Vijay officially flagged off the Le Mans endurance race event on Sunday, September 13, 2026, while Trisha Krishnan was spotted attending the high-profile sporting occasion alongside him.
The appearance immediately drew attention because the two actors previously led Leo, one of Vijay’s biggest recent theatrical successes. Here is what the event means for their public association, their film legacy, and the business value of the film’s streaming journey.
What happened at the Le Mans event?
Available event details state that Vijay flagged off the prestigious endurance race on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Trisha Krishnan was also spotted at the sporting event alongside the actor, creating fresh interest among fans of the pair. The supplied information remains unconfirmed, so details beyond Vijay’s participation and Trisha’s reported presence should be treated cautiously.
The appearance matters because Vijay’s public profile extends beyond cinema, while Trisha remains one of the most recognisable actresses in South Indian entertainment. Readers following Vijay’s wider entertainment coverage can also visit Ranabaali Teaser Vijay for another star-focused update. The next question is why this particular pairing attracted so much attention.
Why are Vijay and Trisha Krishnan being discussed together?
Vijay Flags Off Le Mans Race as Trisha Krishnan Is Spotted at Event. Vijay and Trisha Krishnan previously shared screen space as the lead cast of Leo, the 2023 action film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Their reunion at a major sporting event naturally revived interest in the film and in the chemistry that made their pairing familiar to audiences.
No new film announcement or project confirmation is attached to this appearance. The pair’s association also carries strong commercial recall. Leo was produced by Seven Screen Studios and crossed ₹600 crore worldwide, giving the event an immediate connection to one of Vijay’s major box-office milestones. Coverage around Vijay’s screen presence can also include Ranabaali Teaser Vijay, although that link concerns a separate film personality. The business context becomes clearer when the film’s OTT journey is considered.
How did Leo perform after its theatrical run?
Leo established its value first through its worldwide theatrical collection, which exceeded ₹600 crore. That figure placed the Vijay-led action film among the major commercial successes associated with his recent career, while Lokesh Kanagaraj’s direction and Seven Screen Studios’ production credit remained central to its identity.
After its theatrical run, Netflix acquired the film’s digital streaming rights. That transition gave Leo a second commercial window beyond cinema halls, allowing its audience reach to continue through a major OTT platform. The film therefore represents both sides of India’s entertainment economy: theatrical star power and post-release streaming value. Similar film-business discussions can be found through Drishyam 3 Trailer. The remaining issue is what this sighting means going forward.
What could this appearance mean for Vijay and Trisha?
The event confirms only a public appearance and does not establish a new collaboration between Vijay and Trisha Krishnan. Their previous work in Leo remains the verified professional link between them, while the race event adds renewed visibility to that association.
Any claims about an upcoming film, sequel, or formal announcement would require separate confirmation. For Vijay, the flag-off places a major film star in a sporting setting without changing his established cinema profile. For Trisha, appearing alongside him reconnects her with a commercially successful film partnership that crossed ₹600 crore worldwide. As the entertainment calendar develops, attention will remain on whether this is simply a shared public appearance or the beginning of a new professional conversation.
The Le Mans appearance is best read as a high-visibility public moment, while Leo remains the confirmed business connection between Vijay and Trisha.
