Halloween is close, and Netflix has a scare ready for your living room. The Conjuring: Unspoken is a new interactive horror game set in the Conjuring universe, and it launches exclusively on Netflix on October 13, 2026. The first official trailer and a batch of new screenshots are already out.
How Your Phone Becomes the Controller
This isn’t one of the mobile games you may have seen in the Netflix app. It’s a TV game, played from your couch, in the same style as Netflix’s recent horror game Unhinged. Your television shows the world, while your smartphone becomes your controller and your ghost-hunting toolkit. As you explore the reportedly haunted Red Lion Inn in England, your phone turns into an EMF reader, an infrared camera and a spirit box. You can look down at the screen for a thermal overlay of the room, which helps you spot cold spots and presences that don’t show up on the TV. As in Netflix’s old interactive specials, your dialogue choices shape the story, so who survives is up to you.
The game was made with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Supermassive Games, the studio behind Until Dawn, Little Hope and House of Ashes. If you loved Until Dawn, this should feel familiar.

The Conjuring: Unspoken: The Story and What the Trailer Shows
You play Francesca Noakes, a demonologist called to investigate the centuries-old Red Lion Inn. A grieving family, the Coopers, arrives, and things quickly turn supernatural. Dolls go missing, the daughter hears her late mother’s voice whispering in the dark, and a ballerina music box starts playing on its own. After a failed séance, things escalate. Your job is to free the family from a grief-feeding demon named Vinea and a ghost from English folklore called Florrie.
The trailer shows dark, cinematic visuals, with the protagonist holding up her ghost-hunting tech in the dim corridors of the inn. It also shows the creepy, weathered music box and a deeply unsettled young girl from the Cooper family, which sets a tense, atmospheric tone.
