October 22: Telugu Triple

The Paradise: Directed by Srikanth Odela, with Nani, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal. It is set in 1980s Secunderabad and follows Jadal, who fights for the dignity of his marginalised Savaari community. Inspired by his mother’s courage, he challenges the powerful Malik family, and the struggle brings loss and sacrifice before it points toward recognition for his people.

Naa Wife Missing: Varun Sandesh and Shweta Basu Prasad star in this Aha Video thriller. A newly married couple’s happy life changes when the wife suddenly disappears. As the husband seeks help from the authorities, doubts about her past surface, and the missing-person case becomes a test of trust.

Varam: A JioHotstar series with Vishwadev Rachakonda, Shivathmika Rajasekhar and Srinivasa Avasarala. Raju is a poor slum dweller who gains the power to see tomorrow’s news in advance. He tries to use it to escape poverty, but changing destiny has consequences, and the gift becomes a dangerous gamble.

October 23: The Big Drop

Sattamum Needhiyum Season 2: Saravanan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar return in this ZEE5 drama. Advocate Sundaramoorthy takes on a complex case that tests his principles. He uncovers institutional corruption and hidden agendas, and a pivotal new character raises the moral stakes.

Dhoomakethu: Directed by Sudhi Maddison, with Sajin Gopu, Nikhila Vimal and Shine Tom Chacko. Kuttan, a 36-year-old bachelor, is attacked by masked intruders on his wedding day and his bride is abducted. He keeps waking up on the morning of the wedding, trapped in a time loop. With a friend’s help he uncovers a conspiracy tied to a rare comet.

Ayyana Mane Season 2: A Kannada mystery thriller on ZEE5 with Kushee Ravi and Akshay Nayak. Jaaji takes charge of her ancestral mansion and faces hostile relatives who want the estate. She begins hearing the voice of her late mother-in-law, who claims her death wasn’t natural. Jaaji must find out whether the cause is supernatural or a calculated conspiracy.

Dorothy: Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, with Sananth, Rishikanth and Keerthy Suresh. This 1980s story follows childhood friends Karthi and Subbu, who grew up as henchmen under Subbu’s father, Whistle Veeraiah. After Dorothy, a family member, dies in mysterious circumstances, Subbu reveals her true gender identity and is rejected by her family. Veeraiah then hires Karthi to end her life, but Karthi struggles to follow through as they travel together and he confronts his feelings. The film explores their emotional journey.
