VIROSH Is Official! Vijay Deverakonda & Rashmika Mandanna Marry in Twin Ceremonies

It’s the wedding India’s been waiting for. On February 26, 2026, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna — lovingly dubbed “VIROSH” by fans — officially tied the knot in Udaipur, bringing years of quiet romance into the most joyous spotlight. And the best part? They didn’t do it with just one ceremony. They did it with two.

VIROSH Wedding: Key Details

Two Cultures, One Beautiful Union

The morning kicked off with a traditional Telugu ceremony at 8 AM — honoring Vijay’s roots. Rashmika’s family warmly welcomed the groom’s side with coconuts, betel leaves, fresh fruits, turmeric, and kumkum, as is customary. The couple reportedly went for a striking “Old World” and “primal” themed aesthetic for the decor and look.

By evening, the celebrations shifted beautifully to honor Rashmika’s heritage with a Kodava ceremony at 5 PM — the traditional community of Coorg, Karnataka, known for their deeply rooted customs and elegant rituals.

It’s a rare and touching gesture — two stars making sure both families and cultures feel equally celebrated on one of the biggest days of their lives.

The Run-Up to the Big Day

The festivities began in Udaipur on February 24 with a private gathering for close friends and family. On February 25, the couple shared glimpses from their haldi and mehndi ceremonies, which were intimate and joyful. The sangeet saw performances by both Vijay and Rashmika, plus a heartwarming surprise dance by Vijay’s mother Madhavi — who also gifted Rashmika heirloom bangles, a deeply personal welcome into the family.

Celebrities like Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Rahul Ravindran were among the select few in attendance. A strict no-phone policy kept the celebration private and personal.

Their love story, which reportedly blossomed during the filming of Geetha Govindam, has been one of South cinema’s worst-kept secrets — and now it’s the most beautiful confirmation.
