ASUS will be releasing its ROG Phone 6 Series on the 5th of July in Taiwan, China, and the United States. The device will also be arriving in various other markets, it seems that the brand will be releasing the phone in multiple other markets as well because the most recent report indicates that internal testing of the phone has already begun.
ASUS ROG Phone 6 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chipset:
Tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed that the internal testing has begun, which indicates that it could launch very soon in India. Similar to its predecessors, the ROG 6 lineup will be available via Flipkart. If you did not know, the latest gaming lineup was seen on the TENAA certification site and the images that have surfaced hint that it comes with a revamped rear design.
So far we know the ASUS ROG Phone 6 will feature a 6.78″ AMOLED display with support for a Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 165Hz. It will run on Android 12 OS with ROG UI on top.
The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chipset will power it and it is paired with 18GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. In terms of battery life, it has a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fas charging support.
In the optics department, we will get to see a 64MP primary sensor, along with two other secondary sensors, and on the front, it has a 12MP selfie shooter. In terms of biometrics, it has an integrated fingerprint scanner.
We are not sure as to how many devices will be launched in this lineup, similar to its predecessor, we could see three models. We will have to wait just a couple of days more to get some solid information about the lineup.
