Aubameyang replies to Toni Kroos as he slammed elaborate celebrations

0

Toni Kroos is one of the best midfielders on the planet and is known for having a great mentality when it comes to matters on the pitch. The German was under the spotlight for calling out UEFA and FIFA on a podcast with his brother.

He has further been the target of news headlines for criticism of rehearsed celebrations, as performed by a lot of fellow players.

Speaking about the celebrations after scoring a goal, Kroos went on and had a shot at Barcelona striker Antoine Griezmann and Arsenal talisman Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

“If there are rehearsed dances or choreographies, I think it’s very silly. Or even worse: If there are any objects hidden in studs. Mr Aubameyang celebrated this and took out his mask. That’s where it stops with me.”

The midfielder criticised Griezmann’s Fortnite dance celebration, which is one of his many post-goal routines.

Instead, Kroos talked about the beauty in the simplicity of celebrating goals, citing legendary Germany striker Gerd Muller as an example. He argues that when Muller “jumped up and pulled up his pants, it was still a real joy.”

The Real Madrid player mentioned Aubameyang by name and further went on to call him a poor role model. The Gabon international has since responded to Kroos’ comments on himself on Twitter.

Aubameyang first asked Kroos if he had actually said all those things, and later put out a Tweet defending his actions and explaining the sentiment behind his elaborate celebrations. Kroos has still not responded to any of the messages publicly yet.

This is what the Arsenal man had to say about pulling out the Black Panther mask after scoring against Rennes in the Europa League a few years ago:

‘I needed a mask which represents me and that’s the Black Panther. In Gabon, we call the national team the Panthers”

While there is no harm in expressing happiness in different ways, Kroos definitely likes the old-fashioned way of celebrating goals.

Alena and Puig deemed surplus to requirements by Barcelona

The amount of pressure that Ronald Koeman was under when he took the Barcelona job is not a matter of joke. The Dutch tactician has since managed to reverse his perception among Barcelona fans following some decent performances from the team.

However, that could soon change considering that Riqui Puig is among the six players deemed surplus to requirements by the man in charge at Camp Nou.

Barcelona fans are some of the most passionate supporters in the world and are also quick to criticise flaws. Puig has managed to build a reputation among the fans as a wonderkid and is the future of the Barcelona midfield in the eyes of many.

Ansu Fati and Riqui Puig show their talent in the match against Leganes

Puig was supposed to be sent out on loan to get some well-needed game time but decided to stay at his boyhood club and fight the likes of Frenkie De Jong, Sergio Busquets and Miralem Pjanic for minutes in the heart of the park.

The youngster has only featured once for the first team and has spent most of his time on the bench. In addition, Carles Alena is also not a part of Koeman’s plans for the club.

Junior Firpo, Samuel Umtiti, Matheus Fernandes and Martin Braithwaite are amongst the players who have been encouraged to move on by the coach.

Samuel Umtiti to be shown the exit door this time by FC Barcelona

The club will be intending to sanction transfers for all the players. However, they would be wise to send Alena and Puig on loan to another team so that they can develop their game.

Should they sell the pair, the inclusion of a buy-back clause could put Barcelona in an advantage if they turn out to be impressive elsewhere.

Samuel Umtiti has not featured under Koeman, and neither has Matheus Fernandes. It is imperative that the club will be looking to get rid of them, along with Junior Firpo, permanently.

OPINION: Is it wise to conduct international football friendlies during such times of distress?

0

The international break is generally considered as a time for footballers around the world to recharge their batteries or even get a run out returning from injuries and discomforts to gain a level of match fitness.

But during unprecedented times where club football schedules are already compressed and hurried in nature, is it really a necessity to conduct international friendlies which can, in fact, lead to injuries and further chaos in the football community?

Consider the last few days in motion as examples. England manager Gareth Southgate announced in his press conference that Liverpool defender Joe Gomez was injured in a training session and went down with a level of excruciating pain. It was later revealed after scans that he had suffered tendon damage and could now be out for a largely extended period of at least 6 months before he can begin rehabilitation.

Last night in the friendly between Spain and Netherlands, Manchester City defender Nathan Ake clutched his hamstring and went down with some discomfort. This was merely 5 minutes into the game. Both clubs, Liverpool and Manchester City will raise the same question – are friendlies playing with the national team really necessary in the present time?

Man City suffer injury scare as Nathan Ake limps off in Holland's friendly with Spain | Daily Mail Online

Granted, the UEFA Nations League matches must be allowed to go on considering it is an official competition that has prior approval from the governing body. But, the matches scheduled otherwise will only really give rise to more uncertainties in a time plagued by the coronavirus pandemic.

One can actually make the point that instead of restraining COVID positive cases, the regrouping of national team camps will in fact give rise to further spreading of the virus. It also increases the fatigue of a player’s workload at a time where training sessions are differently conducted.

Therefore, FIFA really need to look into this issue and hopefully, there are at least reduced, or even better, at least no friendly matches in the next international break.

Frank de Boer is officially the worst Netherlands manager ever

0

The Netherlands national team has not been the same since Ronald Koeman left the job to save a sinking ship called FC Barcelona. Frank de Boer was given the job after a spell managing Atlanta United in the MLS.

How that came to be is something that many fans were scratching their heads over. Those same fans are now furious with the coach, who has statistically proven to be the worst of them all as he has failed to win a single match in all the four games that he has been in charge of.

The Oranje managed to earn a draw against mighty Spain last night, stretching Frank de Boer’s winless run to four games straight. Donny Van de Beek managed to find the back of the net for the national team and made a strong case to be in a starting position for Manchester United.

On the other hand, Sergio Canales managed to open the scoring when he put the 2010 World Cup winners ahead in the 18th minute itself.

De Boer’s team did manage to equalise shortly after the half time mark but failed to find the win in the friendly fixture.

Although he was an amazing footballer during his playing days, as shown by his time playing for Barcelona and Ajax, along with the national team, his hand at coaching the national team has been disappointing so far.

He did a great job at Ajax, where he started out as caretaker manager but eventually transitioned into a full-time role. The former player led the club to four consecutive Eredivisie titles, making history as a coach.

Inter Milan and Crystal Palace are the other blemishes on the coach’s resume. He was sacked from the Inter job after only 85 days in charge, and after only 5 matches for Palace, with no goals scored.

AMD and IBM join hands to target Confidential Computing

0

Cloud computing is one of the fastest-growing markets, and as such many high-end businesses are looking forward to eating a piece of this pie. Recently, AMD and IBM announced a multi-year partnership targeting the growing Computing cloud sector.

Chips from AMD’s rival, Intel Corporation, are already employed in this sector. However, AMD and IBM plan to develop solutions in overcoming the last hurdle in adopting cloud computing by companies mindful of their data security.

Data security for cloud computing has three sub-areas. When the data is stored, when it is being transferred, and when it is being processed. Ensuring storage and share security is vital as cloud users have often expressed concerns about when this data is being processed.

When processing is taking place, standard security processes such as encryption need to be removed. It results in information that is present in a processor’s memory being vulnerable to malicious access.

AMD and IBM’s partnership will focus on open-source software, standards, and architecture. Their collaboration also targets HPC accelerators, encryption, and virtualization. They aim to solve data security during processing by implementing hardware-based Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs). It cannot be accessed by the operating system and is encrypted.

AMD’s Epyc processors feature Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEVto generate encrypted keys for data protection. Google also announced that it would use AMD’s second-generation Epyc processors for its Confidential Virtual Machines.

The involved party cannot view the keys in virtual computing. When using AMD chips, corporations do not have to tweak their workloads to work with SEV.

Some good titles to play on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

0

The next-gen consoles have been launched, and some lucky gamers have already got their hands on the devices. But now the question remains as to what are the best games available to play on the consoles. Well, worry, not. Though most of the much-anticipated titles like cyberpunk and god of war are still in development, we do have some exclusive titles for you to choose from.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

I still remember playing my first assassin creed game and hunting the templars. Well, times have changed, and we have moved from the middle east to medieval England. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is very similar to 2018’s Odyssey. It’s a sprawling, detailed, and fascinating world, and one with less focus on the stealthy assassinations that defined early entries in the franchise. It’s more like a hack and slash version with a touch of early assassin strategies.

The game follows a group of Vikings as they leave their home in Norway to carve out a new life in England. It has some new odd features like drinking competitions and rhyme battles.

Astro’s Playroom – PS5

This game comes bundled with every PS5. The game utilizes haptic feedback to simulate sensations like walking on sand or the feel of blowing wind. The adaptive triggers create a new form of feedback, with tension to mimic things like pulling the string on a bow or stretching out a spring.

Bugsnax – PS5

Bugsnax is a game where you play what looks like a muppet, exploring an island full of tiny creatures that look like fast food. the job is to catch them and feed them to various other island residents.

The game has a Pokémon-like feel, with a vast variety of creatures to find. Each of which requires a different strategy to capture. PlayStation Plus subscribers get the game for free.

Dirt 5 – PS5 and Xbox Series X

Dirt 5 is an off-road racer with tracks that span the globe. In China, foggy wetlands, a blinding snowstorm in Norway, a painfully beautiful sunlit afternoon in Brazil, and more ways to travel. It runs incredible and is backed up by gameplay that feels straight out of an arcade cabinet.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales – PS5

It’s a smaller spinoff, but Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a better game than its predecessor. It has a more engaging story and all kinds of new powers to mess around with, like invisibility. you can beat the game in under 10 hours, but there are lots of sides.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon – Xbox Series X

The latest Yakuza introduces a new character called Ichiban Kasuga. He’s still a criminal with a heart of gold, but Kasuga also happens to be a giant nerd, one obsessed with RPGs like Dragon Quest. Aside from those two significant changes, the game is classic Yakuza. That means you’ll spend a lot of time beating up thugs, slurping down ramen, and generally saving the day.

0

Oppo is all set to celebrate the consumer’s innovations showcase events Aka Inno Day 2020 edition on November 17 in Shenzhen, China. This event by Oppo is nothing but a platform to share the demo versions of the company’s latest development in the mobile world. Every year, Oppo organizes this event and showcase the upcoming magics from the company. For example, last year in this Inno Day event, Oppo has shown the demo of its under-display camera, AR headset, and 5G connectivity supported router as well.

Let’s see what we can expect from this year’s event. As per reports, this year Oppo is going to highlight some of its folding phone prototypes, alongside 2nd Gen in-display camera, and charging developments as well. Earlier Oppo has come up with its 32MP periscope cam. This lens is much capable to shoot from 85mm to 135mm focal length. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra tipped to support S Pen

0

Samsung will introduce its Galaxy S21 series next year. Samsung is expected to launch three variants of the S21 series: S21, S21+ & S21 Ultra. Among them, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is rumored to have S-pen support with it. On the other hand, a renowned tipster has made a post on his Twitter handle that Galaxy S21 is confirmed to have a support of S-pen. But Samsung itself has not confirmed anything yet regarding this issue.

There is another confusion regarding the S-pen. We can find the support of S-pen in the Galaxy Note series. So, the question arises that whether Samsung will use the S-pen as the Note series on the upcoming S21 Ultra or else the company will make a new low latency S-pen and use it with the S21 Ultra. As per the Twitter post, the news is confirmed, but no confirmation from Samsung.

If Samsung will use an S-pen with its S21 Ultra, then the display technology has to be improved. In other words, the Galaxy S21 Ultra needs to come with a digitizer underneath the display to pick up inputs from the S-pen. If this happens, the Galaxy S series and the Galaxy Note series will be almost similar to each other. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to feature a QHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. A QHD+ display is obviously a better one than FHD+. That’s why Samsung may use a digitizer under the display to make full use of an S-pen with it.
