What’s New in the Hakka Update?

The November 15, 2025 update introduces the powerful Hakka style, a brand-new top-tier ULTRA rarity, an extra style slot for all players, and several quality-of-life improvements. This isn’t just another style drop—it’s a complete gameplay evolution.

The ULTRA Rarity Explained: Unlike static styles, ULTRA rarity grows stronger as you level it up, becoming extremely powerful at Level 5. You’ll complete mastery quests through the Styles menu to unlock progressive upgrades, making this the first truly evolving rarity tier in the game.

Pity System Changes: The update doubled Ultra Style/Ability chances from 0.25% to 0.5% during the 2x luck event. If your Ultra Pity and Secret Pity align, you’ll receive an ULTRA first, then a SECRET on the immediate next spin—perfect for maximizing your lucky spins!

Mastering the Hakka Style

The Hakka Style represents the pinnacle of technical gameplay in Volleyball Legends. Inspired by the notorious 1x1x1x1 Roblox character, this style requires precision timing and strategic thinking.

How the Clone Mechanic Works: You charge up a clone meter by bumping, setting, jumpsetting, and diving, and the meter auto-activates once full. Once Clone Mode activates, jumpset the ball sideways to spawn a clone that can spike, block, or jumpset independently.

Level Progression Breakdown:

Level 1-2: Basic clone spawning capability
Level 3: Super cool animated hacking player card
Level 4: Clones get Maximum Spike plus Sanu backtilt
Level 5: 2nd Clone unlock, which takes extra charge to activate

The second clone creates some of the most unpredictable attack patterns in competitive play. Opponents struggle to read which direction the ball will come from, giving you a massive strategic advantage.

How to Get Hakka Style

You’ll need Lucky Spins, not regular spins, to unlock Hakka. Check our Volleyball Legends codes guide for the latest free Lucky Spins.

Spin During the 2x Luck Event: The 2x luck event runs from November 15, 2025, 11:30 am ET to November 17, 2025, 11:30 am ET, doubling the Ultra Style/Ability chance to 0.5%. This 48-hour window offers your best shot at landing Hakka without hitting pity.

Free Lucky Spins Handout: Don’t miss the limited-time handout! Players received one Lucky Style/Ability Spin every 10 minutes during a two-hour window on launch day—12 total free spins just for logging in.

Smart Spinning Strategy: Focus your Lucky Spins during the event weekend. With halved pity requirements (200 instead of 400), even F2P players have realistic chances of obtaining this ULTRA style. For more tips on maximizing your spins, visit our Roblox competitive gaming strategies.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

Everyone Gets +1 Free Style Slot: The developers added a +1 style slot for all players to support the new rarity tier. This means you can collect Hakka without sacrificing your current favorite styles, and F2P players get more flexibility in their builds.

Updated Pity System: The new pity structure prioritizes ULTRA over SECRET when both thresholds align, giving you better control over your progression path and making long-term grinding more rewarding.

Why Hakka Changes Everything

This update fundamentally shifts Volleyball Legends from collection-focused gameplay to mastery-based progression. The clone mechanics introduce mind games previously impossible in the volleyball genre, while the ULTRA rarity gives veteran players long-term goals beyond just unlocking styles.

For competitive players, Hakka will likely dominate high-level tournaments. The ability to create multi-directional attacks with two clones makes reading opponent movements significantly harder, opening up advanced combo potential that separates skilled players from beginners.

FAQs

Q: Can I get Hakka Style with normal spins?

A: No, Hakka Style requires Lucky Spins exclusively. Normal spins cannot drop ULTRA rarity styles. Focus on redeeming codes, completing season pass missions, and participating in handout events to accumulate Lucky Spins. The 2x Luck weekend event is your best opportunity for efficient rolling.

Q: Is Hakka Style worth it for beginners?

A: Hakka has an extremely high skill ceiling and requires advanced game sense to use effectively. The clone mechanics demand precise timing and strategic positioning that beginners may find overwhelming. Consider starting with simpler Secret-tier styles while learning core volleyball mechanics, then transition to Hakka once you’ve mastered fundamentals like jumpsets and spike timing.
