OUR by Hwang Minhyun: A Quiet Love Song for When Seasons Change but Feelings Don’t

Not every comeback needs big choreography and louder beats. Sometimes a song just says what it feels, simply and honestly. That’s the approach Hwang Minhyun takes with his new digital single “OUR.”

OUR Release Date

On October 7 at 6 p.m. KST, Hwang Minhyun returned with “OUR” and a music video for the track.

What Is “OUR” About?

The song is built around a simple, comforting idea. Seasons change and familiar days go by, but the feelings two people have for each other stay the same. It’s a love song about constancy, which is a refreshing theme in a genre that often focuses on drama and heartbreak.

The minimalistic composition suits that message. With a medium-tempo pop sound and little clutter, the song leaves room for Minhyun’s voice and the emotion behind it. It’s the kind of track that works well for late-night listening or a quiet commute.

Why It’s Worth a Listen?

Honest emotion. Soompi’s headline says Minhyun “honestly conveys his feelings” in the MV, and the song’s stripped-back style supports that.

An easy listen. The medium tempo makes it easy to put on repeat, whether or not you’re a long-time fan.

A comeback with a gentle touch. After projects like the drama Study Group, it’s a nice reminder of his musical side. You can watch him in Study Group on Viki while you’re waiting for more news.
