OnePlus is ready to bring its new television, OnePlus TV U1S to the market this Thursday along with Nord CE 5G. OnePlus Summer Launch Event, where the company will showcase these products is around 20 hours away from now. It’s scheduled for 10th June at 7:00 PM IST.
Till now, renders of the OnePlus TV U1S also leaked on the internet. However, there is no official confirmation. But OnePlus knows our excitement level. So, it revealed some of its specifications through the e-commerce platforms. On top of that, the leaked infos are also there. So, have a look at what we already know about the upcoming OnePlus TV U1S.
Before the deep dive, the OnePlus TV U1S will launch tomorrow (10th June) at 7:00 PM IST, along with the Nord CE 5G smartphone. This television will be available to purchase via the OnePlus official website, Flipkart, and Amazon India. Though, we are not sure whether the sale will start exactly from tomorrow or not. Now, let’s get started.
Looks & Display :-
The images on e-commerce platforms show that the new television will have a big screen surrounded by very thin bezels on three sides and the chin will be a bit thicker. That because the company added its logo, some notification LEDs, and sensor(s) there. The leaked renders said the same thing.
According to the leaks, the smart TV will come with 4K resolution (officially confirmed now) and HDR support. There will be three screen size options – 50 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches.
Software :-
OnePlus puts the OxygenPlay 2.0 inside which is based on Android OS 10. That means you can enjoy most of the compatible Android applications on your TV, either it’s any streaming service or something else. Along with that, there will be Google Assistant compatibility. But here is a surprise, there will be multiple voice assistant support. So, if you are ok with Alexa, you can play with her too.
OnePlus TV U1S will have multiple internal modes such as Game mode, Kids mode, Power Saver mode, and so on.
Connectivity & Control :-
First of all the wireless connectivity. The new television supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. For physical connectivity, there is one HDMI 2.1 port with eARC, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and two USB 2.0 ports.
Apart from these, the TV is offering much more exciting. Lets proceed one by one –

- Two phones can cast on the big screen at the same time
- You can connect your OnePlus Buds with the TV. Need to check if other wireless earbuds are also compatible with it or not

Performance :-
I know the operating system on a TV and its optimization plays a vital role in performance. As I already discussed this part, now, time for the hardware. There is no information about the processor assigned inside, but, there will be 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Audio :-
OnePlus didn’t say a thing about the audio output. But the leaks are here for us. The leak says the OnePlus TV U1S will deliver the audio with 30W speakers. Probably these will be bottom-firing. Dolby Audio support will be there for a great audiovisual combo experience irrespective of the content on the screen.
