Yesterday, we reported how Gigabyte has hit the market with new versions of its AERO laptops. Gigabyte updated these laptops with improved displays, thermal management, and RTX 3000 GPUs. You can read about it here. Today, we have a piece of similar news from the house of XMG. They have announced that its 15 & 17 inch NEO and PRO gaming laptops are refurbished with new updates.
Both of these models will come with a few new specs and a slim case design. The NEO model, of both 15-inch and 17-inch, will feature new Ryzen 9 5900HX or 75800H AMD platforms. The Pro model of the XMG laptop comes with the Core i7 processor. It is one of the first laptops in the market to combine RTX 3000 graphics with Thunderbolt 3.
Schenker announced the new (or E21) generations laptops series which arrives at a slimmed-down fashion giving more comfort to the users. Both the models have been updated so that the overall performance of the system rises. This was the main aim of the company and they believe they have been done that successfully.
The heat pipe layout of the NEO laptops is redesigned and optimized. A more robust and powerful fan has been attached to the laptop. Also, the height has been increased to 11nm. It comes with Max-P RTX 3080, RTX 3070, or RTX 3060 graphics to deliver a better experience to the users.
These new XMG laptops can have 2 displays. One is the previously available 165Hz/WQHD IPS panel, and the second is the 240Hz/FHD IPS panel. 15-inch and 17-inch of XMG Pro laptops offer the RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 in Max-Q form.
The 15-inch laptop comes with a 300Hz refresh rate, or one at 144Hz, and G-SYNC compatibility. The 17-inch E21 laptop has a UHD OLED display option. XMG will start pre-orders of these laptops from the end of January 2021 at €1699 or US$2066.
