Pokémon GO June Community Day: Catch Frigibax This Saturday Across 47 Indian Cities

Ice-type fans, mark your calendars — this is one of the biggest India-specific Pokémon GO June Community Days yet, and the rewards are stacked.

Trainers across India are gearing up for a big weekend. The Pokémon GO June 2026 Community Day lands this Saturday, June 20, putting the spotlight squarely on Frigibax, the Ice Fin Pokémon — and with 47 cities hosting meetups, this is shaping up to be one of the most widespread Community Days India has seen.

Pokémon GO June Community Day: Event Snapshot

What’s Special About Frigibax This Time?

Frigibax will be appearing far more frequently in the wild than usual, and as always with Community Day, there’s a shot at landing a Shiny version or one with a Special Background. The real prize, though, is the move-exclusive evolution: evolve Arctibax into Baxcalibur during the event (or within four hours after), and it’ll learn Glaive Rush — a powerful Charged Attack hitting 105 power in gyms and raids, or 90 power with a Defense-lowering effect in Trainer Battles. Event Bonuses Worth Planning Around

This Community Day comes loaded with multipliers: 3× Stardust and 2× Candy for catches, a 2× chance at Candy XL for Trainers level 31+, three-hour Incense duration, and hour-long Lure Modules that may pull in Frigibax. Trading gets a boost too — 50% less Stardust required, plus one extra Special Trade allowed (max two for the day). Most of these bonuses run during the core 2–5 PM window, but several — including trading perks and Incense — stretch all the way to 9 PM local time.

Special Research: Worth the ₹59?

For a small fee, Trainers can grab the Frigibax-exclusive Special Research, which includes three Frigibax encounters with Special Backgrounds, extra Frigibax encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. Tickets can also be gifted to friends at Great Friends level or above — just tap the ticket in the shop and hit Gift instead of Buy. One catch: gifting won’t work if the recipient already owns or has been gifted a ticket, and purchases are non-refundable.

Where to Catch the Action in India

With meetups spanning Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, and dozens of smaller cities — from Cubbon Park and Orion Mall in Bengaluru to Shivaji Park and Jogger’s Park in Mumbai, Lodhi Garden in Delhi, and IIT campuses across the country — this is genuinely one of the most geographically spread-out Community Days for Indian Trainers. Check your nearest park or mall, as several cities have multiple official meetup spots running simultaneously.

The Bottom Line

Whether you’re chasing a Shiny Frigibax, hunting for that Glaive Rush move on Baxcalibur, or just looking for an excuse to meet fellow Trainers at the park this weekend, June’s Community Day has something for everyone. With bonus Stardust, cheap Special Research, and dozens of city meetups across India, this is shaping up to be a strong one — don’t sleep on it.
