The entertainment world is buzzing after Ashneer Grover reignited his feud with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The BharatPe founder has made explosive claims about the Bigg Boss host, accusing him of “hijacking” the show and creating unnecessary drama. But what’s the real story behind this high-profile clash?

The Origin Story: How It All Started

The controversy between Ashneer Grover and Salman Khan dates back to their business relationship when Salman was once the brand ambassador of BharatPe. According to Ashneer Grover, their first meeting during a brand collaboration didn’t go smoothly, with Salman’s manager allegedly informing him that the actor wouldn’t pose for a photo with him.

This initial snub set the stage for the public feud that would later explode on national television.

The Bigg Boss 18 Showdown

When Ashneer Grover appeared on Bigg Boss 18’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode, what was supposed to be a friendly celebrity interaction turned into a confrontational face-off. Salman Khan quickly called Ashneer out for his previous comments against him, leading to a heated exchange that made headlines.

The most shocking moment came when Salman claimed he had never met Ashneer before, despite their previous business relationship.

Ashneer’s Explosive Response

Ashneer Grover hasn’t held back in his recent statements, making several damaging accusations:

Ashneer’s Claims	Details
Show hijacking	Accused Salman of dominating Bigg Boss format
Unnecessary conflict	Claims Salman “picked a fight” for controversy
Memory denial	Says Salman pretended not to know him despite past collaboration
Professional slight	Alleges being snubbed during photo opportunities
Compensation jab	Suggested he’d only join BB if paid more than Salman

The “Weekend” Dig That Started It All

In his latest controversial statement, Ashneer Grover took a direct swipe at Salman’s role on Bigg Boss, saying “Bhai aap to ek weekend mein aa rahe ho” (Brother, you’re only coming for one weekend), implying that Salman’s involvement is minimal compared to the contestants who stay for months.

This comment has been interpreted as Ashneer Grover questioning Salman’s dominance and influence over the show’s format and decisions.

What Industry Insiders Are Saying

The entertainment industry is divided on this controversy. While some support Ashneer Grover’s right to speak his mind, others believe he’s unnecessarily targeting one of Bollywood’s biggest stars.

Grover maintains that “he created unnecessary competition by picking a fight,” suggesting that Salman deliberately escalated the situation for dramatic effect.

The Business Angle

Ashneer Grover, known for his sharp business acumen from Shark Tank India, has also made financial implications in this feud. He revealed that while he was approached to participate in Bigg Boss, he politely declined, joking that he would only consider it if offered a contract worth more than Salman Khan’s compensation.

This statement highlights the financial dynamics at play in reality television and celebrity appearances.

The controversy has exploded across social media platforms, with fans divided into Team Ashneer and Team Salman. Ashneer took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his perspective on the interaction, further fueling the debate.

Ashneer Grover’s supporters appreciate his direct approach and refusal to be intimidated by Bollywood’s established hierarchy, while Salman Khan’s fans defend their idol against what they see as unprovoked attacks.

The Bigger Picture

This controversy reflects larger issues in the entertainment industry, including power dynamics, celebrity egos, and the blurred lines between business and personal relationships. Ashneer Grover’s bold stance against one of Bollywood’s most powerful figures has sparked conversations about accountability and genuine interactions in showbiz.

What’s Next?

As the controversy continues to unfold, both Ashneer Grover and Salman Khan remain in the spotlight. Recent interviews suggest that Ashneer isn’t backing down and continues to emphasize that he was merely praising Salman initially.

Whether this feud will escalate further or eventually cool down remains to be seen, but one thing is certain – Ashneer Grover has successfully captured public attention once again.
