Foldable or rollable phones are still a new technology in the market but the OEMs are backing it to lure more people. Last year, Xiaomi filed for a patent with the USPTO (The United States Patent and Trademark Office) which shows an idea to built a rollable smartphone. This handset can stretch sideways to a tablet form and then roll-in as well.

Jermaine Smit, who is also known as the concept creator, create a set of renders with the help of patent images. The sketches attached him to create this render which is looking really attractive. The device appears with a similar wraparound screen as seen in the Mi Mix Alpha concept phone. This is just a render and not a confirmed device image. It is still an early sketch. Not to mention, the real device can look very different from this render as well. Thus, it will be better if a viewer interprets this image more like an imaginary sketch.
