Hunger: Netflix has Confirmed the Official Release Date of the Thai Thriller Film

The Thai language thriller drama has dropped a new trailer titled ‘Hunger’. This thriller follows the tale of a chef who has been advised that Aoy. She is a young woman working at her family’s nondescript noodle shop has been provided in the opening moments of the trailer.

The brand-new Thai drama will be out on Netflix next month. In this he has just indicated towards greater things by a mysterious man, Aoy has been plucked from her life of drudgery and thrown headfirst into the cutthroat world of haute cuisine.

Hunger

In this film, Aoy is played by Chutimon “Aokbab” Chuengcharoensukying, who has worked in the kitchen of Hunger. Generally, a question arises what is Hunger? Hunter is mainly the brainchild of Thailand’s top fine-dining chef Paul features Nopachai “Peter” Jayanama. She knew immediately that she was in over her head, as she has been yelled at for not slicing prime A5 Wagyu with clinical precision.

In this Thai thriller, the ambitious Aoy soon learns what goes into creating exclusive meals for the one-percenters. “The poor eat to end their hunger. While you have more than enough to eat, your hunger doesn’t end,” said a man in the voiceover. We have shown the shots of the noodle shop where Aoy used to work, having a private service where the Hunger collaborate on providing for the wealthy elite, for the classy affair morphs into something more horrific.

This is enough to extend any comparisons between this film, and the recent eat-the-rich hit The Menu. It is true that Hunger has appeared to be more of a dramatic thriller than a satire, we get plenty of commentary about the class divide. Additionally, luxurious shots of food might remember the audience of Netflix’s documentary series Chef’s Table. Among all the things one of the main goals here, as with The Menu. It seems to be to dismantle the unwarranted importance that is given to fine dining and to break the pristine facade. Last year, we have seen this in the thrilling one-shot film Boiling Point,

Along with this Bangkok, of course, is one of the world’s most high-profile food destinations, where Michelin-featured street food vendors exist alongside celebrity chefs whose restaurants can have waiting periods of up to six months. They rarely rub shoulders, and that’s part of what Hunger is trying to get at. Netflix has been ramping up this Thai content in recent months.

The Thai thriller film has been directed by Sitisiri Mongkolsiri and also stars Gunn Svasti Na Ayudhya,
