from the PCH. The Xe LP iGPU will feature up to 32 EUs and can output up to 8K 60 HDR videos.

Alder Lake – P and Alder Lake -S

Alder Lake will be a hybrid CPU architecture, as confirmed by Intel itself. A hybrid architecture is pretty economical in power consumption but is not highly rated enough to deliver expected boost clocks. Alder Lake sports the smaller Gracemont (GRT) cores and the big cores of Golden Cove (GLC). The smaller cores are the successor of Tremont, while the bigger ones are successors of Willow Coves.

Sources claim of Alder Lake -P of having 6 GLC and 8 GRT cores while the Alder Lake -S will have up to 8 GLC and 8 GRT cores. But hyperthreading will be offered only in GLC cores for both P and S Alder Lake variants.

Alder Lake – P will reportedly offer 96 – EU Xe LP iGPU, while Alder Lake – S will come with 32 EUs. The iGPU in both Alder Lake variants will support Intel’s Gaussian and Neural Accelerator 3.0 (GNA 3.0) edge AI processing. Both the variants will support up to 64 GB (ADL-P) and 128 GB (ADL-S) of DDR5-4400 RAM.

Bayern Munich make FOUR new signings within 24 hours of transfer deadline day

0

After a rather dormant summer transfer window, Bayern have suddenly sprung to life, concluding as many as four deals in the last 24 hours.

Eric Maxim Chuopo-Moting has joined Bayern after his contract at PSG expired. The forward played opposite the Bavarian giants in the Champions League final last season and has now joined the winning team on a one year deal.

From Stoke to PSG to Bayern, Chuopo-Moting’s agent should take a hell lot of credit for the player’s huge moves.

Keeping to the attacking side of things, Bayern have managed to find themselves a winger following the departure of Ivan Perisic after the end of his loan spell.

The cavalry arrives in the form of a known face in Douglas Costa, who made the move from Bayern to Juventus in 2018. Though it seems unlikely that the Brazilian will start over the likes of Gnabry, Sane or Coman, the season is long and injuries are never too far away.

Add to that the fact that the squad needs rotation at certain points, and Costa could provide the Champions with some serious quality off the bench.

In the heart of the park, Bayern have replaced the outgoing Spaniard Javi Martinez with another Spanish midfielder in Marc Roca, who joined the Bavarian giants yesterday from Espanyol for a total fee of €15 million.

With Thiago and Martinez already out of the club, Kimmich and Goretzka will need backup and Tolisso can be expected to partner with Roca for reinforcements.

Lastly, and most recently, Bayern have finally landed themselves a right-back after being passed on by Sergino Dest for Barcelona.

The backup to first-choice right-back Pavard comes in the form of Buona Sarr who makes the move from Ligue 1 side Marseille. The reported fee is around the €10 million mark. With Pavard’s backup taken care of, Kimmich can now focus on his role in midfield for the remainder of the season.

OFFICIAL: Manchester United sign Alex Telles from Porto

After a humiliating defeat against Tottenham Hotspur by a 6-1 scoreline in the Premier League matchday 4 on Sunday, Manchester United has suddenly become busy in the transfer market on the transfer deadline day.

Until yesterday, the Red Devils had only signed Donny Van de Beek from Ajax. But suddenly we are now looking at 2-3 transfer deadline day signings.

Former PSG player Edison Cavani has joined on a free transfer and now it has been confirmed that United has officially signed Porto left-back Alex Telles.

The final estimated transfer fee is to be around €15 million including add-ons. Porto was demanding €18-€20 million previously but after Telles forced for a move to Old Trafford they have now accepted United’s latest bid.

Telles would be a great addition to the side after Luke Shaw was putting up below-par performances in the last games. During his 195 appearances for Porto, Telles has racked up an impressive 57 assists and 26 goals. So, he would provide the much-needed stability to the defence and would also add a lot more threat down the left flank.

After confirming the deal for Alex Telles, United would now turn their head towards Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.

After missing out on Jadon Sancho, United are now looking for a temporary solution. Dembele didn’t train with Barcelona today so it seems that he may join Manchester United on loan finally.

This 3 transfer deadline day signings could prove to be vital in United’s bid for a Champions League place or even poising a challenge for the Premier League title.

Callejon said: “I am very happy here, I come with a great desire to do well, now I will have to work with the coach and the team, because I have been training alone for two months. The break for the national teams will help me.”

The winger also had offers from LaLiga side Villarreal but he chose to remain in Italy. He said about this matter: “But I chose Florence because it is a beautiful city. Staying in Italy is also important for my family and for my children.”

He also commented on Chiesa and will he be able to replace him in the team: “He [Chiesa] is a great player, he will do well wherever he goes. But I’m Jose Callejon, I come to do my job. I want to make the players happy.”

Jose Callejon is a veteran winger. He knows his job well and is a poacher who roams around the second bar whenever a cross comes in. It is his trademark playing style. He will definitely add a lot of quality to Fiorentina.
