What’s Witch on the Holy Night About?

Meet Aoko Aozaki, an ordinary-looking high school girl who is secretly a Magician in the modern world. She is still only an apprentice, living with her housemate Alice Kuonji and working hard to become a full-fledged Magician. Then she meets a boy. That meeting kicks off one young girl’s journey, described as the tale of a Witch.

Why Fans Are Buzzing?

The film is adapted from TYPE-MOON’s award-winning visual novel. It is animated by ufotable, the studio behind Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, known for its breathtaking visuals.

TYPE-MOON has a loyal following thanks to the Fate series, including Fate/Grand Order, and the Garden of sinners. ufotable has brought many of these stories to life, from the Garden of sinners films to Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] and the Heaven’s Feel trilogy. This film is pitched as the start of a new era for both.

What Makes It Special for Indian Viewers?

A big-screen release means fans can see ufotable’s artistry the way it was meant to be seen. Having both subtitled and English-dubbed versions should also help newcomers jump in, even without prior knowledge of TYPE-MOON’s world.
