The Wedding Decor — Where Modern Meets Tradition

This is what a multicultural Indian wedding looks like when done with both heart and vision. Paparazzi cameras caught peek inside the wedding prep space — and the scale of the floral operation alone was jaw-dropping. Scores of flowers were brought in including roses, carnations, althelia, orchids, and morga, all carefully curated to give the mandap and venue a modern, fresh, and breathtakingly beautiful look.

But Rashmika and Vijay weren’t content with just gorgeous florals. To honour their roots and pay tribute to their respective traditions, the couple also chose banana and banana leaves décor — an element deeply rooted in South Indian ceremonies. The result? A perfect blend of contemporary elegance and cultural soul. Two worlds, one stunning setting.

The Pre-Wedding Celebrations — A Full Week of Joy

The couple didn’t just arrive and get married. This was a full celebration of love, family, and culture built over days:

Their festivities began when they landed in Udaipur and checked into the luxurious ITC Mementos. Friends and family were welcomed with a celebratory dinner, a cricket match, and even water volleyball. The Sangeet saw Rashmika herself perform to Angaaron from Pushpa 2, stunning Vijay in the process. Their mothers stole the show with a surprise dance performance, and Vijay’s mother gifted heirloom bangles to her new daughter-in-law — a moment that had everyone in tears. The Haldi took on a Holi-inspired, colourful, floral energy, followed by the Mehendi ceremony.

Celebrities including Tharun Bhascker, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Rahul Ravindran, and Ashika Ranganath gathered in Udaipur to witness the union. The Telugu ceremony muhurtam was set for 8 AM, followed by the Kodava ceremony at 5 PM, beautifully reflecting both Vijay’s Telugu heritage and Rashmika’s Kodava roots.
