Leeds United are keen on signing Edinson Cavani after his move to Benfica collapsed

Former PSG forward Edinson Cavani was highly linked with Portuguese side Benfica. But the transfer talks collapsed.

Edinson Cavani is a free agent now. He left Paris Saint-Germain this June after his contract expired. The Uruguayan striker was not happy at PSG as he became irregular in the starting line-up. PSG manager Thomas Tuchel favoured Argentine striker Mauro Icard, who is on loan from Inter.

Cavani wanted to sign a three-year contract worth €10million-a-season (£8.8m) with the Portuguese side. But Benfica is not ready to sign the striker for such a high wage. Benfica believed that the striker needs to lower his expectation.

Rui Costa, Benfica’s sporting director said: “Everyone knows that Benfica was interested in Cavani, we made a proposal for him, but that ball is no longer in our court. We ended our part in the negotiations because we can’t do more than we have already done.”

“This matter is completely closed on our side. I don’t want to give the impression of having reopened anything, because we are not going to reopen. It was not possible, so we will create other solutions. We cannot now think of things that are not possible.”

After the clear clarification from Benfica other European clubs are pushing to sign the 33-year-old striker. According to various reports Manchester United, Roma and Lazio are also interested to sign the striker.

Leeds United will be playing in Premier League next season after 16 long years. They need some pure quality in the squad to fight in Premier League. Edinson Cavani will surely increase the quality of the squad.

Leeds owner, Andrea Radrizzani told: “In addition to his quality, Cavani could contribute with his physicality and adapt here, but I’ve never talked about him with the coach. Having said that, we’ve certainly thought about him and we’ll see, given he’s still available on a free transfer.”

Edinson Cavani has scored 200 goals in 301 matches for PSG. He will definitely be a good addition to the newly-promoted Premier League side, Leeds United.

G-Cam app will stop creating folders for each portrait shot

For a long time, who are using Pixel phones and using Google Camera app in it had a few problems with it. One of the main problems is its file management policy for Portrait mode shots. For every Portrait shot you had to click G-Cam to create a dedicated folder for two images, one with applied Bokeh effect which is blurred background processing, and one that is as shot. Ultimately, this raised a viewing problem for the viewers in basically any app that’s not Google Photos, on desktop too.

Now Google Cam is coming with its new update of v7.5. As reported by the officials, in this update, things will get changed. Portrait mode shots will be saved in the base camera folder. That means, we no longer have to go through hoops to compare two portrait shots in a laptop or PC. Normally your portraits will observe the chronology of other photos in your device.

According to the new feature, the files will be named differently altogether. For example, you’ll see a name like this PXL_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.PORTRAIT-01.COVER.jpg for blurred image and PXL_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.PORTRAIT-01.COVER.jpg for the pre-blurred image. So, the difference is only between 01 and 02. Earlier there was very much complexity in the case of naming. Also, using underscore separator between date and time is another good decision by Google.

Other images which are non-portraits will be named as PXL_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.jpg. Motion pictures will add an ‘MP’ before the.jpg extension. When you will click night shots, you can see those shots will manifest themselves with a ‘NIGHT’. Other features are still in development. This v7.5 of Google Camera app can only be used in Android 11, which is itself in Beta version right now.

Apple states Fortnite can come back anytime

0

Previous week Apple removed Fortnite from its iOS App Store. Apple took this step after Epic Games released an update that enabled Fortnite players to bypass Apple’s in-app purchasing system to buy V-Bucks. It additionally notified Epic that as a result of its actions, the accounts and access to iOS and Mac development tools would be terminated on August 28.

Epic Games sued Apple for this and immediately sought a temporary restraining order to prevent Apple from taking these measures. say. After that Apple filed its opposition to that TRO request, stating that the problem is entirely Epic’s own doing— Fortnite can come back anytime if Epic would simply roll back the violating update.

Epic Games filed a lawsuit against Apple and Google - 1_TechnoSports.co.in

In the Agreements made between Epic and Apple, it’s clearly spelled out that if an app developer violates the rules of Apple’s App Store or development tools then Apple will cease to work with that developer. It is applied equally to both large and small developers.

Thus Apple removed Fortnite from iOS App Store when Epic willingly violated its agreements by covertly placing a ‘hotfix’ into its app to bypass Apple’s payment system and App Review Process.

Additionally, Apple recorded that the temporary restraining orders “exist to remedy irreparable harm, not easily reparable self-inflicted wounds,” supplementing that Epic could have avoided from suffering any damage if it would have filed its lawsuit without breaching its agreements. In fact, that’s still an option.

Koeman has Coutinho in his plans for next season, will closely be watching the UCL final

0

Ronald Koeman is now at Barca and wants to bring some changes to the team. Obviously, among the plans, Coutinho will play an important role and it seems the Dutchman has already made his mind to use him next season, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Today Coutinho will play his last match for Bayern Munich that too against PSG at the Champions League final in Lisbon. Koeman will be closely watching Coutinho’s game today to make his mind to use or to use him in his squad for the upcoming season.

That’s why Koeman wants to speak personally with the playmaker after the final tonight to find out what his future plans are. The Brazilian has a contract with Barcelona until 2023 as a part of the record 120 million, plus another 40 million in different variables deal back in January 2018.

Even according to this deal Barcelona has to pay 5 million euros to Liverpool if he wins the Champions League today. That part aside, Bartomeu has already rested the decision on the coach this time and Koeman will ultimately decide his future.

Coutinho was never a winger but was a playmaking midfielder, a setup which Koeman uses in his formation. He never thrived as a left-winger and so he had been pushed to Bayern, also he lost his inner confidence due to Valverde, and the board’s no planning to use him at the Camp Nou.

The 27-year old had a mixed season for the German giants but his short cameo during the humiliating win against Barca has obviously given him some confidence for next season. Officially from tomorrow, Coutinho will be Barca player, so his today’s performance might be helpful to decide his stay at Barca.

Also, do note that, in this financial crisis selling Coutinho would be a tough job, so using a young player in the midfield would be a more sensible decision. If Bartomeu’s and Koeman’s understanding goes through then we might see the departure of Vidal and Rakitic soon, so to fill the gap a creative midfielder would be required.

Miralem Pjanic can be used in Koeman’s two holding midfielder setup and also the young Riqui Puig has earned his spot as a regular midfielder already. Now if Countinho comes in then the total setup would again bring the lost dynamism back to the Barca midfield.

Koeman has been a fan of Countinho ever since the Dutchman’s stay at Southampton and Everton, where he closely watched the Brazilian played his best form for Liverpool. Now, this will be an interesting avenue to see if Coutinho gets much deserved second chance with a proper role that he had been thriving, the Iniesta’s position for which he was signed upon. It all depends on Koeman and if Bayern wins today with Coutinho, there are chances to see the Brazilian back at Camp Nou.

Pepe Reina joins Lazio from AC Milan after a loan stint with Aston Villa

AC Milan goalkeeper Pepe Reina has now joined Lazio. He seemed interested to return to his homeland Spain and was on the verge of joining Valencia but he became frustrated with the lack of progress with Valencia. So he has now decided to join Lazio.

Champions League final: The fight for the historic treble

After a long season of football, tonight is the business end of the 2019-20 season. Bayern Munich will take on Paris Saint-Germain today in Lisbon for the UEFA Champions League glory. Both the team are on the verge of making history as both of them are on course to win a treble after winning the league and cup in their respective countries.

Bayern Munich is in a dream form right now. They humiliated Barcelona and defeated Lyon quite comfortably in the last rounds. But Bayern’s defence was caught so many times in the counter-attacks while keeping a high defensive line. PSG’s front trio Neymar-Mbappe-Di Maria will surely try to use their pace to exploit the faults of Bayern’s defence.

Bayern’s Manager Hansi Flick is confident about their style of play. He said to the press: “In our games over the last 10 months we’ve always tried to impose our style on the opposition. We’ve always played with a high line and ultimately we’ve got results doing that so we won’t change too much.”

Flick said about German defender Jerome Boateng’s injury issue: “I hope Jerome will be fit. After training, we will debate how to go forward.”

“If we are able to produce our best performance, if we are all at 100 percent, we will be able to win”.

PSG are also ready to write their name in history today. Their manager Thomas Tuchel is respecting the Bayern’s experience of this high-voltage match. The PSG boss said: “It is a small advantage for Bayern that they are used as a club to playing these games. I accept that, but it is not a decisive advantage.”

World Cup winning PSG star Mbappe said: “This is exactly why I came here. I always said that I wanted to go down in my country’s history. (This) is another chance to do that”.

Only seven different clubs have won the historic treble [comprising of the European title, Domestic League and Domestic Cup] in the past, including Bayern Munich in 2013. Only Spanish side Barcelona has won two trebles in history. Can Bayern Munich join them today? Or it’s time for PSG to join the elite list?

The Xbox chief explains the weird design behind Sony’s PS5

0

The head-to-head rivalry between Xbox and PlayStation has been going since ages, however, Playstations have always dominated the Xbox, but both of them still continue to deliver exceptional console gaming experience. Both of them are all set to launch their upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X this fall and apart from pricing almost all hardware aspects have been confirmed by both the companies.

Interestingly, Phil Spencer, the Xbox head had commented about the design of its rival Sony’s PS5 which Sony never talked about it in detail, surely will do in the actual launch. However, Spencer has taken this opportunity to explain in a talk show Animal Talking, hosted by video-game journalist, Gary Whitta. He was asked about what he thought when he first saw the design of the PS5:

Report - Sony boosted PS5 production by 50 percent_TechnoSports.co.in

“Well, it’s hard, because I know the physics that we’re both dealing with with the power of these consoles, and cooling these consoles — the power, the energy use, the cooling — those are real challenges this generation, because we’re talking about consoles that now, on the CPU and GPU side, are real, powerful computers, effectively,” Spencer said.

“We chose our design because we wanted a large fan that we could spin a little more slowly so we’re not making noise,” Spencer explained about the Xbox Series X. “We wanted to have a very quiet console. So we built a form-followed-function design with our console so that we could draw a lot of air with a big fan spinning a little bit slower so that we didn’t get those high-pitch whining sounds that sometimes consoles can make.”

“Knowing that the PlayStation 5 is running at higher clocks […] it creates unique design challenges in how you keep these things cool,” said Spencer. “That’s true of both of us, so that’s not a shot. They took an approach that’s different than the approach that we did [with Xbox Series X]. I haven’t been around a PlayStation 5 running, but I am sure that they had similar design goals for themselves around what it means to run, how it sounds, and how much power it’s drawing because those are things that we focused on and it led to the design that we have.”

Check out the total episode of the talk show:

I liked the fact how Phil was open to the design perspectives and share the design point of view for both the new consoles and he even told that he would inevitably end up owning one PS5 for him, and he’s also excited to see how its rival performs. Considering the fact how hard it is to implement a console so that it performs the best, makes them much more special and interesting.
