Redmi Note 9 was launched on April 31st last year globally. The phone was launched along with a Pro version in the global market on that day and both the smartphones were equipped with Android 10 out of the box.
Now, almost after a year, the company has started rolling out the Android 11 update for the vanilla version of the series. On an important note, this update is only available for the Pilot Testers. Later this update will also be made available for all the Note 9 users of the global variant.
Whereas the Android 11 update started rolling out for Redmi Note 9 Pro users in India in November last year.
