Revolutionary Dual 200MP Camera System

The X300 Ultra’s headline feature is its unprecedented camera configuration. The primary shooter uses a 200MP Sony LYT-990 sensor with 35mm focal length—perfect for portraits, street photography, and everyday shots. The periscope telephoto packs another 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPB sensor with 85mm focal length and 3.7x optical zoom for incredible long-range detail.

This dual 200MP setup isn’t just a megapixel race. The massive resolution enables lossless digital zoom, exceptional low-light performance through pixel binning, and the ability to crop photos extensively without quality loss. Combined with a 50MP ultrawide camera, the system delivers comprehensive photography capabilities rivaling dedicated cameras.

Zeiss Partnership and Custom Processing

Vivo integrates Zeiss T* coating across all lenses to reduce glare, minimize ghosting, and enhance contrast. The company’s proprietary video and imaging chips handle complex computational photography tasks—improving autofocus speed, enhancing low-light performance, and enabling smoother 8K HDR video recording.

The 50MP front camera with autofocus and 92-degree field of view ensures selfies and video calls match the rear camera quality.

Flagship Performance Meets Photography

Powering this camera beast is Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, delivering substantial performance improvements over the already powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite. The 6.8-inch flat 2K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate provides an excellent canvas for reviewing photos and editing content.

Global Availability Finally Arrives

Perhaps most exciting for international buyers: the X300 Ultra will be Vivo’s first Ultra-branded flagship launching globally, not just in China. After years of keeping camera-focused Ultra models exclusive to the Chinese market, Vivo is finally bringing its best photography hardware to worldwide audiences.

This positions the X300 Ultra as a direct competitor to Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and Oppo Find X9 Ultra in the premium camera flagship segment.
