Honor 8X and 8X Max have everything you need in your device from huge screen to the big battery.
Honor has launched another series of smartphones in China on 5th September which they are calling the Honor 8X and the Honor 8X Max. After the most successful mid-ranged special Honor 7 series Honor has launched the 8 series and is focusing on providing excellent features at a very decent price range as mentioned before.
From the above pictures, we can say that the 8X looks almost the Honor 9N and the Huawei Nova 3i, whereas the 8X Max has a triangular shaped small notch just like the Oppo F9 Pro and the Vivo V11 Pro in the market.

Honor 8X : 
Honor 8X comes with a 6.5inch FHD+ display with a notch at the top where the bezels on both sides are incredibly reduced and the chin is also made small for the better viewing experience. It comes with a 20MP and 2MP dual rear camera with a dual flash. The 2MP camera is for depth sensing and provides a better picture quality every time. The front camera is of 16MP equipped for great selfies you will click. It will be available in three different storage variants that are 4GB | 64BG, 6GB | 64GB, and 6GB | 128GB. 8X is packed with Kirin 710 and GPU Turbo technology which boosts your gaming experience every time you start a game. The 3750mAh battery will power the device for a whole day with some power management settings. Allover a great device with a premium look having a glass back with different vibrant colours.
Honor 8X Max : 
Honor 8X Max comes with a 7.12inch FHD+ display with a water drop notch at the top where the bezels on both sides are incredibly reduced and the chin is also made small for the better viewing experience. On the chin, the Honor brand logo is engraved at the middle. It comes with a 16MP and 2MP dual rear camera with a dual flash. The 2MP camera is for depth sensing and provides a better picture quality every time. The front camera is of 8MP equipped for great selfies you will click. It will be available in three different storage variants that are 4GB | 64BG, 4GB | 128GB, and 6GB | 64GB. 8X Max is packed with Snapdragon 636 and GPU Turbo technology which boosts your gaming experience every time you start a game. The 5000mAh battery will power the device for a whole day with some power management settings. Allover a great device with a premium look having a glass back with different vibrant colours. The only Max feature in the Honor 8X Max is its Max screen, the Max battery that will give you a 2days long working hours and Dolby Digital Sound system for a magnificent sound effect.
Price and Availability :
Huawei will open pre-orders for the Honor 8X and 8X Max on September 6 and will start shipping on September 11. The Honor 8X will start at CNY 1,399/€180 for the 4GB/64GB model, CNY 1,599/€200 for a 6GB/64GB model and CNY 1,899/€240 for the range-topping 6GB/128GB.
The Honor 8X Max is on pre-order now, priced CNY 1,499/€190 for the 4GB/64GB version and CNY 1,799/€230 for the 4GB/128GB model. No word yet on the Snapdragon 660-equipped model’s price but it will start selling in October.
Review :
The Honor 8X is a great offering from the brand at the price range. The device will have a 91% screen-to-body ratio and a dedicated card slot for the memory card which can be expanded up to 256GB for more storage access. The device feels great in hands and looks premium for the colours and design.
The Honor 8X Max is a max version of the 8X with only the screen, battery and sound quality max in it. Otherwise, the device has less camera resolution, processor chipset is different. Except all these 8 Max is a decent device with a small notch at the top only for the camera. This gives you the max viewing experience making more space for the screen.
