Vijay Deverakonda Slams “Manufactured Hate” Ahead of Ranabaali vs Jailer 2 Clash: What He Said and Release Dates

Ahead of one of the biggest South Indian box office face-offs of the season, Vijay Deverakonda has chosen to speak up. At a Hyderabad event before the Ranabaali trailer launch, the actor addressed online trolling and the heated chatter around the film’s clash with Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2.

Ranabaali vs Jailer 2: Overview

“Should I Change Who I Am?”

Vijay Deverakonda questioned why he should alter his personality to please critics. He asked whether he should give up because someone finds his dreams and hard work unnecessary, mistake his honesty for arrogance or treat his confidence as pride. His answer was clear: he won’t change, and he’d rather see people focus on improving their own lives and families. He added that he genuinely enjoys success stories and wants others to celebrate them too.

Calling Out “Manufactured” Negativity

The actor went further, saying most of the negativity aimed at him isn’t real hate at all. By his estimate, around “90 percent of it is manufactured,” with some groups posting Reels saying they’d prefer to watch Jailer 2 over Ranabaali, even though Ranabaali is a Telugu film. His point was simple: opinions are fine, but identical opinions appearing everywhere look coordinated.

The AI Warning

Vijay also looked ahead, suggesting that the paid attacks happening today could be handled by artificial intelligence tomorrow, and that the people funding them would eventually stop. He urged people to use social media to promote and improve things rather than pull others down, while acknowledging that this is simply the world we live in.

A Big Box Office Weekend Ahead

With Jailer 2 arriving a day before Ranabaali, the stage is set for a high-profile clash. Ranabaali stars Vijay alongside Rashmika Mandanna, and its trailer has already generated plenty of conversation.
