Carlo Ancelotti has returned to Santiago Bernebeu after 6 years as Real Madrid’s head coach replacing former manager Zinedine Zidane. However on the Italian’s return to the Spanish capital he is facing issues with the Spanish tax authorities.
On Monday, Carlo Ancelotti’s name came up in Hacienda-Spain’s tax authorities i.e the list of the major tax debtors. After this Real Madrid have been instructed by the authorities to freeze Ancelotti’s payments for now.
Carlo Ancelotti reportedly owes 1,462,562 euros to the Agencia Tributaria from his past venture with Real Madrid lasting 2 years from 2013 to 2015.
Due to some issues regarding image rights previously in his last stay in Madrid for 2 years Carlo Ancelotti had not correctly declared his income during those two years.
Moreover, he has been summoned to appear at the 35th Madrid investigating court on 23rd of July.
