What’s the Show About?
Unicorn Academy is a beloved animated series based on the book series of the same name, following young riders at a magical boarding school on Unicorn Island who bond with their unicorns and protect the island’s ancient magic. Since debuting in late 2023, the show has clocked two full seasons and two seasonal specials — and it just keeps growing.
Secrets Revealed is technically a continuation spin-off that lives separately on Netflix, so you may need to search for it and add it to your list independently from the original series.
What to Expect in Secrets Revealed
The stakes are higher than ever. Ravenzella, the Queen of Grimoria, has returned and the only way to defeat her permanently lies in restoring the legendary Fairy Tiara — a relic of the very first Unicorn Rider, now shattered into six gemstone pieces scattered across the island.
Sophia and Wildstar stumble upon one of these lost stones, kicking off a thrilling island-wide hunt. Successfully reuniting all six gems will restore the Tiara’s power and unlock powerful new “gemstone tack” for each unicorn — a detail that’s sure to delight young fans.
Meet Serena Furi — The Glamorous New Frenemy
Just when the Sapphires need to be most united, a new disruptor arrives. Serena Furi is a glamorous pop icon with mysterious ties to the Academy, voiced by Shannon Chan-Kent. Described as a “frenemy,” she’ll stir up plenty of drama inside the dorms and test the bonds of friendship at the worst possible time.
Voice Cast Highlights
Sara Garcia returns as Sophia, joined by Kamaia Fairburn, Sadie Laflamme-Snow, Gabbi Kosmidis, Kolton Stewart, Kari Wong, and newcomer Shannon Chan-Kent as Serena Furi.
