Itel A27 with a 5.45″ display and Android 11 Go Edition launches in India

Chinese phone maker Itel has launched the Itel A27 entry-level phone in the Indian market without teasing it or releasing any kind of spoilers. It is a compact device with a quad-core chip and it runs on Android 11 Go Edition.

The Itel A27 is priced at 5,999 INR for the 2GB RAM+32GB variant. It comes in three color options, Crystal Blue, Deep Gray, and Silver Purple. It is already available via offline retailers in India.

The Itel A27 arrives with a 5.45″ display with an HD+ resolution, in the optics department, it arrives with a 2MP selfie snapper and a 5MP rear shooter. The device can shoot HDR photos and it has other modes available as well such as beauty mode, portrait mode, short video option, AR filters, and stickers.

We are not sure what chip powers the device as Itel has not yet made it public, all we know is it is a quad-core chip clocked at 1.4GHz. It has been paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The company has provided a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion. The device runs on Android 11 Go Edition and has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Itel had launched the Itel A58 Series last month in Nigeria. The Series featured the Itel A58 and A58 Pro, both devices had a similar spec sheet with 6.6″ displays with HD+ resolution. The phones come with a 50MP dual-camera system and a single selfie shooter. The devices are powered by the UNISOC SC7731E inside the device and 1GB of RAM in the A58 and 2GB RAM in the A58 Pro.
