IPL 2020: BCCI announces schedule and venue details for playoffs, Dubai to host the final!

The BCCI announced the schedule and venue details of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 playoffs and final on Sunday.

The playoffs and final of IPL 2020 will be played from 5th November to 10th November in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Qualifier 1 will be held in Dubai on 5th November, followed by the Eliminator (6th November) and Qualifier 2 (8th November) in Abu Dhabi. The final will be held on 10th November in Dubai.

The schedule is as follows:

5th November – Qualifier 1 – Team 1 vs. Team 2 (Dubai)

6th November – Eliminator – Team 3 vs Team 4 (Abu Dhabi)

8th November – Qualifier 2 – Winner of Eliminator vs Loser of Qualifier 1 (Abu Dhabi)

10th November – Final – Winner of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Qualifier 2 (Dubai)

BCCI also announced details of the Women’s T20 challenge fixtures which will take place between November 4 and November 9 in Sharjah. It will feature three teamsn namely – Supernovas, Trailbrazers, and Velocity.

IPL 2020 – the best IPL ever?

IPL 2020 has been filled with uncertainties. Nail-bitting thrillers, super overs, injuries, controversies, records, etc., you name it! It has been everything the fans needed during these tough times caused by the pandemic.

We’re at the business end of the tournament, and it still isn’t clear as to which team will occupy that number 4 position of the points table. To put it in perspective, KXIP were at the bottom of the points table; however, winning four matches has them in contention for the number 4 spot. Three of those four wins have been against the top 3 teams of the points table, namely Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Speaking of the top three teams, MI, DC, and RCB needed one win to solidify their playoffs. However, all three teams ended up losing their last game against RR, KKR, and CSK. That goes to show the fierce competition in the tournament.

LG has launched its Tone Free HBS-FN7 true wireless earphones and one can already buy it in the company’s home market of South Korea. The main highlight of this TWS is, it features active noise cancellation, and there is also another interesting feature in it. The charging case of the earphones possesses LG’s UVnano technology which emits UV rays to kill the bacteria on the earphones and sanitizes it. Let’s see what are specifications this latest HBS-FN7 has for us. The HBS-FN4 and HBS-FN6 are the predecessors of it and made their entry earlier this year.

The LG Tone Free HBS-FN7 has active noise cancellation, which is the key feature of this device. This device uses a three-microphone system in each earpiece which is able to hear the external noise and cancel it out. The sound tuning is done by Meridian Audio. Regarding the battery backup, the HBS-FN7 claims a battery life of five hours on the earpieces. There is a total of 15 hours with the case with ANC on. The Bluetooth version used by the device is the latest 5.1. It comes with support for the SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. The earphones are available in Glossy White and Matte Black color variants.

Another key feature of this device is the UV emission by the charging case to sanitize the earpieces. The charging case of the earphones possesses LG’s UVnano technology which emits UV rays to kill the bacteria on the earphones and sanitizes it. The company claims that with the help of this technology, the UV rays from the charging case kills almost 99.9% of bacteria. In this era of COVID-19, it is undoubtedly a great invention. For dust and water resistance, the earphones carry an IPXS rating. The charging case supports wireless charging as well.

Coming to the pricing and availability, the earphones are already available at a price tag of KRW 219,000 (roughly Rs. 14,300) outside South Korea. The company has already confirmed that the LG Tone Free HBS-FN7 is all set to launch in key markets of North America, Europe, and Asia pretty soon.

For selfies and video calls, this phone offers an 8MP selfie snapper at the front. The iQOO U1x has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. He has told that the FAU-G will be an alternative to the popular battle royale game PUBG.

Recently, a teaser video has just come out on the Internet of this game FAU-G. This teaser has not confirmed anything regarding the release date of this game. With the collaboration of Akshay Kumar, This game has been developed by Bengaluru-based nCore Games. The teaser is just about one minute, and it mainly gives us the plot of this upcoming game.

If we check the teaser video, we find that the first level of FAU-G that will be based on the Galwaan Valley skirmishes between India and China. Regarding the technology, this teaser shows the characters using brawler mechanics to fight with enemies. On the auspicious day of Dussehra, Akshay Kumar has released the teaser of FAU-G. As it is a teaser, there is nothing more to breakdown here, it just ends with a “coming soon” outro.

Regarding the launch, the NCore co-founder Vishal Gondal has already stated that FAU-G will get launched by the end of this month. Also, the company has promised that it will give 20% of FAU-G’s net revenues to the government’s fund-raising program Bharat Ke Veer.

So, this is gonna be a huge step from India against the Chinese. As India is trying the first time to develop such kind of game and also for the alternate of PUBG, it may be not up to the mark like PUBG.

But we need to keep in mind that this game will be purely Indian and it will also help the government’s fund-raising program Bharat Ke Veer. So we should support it from the first day and make it bigger and bigger in future.
