Twenty years is a long time in gaming — long enough to go from a scrappy sandbox platform to a cultural phenomenon millions log into every single day. To mark the milestone, Roblox has launched The Hunt: Roblox 20, a platform-wide celebration that lets players time-travel through the games that defined each year of its existence.

What Is The Hunt: Roblox 20?

Announced on September 18, 2026, in New Delhi, this isn’t just a nostalgia trip — it’s a full event built around quests, collectibles and community. Players journey through the most iconic games from every year since Roblox’s founding, completing challenges and collecting limited-release UGC (user-generated content) rewards along the way.

Finish the journey, and you unlock Year Infinity — a new tier that grants access to 20 fresh games representing the best of what 2026 and beyond has to offer.

A Little Extra for Roblox Plus Subscribers

There’s also a throwback Classic app theme — bringing back the old-school Roblox logo, colour palette and font for a proper trip down memory lane.

The good news for everyone else: while Plus members get first dibs, the Classic theme itself is open to all players for the duration of the event, so nobody’s left out of the nostalgia.

Why Roblox Is Celebrating This Way?

At the heart of this anniversary event is a simple idea — creators built Roblox into what it is today. Two decades of imagination, innovation and community passion shaped the platform, and The Hunt is designed as a tribute to that journey, honouring the experiences and shared moments that got Roblox here.

Rather than a single flashy update, Roblox chose to turn its anniversary into an interactive time capsule — letting players relive the platform’s evolution firsthand instead of just reading about it.
