New images of the iPhone 13 screen protector hint at smaller Notch

0

Rumors and leaks regarding the iPhone 13 design are all around the market currently. Recently, some hints say the iPhone 13 series will have a comparatively bigger main camera module than iPhone 12. Not, a leaker knew as DuanRui share some images of the “film samples” or screen protectors that give a clear idea about the notch of the iPhone 13 series. He shared some images of the same earlier though, this time it’s in comparison to the iPhone 12.

The comparison shows the notch is smaller than the notch of the existing iPhone 12. That because of the replacement of the earpiece. The small cutout in the top middle indicates the earpiece will be placed into the top bezel, just at the top of the TrueDepth camera and FaceID components.

Actually, these recent images strengthen the rumor of the iPhone 13 series with a smaller notch and raise expectations higher. The rumor was already there in the market. DigiTimes, in February, claimed that the iPhone 13 will have a redesigned FaceID system that will cause a smaller notch. The Apple analyst Ming-Chi also said the same regarding the notch, though, he didn’t mention the about placement of the earpiece.

The notch in iPhones remains the same from the arrival of the iPhone X in 2017. Now, it seems a change is coming next year.

Ronald Koeman is happy with Barcelona’s Copa del Rey win and will fight for La Liga till the end

0

Despite losing to their eternal rivals, Real Madrid, by a 2-1 margin last weekend, Barcelona have turned around their fortunes by winning the Copa del Rey title against Athletic Club.

Lionel Messi scored a brace to guide Barcelona to a 4-0 win in the final. Koeman’s men didn’t have a good start to the season, but they have now won the Copa del Rey and have a slight chance of winning the La Liga title as well. Koeman has done a good job with the team lately, despite doubts about his Barcelona future.

Ronald Koeman said after the Copa del Rey win: “It’s a fantastic feeling. Getting to the final was difficult, with those extra time games…”

“We’re very happy and we deserved to win at least one trophy this season. The club deserves it. It’s a really important trophy for the club in a year of change. The team always had faith in winning something. It’s a happy day for all Barcelona fans. It’s a deserved success.”

“We’ve made changes to the team this season, but the players have bought into it. I want to credit the team’s attitude, especially in the Copa, where we’ve suffered a lot. We were hungry. Now we have one trophy in the bag and we’re going to go for a second. We will fight for LaLiga until the last day.”

Koeman also commented on Messi: “He’s always on hand. I don’t know what will happen [with his future].”

“Hopefully this wasn’t his last [final]. Everyone wants him to stay.”

Joan Laporta is convinced that Messi wants to stay at Barcelona

0

FC Barcelona defeated Athletic Club by a 4-0 margin, and Messi played a big part in it, scoring two goals in the Copa del Rey final.

This Copa del Rey win is the first trophy of Joan Laporta’s new reign as the Barcelona president. This is also the first title in two years for Barcelona as they went trophyless for quite some time considering their high standards.

Their starman Lionel Messi also wanted to leave the club last summer but was not allowed to do so by then-president Josep Maria Bartomeu. However, Messi’s contract ends this summer, and he is yet to agree to a contract extension. But Joan Laporta is convinced that Messi wants to stay at Camp Nou.

Laporta told Telecinco after the Copa del Rey win, via Marca: “Leo is the best player in the world. He’s very attached to this club.”

“I’m convinced that he wants to stay and we’ll do everything in our power so that he stays. Today, we saw that he’s surrounded by a great team. They played some very good football.”

Laporta further said: “We were really eager to get back to winning things and we’ve done it. It was a great final against a great team.”

“The players needed this. We’re happy for the players, the coaching staff and the fans. I hope this is the first Copa of an era of lots of Copas.”

Laporta concluded: “Koeman and the team are doing very well. I’m very happy for them.”

AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT review: The new 1440p champion from the Red team

0

Last month, AMD announced their successor to their insanely popular 1440p gaming champion RX 5700 XT, the new AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT at $479 which isn’t the cheapest but challenges NVIDIA’s popular RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070.

The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT reference GPU that can be brought from AMD will be priced at ₹ 38,990 + 18% GST in India. So, this makes the new GPU costlier than the RTX 3060 Ti but just cheaper than the RTX 3070 but is targeted towards 1440p gaming.

However, the main problem is that getting at ₹ 46k is a myth only, but AMD has promised enough availability, and if you cannot get the reference model, you can always get the costlier custom AIB cards.

Having played around with the card for some weeks now, I can tell you it’s powerful but getting one in the market at good prices is very hard. The best part is that if you can pair it with a newer AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor and enable exclusive features like Smart Access Memory, you can get great performance.

AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT review: The new 1440p champion from the Red team

We have already reviewed the AMD Radeon RX 6800 series GPUs and they are great for 4K gaming but the case with the new RX 6700 XT is a bit different. So, let’s see how the new RDNA 2 GPU performs both in productivity as well as gaming:

Test Config Specifications:

  • Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 UD
  • CPU:  AMD Ryzen 7 5800X or AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
  • RAM: 32GB 3200MHz
  • SSD: 240GB WD Sn550, 480GB Crucial SATA SSD
  • Power Supply: Cooler Master 750W
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
  • CPU Cooler: Deepcool Gammaxx GTE V2
  • Cabinet: MSI Mag Forge 100R

AMD Radeon™ RX 6700 XT 4012GB2424Up to 2581192 bit96MB

In terms of specifications, the Radeon RX 6700 XT has a lot fewer Compute Units than the RX 6800 but amends with the pretty high clock speeds; actually, it’s pretty higher than you could imagine. This shows with proper cooling, these new AMD Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs are excellent performers. However, I do have to give credit to the design of this GPU.

If you thought only the AMD Radeon RX 6800 series GPUs and the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT looks cool with triple fans and gives better cooling, then you are mistaken. Those beefier reference GPUs didn’t give as much performance as they could with a better thermal design, but the RX 6700 XT is a beast, and its unique design keeps the GPU really cool even after testing it for hours.

This is one of the best-looking dual-fan reference GPUs from AMD and even looks better than NVIDIA’s RTX reference GPUs. It fits perfectly into your system and needs a lesser TDP of 230W, and is quite silent until you push at extreme levels, so in terms of thermals, the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT reference GPU is a great piece of engineering.

The GPU was tested at around 30 degrees Celsius room temperature, and at that, performance seems to be incredible. I used Windows 10 Pro version 20H2(build 19402) for the test, and here are the results I got at stock:

Productivity

Though it’s not targeted solely towards productivity usage, however, the RX 6700 XT enjoys the 12 GB GDRR6 VRAM that can indeed help content creators. In this segment, we have used our Ryzen 7 5800X for benchmarks without turning on SAM:

AMD has always been a great choice for productivity-centric people, and the RX 6700 XT performs quite well in all of these benchmarks. However, much like the RX 6800 series cards, the new 1440p GPU also struggles in Ray tracing as we see the card struggle and delivering half the score of RTX 3080 in the 3DMark Port Royal test.

However, if you are both a gamer and want to work on productivity workloads, the RX 6700 XT won’t disappoint you at all. The extra amount of VRAM can be used by many productivity applications and impact if you are willing to spend enough for the RX 6700 XT, so a win-win situation from both perspectives.

Gaming

In gaming, the RX 6700 XT is targeted towards 1440p gaming and does deliver good frame rates in modern triple-A and eSports titles. However, NVIDIA enjoys its own creation i.e. DLSS, which gives them a slight advantage as well as a wide number of games with NVIDIA RTX support.

AMD enjoys its tech like Smart Access Memory that gives an edge over its competitors if you have both a Ryzen CPU and a Radeon GPU. I did turn the feature on with the Ryzen 9 5900X and here are the benchmarks of all the modern games at different settings:

As you see in our benchmarks, paired with a Ryzen CPU or even any Ryzen 5000 series processor and turning on SAM, you get great performance across various games at 1440p. Be it a heavy title like Cyberpunk 2077; you will get 60 FPS at 1440p easily while enjoying hundreds of FPS in eSports titles like CSGO or Valorant.

Our RX 6800 series review also saw AMD has a clear advantage over NVIDIA in raw 1440p gaming performance, but the lack of DLSS sometimes makes things messy for team Red. However, the good news is that AMD is working on a DLSS replacement and will be coming to PC and consoles across a wide range of titles, so we will be waiting to see if these scores improve and how they stack up against NVIDIA.

AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT review: The new 1440p champion from the Red team

Verdict

AMD has changed the way of gaming with both Ryzen 5000 processors and new RDNA 2 based GPUs. However, it lacks in two aspects against NVIDIA – 1. DLSS and 2. Ray tracing, two are key factors that lack AMD cards, which is why the ray tracing performance is so weak.

The price of these RX 6000 series GPUs isn’t low, though, but missing out on these important technologies does keep NVIDIA ahead in terms of gaming.

AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT review: The new 1440p champion from the Red team

However, the raw gaming performance of the RX 6700 XT is no joke as it delivers the handsome 1440p gaming experience AMD promised. Still, the $479 price tag and the availability issue are a thing that needs to be addressed.

As a whole, for both 1440p gaming and a decent productivity experience, the Radeon RX 6700 XT is a must-have in the mid-range segment. The global chip crisis has affected the availability of these cards, so getting them at MSRP is sadly very tough, so better luck hunting the RX 6700 XT.

Lionel Messi is delighted to lift his first Copa del Rey trophy as Barcelona captain

Lionel Messi took over the Barcelona armband from Andres Iniesta in 2018. The Argentine has been phenomenal for the Spanish club over the last decade and has been their main player.

After taking over as the Barcelona captain, this was the first Copa del Rey win for Messi. He scored two goals in the final and Barcelona eventually won the final against Athletic Bilbao by a 4-0 margin.

Lionel Messi was delighted to lift his first Copa del Rey trophy as captain. He told Barca TV, via Marca: “It’s very special to be the captain of this club. It’s a very special Copa for me because I’m able to lift it [myself].”

“Not being able to celebrate it with our fans is a pity. The situation is what we have to live with. It’s a shame. The Copas are always special and the fans enjoy them a lot. These are two clubs that are used to these finals and [used to] enjoying them a lot.”

Messi further added: “We knew that Athletic play like this with a very rigid 4-4-2. We were patient on the ball and created our own space. We moved about a lot in the first half and I think they dropped off in the second.”

Messi concluded: “We found it difficult to get started in the first half of the season. We dropped points out of innocence. We’ve been getting stronger, very good, and we’re in the title race.”

“The other day, unfortunately, we weren’t able to get a good result in the Clasico.”

Pogba reveals he is enjoying midfield partnership with Bruno Fernandes

Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes are always a treat to watch together. Both midfielders are an integral part of Manchester United’s recent performance.

Pogba missed six weeks of football due to a hamstring injury. Since his return, he has helped Manchester United in the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League. The Red Devils are also in second place in the Premier League.

However, in recent interviews, Paul Pogba confirmed that he is enjoying his time at Old Trafford now. He also explained the healthy relationship between him and the manager. He also revealed that he is enjoying the midfield partnership with Bruno Fernandes.

“I enjoy playing with Bruno.“Pogba told MUTV.

“He’s someone who understands the game and understands the movement that can give you a beautiful pass, he can finish too.”

“He’s all over the place, he can do everything really… except defending! But really, it’s always a joy to play with him, to understand him. He understands me as well, he can take my position, I can take his position as well.”

“I think he suits the team, he’s a very dominant influence in our team.”-he added.

Manchester United are yet to win a trophy since the 2016-17 season. United fans will love to see this Bruno-Pogba duo ends the bad phase of the club at the end of the season.

Samsung is currently working on its two upcoming A-series of smartphones, named Galaxy A22 (4G and 5G) and Galaxy A32 (new variant). So, let’s talk about each of the devices in brief.

Samsung Galaxy A22:

Samsung is about to launch the Galaxy A22 smartphone very soon and it is said to be the most affordable 5G smartphone in the market. However, several markets like India may get the 4G variant of the Galaxy A22 as well, as the Galaxy A22 4G has already been listed and approved by the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website with the model number SM-A225F. So, the launch is expected to be very soon. However, the same device has been spotted on HTML5Test benchmarks, revealing that it will run on Android 11 OS.

Star India retains Pro Kabaddi league broadcasting rights for the next 5 years

Star Network retains the broadcasting rights of the Pro Kabaddi League for the next 5 years.

A few days back, a tender was issued by Mashal Sports for the broadcasting rights. Mashal Sports invited bids for that. As per some reports, Star Network was the only bidder for the broadcasting rights. Star will now broadcast & LIVE Stream PKL on their channels for the next 5 years.

PKL tender was completed on Friday as Delhi High Court allowed Mashal Sports to conduct the tender. In their interim order Court announced a condition that any future order of the court will be binding on the result of the tender.

A petition was submitted against Mashal Sports. The petitioner alleged, “When the contract period between Mashal Sports and AKFI is for 10 years, who gave the authority to Mashal Sports to conduct the tender beyond that contract period.”

Mashal Sports spokesperson told, “Our Media Rights offering for ensuing 5 PKL Seasons (2021 – 2025) are based on the relevant rights and contractual frameworks.”

The base price of the PKL Media Rights tender was fixed at 900 Cr. Many parties bought the tender document. But no one comes up with a real bid for the PKL rights. Star Network won the unchallenged race and got the broadcasting rights for the next 5 years.
